Hi All,
How can I select multiple files from Gallery and attach to email in one go? It used to work with my Moto XT5 however I could not figure it out in sensation.
Thanks.

Compose email first and attach one picture at a time. Only way I saw. Or find a replacement gallery that allows multiple select like QuickPic.
Swyped from my HTC Sensation using xda premium.

I'm using cm7 and all I have to do is go to gallery, long press a picture, then you can select multiple, then I press share at the bottom left and share via gmail. ^^

The Sensation's stock gallery doesn't support multiple select.

Yes. I used to have CM7 on my moto xt5 and the option was present from Gallery. Sad it is not there in sensation. It is really convenient. I have QuickPic too. Let me check with QuickPic.

At least on the stock Gallery of sense 3.5 you do so.
First go to gallery & open the required Album, then press "Share" & choose "Mail", it will then allow you to select multiple images, then press next & you'll get an empty e-mail with the images attached.

Sorry to rack up an old topic, but I've recently purchased an Artemis, and installed HTC Home Customizer on it, what downloaded and installed HTC Home Plugin.
I'm looking for a way to turn my favorite contacts-tab into a photo-version of it. Now it just states the first few characters of the name, that's all.
How do I put photo's in those square boxes instead of names?

The plugin itself doesn't have the function to edit the photo contact. Your contact entry must have its own "photo value" in the field. So, you need to assign the photo to the contact. Do this with MS Outlook or your favorite contact manager. Good luck!
Is there a way to download attachments from mms? I wanna save these naked pics I get

In the MMS app.
Tap & hold the picture in your message stream. There should be a pop-up menu of options. The second option is to save the attachment.
Long press the picture. It will bring up options. I hear ya on the saving naked pics. Lol. Saved quite a few myself.
installing Astro is also very helpful for saving stuff.
and you have to say nekkid, butt nekkid!
I gather the fabulous XDA forum supports posting pictures ;-)

::sigh:: actually my GF's junk.
This is the way Android camera was designed, to give you a quick jump between camera and gallery. If you don't like it - there are plenty of replacement camera apps on the market, check them out.
You could move the pics and vids to another folder, and disable the folder in the gallery app (push menu button in gallery).
Or read this for more tips: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/hide-private-picture-folders-gallery-android/
your just using the wrong app -
Search for "audio manager" - it is a blue music sign with a orange one on the back,
go into this and you realise it is called hide it pro - download it,
simple to use and works perfectly

pretty sure those will show up elsewhere like in the gallery unless you hide the folder - put a period in the beggining of the name - example .xxxpics

Or put a file called .nomedia in the folder, it won't be scanned for media files by any apps.

He is quite correct, the stock Android camera-app does feature the small thumbnail picture for quick gallery access. I see it on my Nexus One right now.

When in the gallery and you click on share within a pic...I was wondering if there is a way to make messaging appear towards the top of the list. Its annoying to hit more and then scroll down to messaging since most of the time I share pics via MMS.
Thanks
I think if you choose mms several times, it will come towards the top of the list.
I tried skydrive before it was in the more, then one day it just came in the first 3 or 4 choices.

How do I get my camera uploads able to be viewed in the gallery or all my other images stored on dropbox?
Use ES File Explorer, add your Dropbox as a network drive, then you can browse the folder with the ES Gallery app (Maybe also the stock gallery app, I haven't checked because I don't use it)

Ya but when you first run the setup utility, HTC tells you that you can auto upload cam images and view them in the gallery. They definitely don't expect everyone to do that.

So I see where you can click Albums -> DropBox and I get the API access request which I accept, but then Gallery force closes. ARGH
Oh, I didn't know about that feature. Although not much of a feature, since I get to exactly the same stage as you before it force closes.
Does this work for anyone?
BUMP...........
You can enable the automatic upload in dropbox' app settings.

That doesn't answer the question at all....
It works properly for me. The Dropbox app automatically uploads my camera shots and video onto their severs. The HTC Gallery app lets me select my Dropbox folders under the Albums drop down menu. Once selected, I can browse and view whatever.
