On my SGS2 I am running adw launcher EX with adwNotifier.
I have set up a folder on my home screen with my messaging apps in it, sms, whatsapp etc.
when I receive a SMS, the sms app on its own gets the notification, but the shortcut in the adw folder doesn't.
is there away to make the folder have the notification bubble on it to reflect how many notifications are inside it.
I have attached a screen shot to show what I mean better.
Any tips?

i have a samsung omnia 2 and have spb installed everything is great, but i would like to use some of the default samsung apps instead of the default windows or default spb. So for example is there a way so the alarm button launches a different app such as the samsungg one instead of windows default?
I would like to do this for sms, contacts, email missed call, voice message etc. I like the spb icons since they tell me how many messages or emails i have but hate it loading the default windows apps when i have such touch friendly samsung ones.
Or is there is a simple way to change the icons, that way i can add the apps i want and just change the icon so it looks the same as before and shows the notifications of call/messages.
I don't think there's a direct way to do that, but here's what I do. I installed the MobileSense theme for SPB 3.5, then placed the messaging, alarm etc widgets on the screen. Then, I added an application shortcut to my desired messaging app. Then, I changed the skin of the messaging app to a transparent one (available in MobileSense automatically) and placed it over the SPB messaging widget.
Moved as not theme release.
Hi all. I have been looking for a very simple and not too large SMS Widget that I could place on WidgetLocker. Since I could not find any that would fit my needs (especially only being 4x1 max), I created one on my own.
I would like you to install this widget if you were looking for the same thing and kindly ask you to give me some feedback, what you would expect, or what could be improved.
Currently, the widget displays all SMS that it finds. This is planned to be only unread SMS. But I thought for testing purpose it's easier like this. The idea is to fully hide the widget once no unread sms are here (just looks better in WidgetLocker).

Is there anyway to get a notification on the widgets like Gmail,Messages etc.? Sorry I mean with Slimbean 2.6.
Apex pro launcher is what I use. Shows email, missed calls and texts

Go Launcher shows notifications on any icon that can show them, Apex and Nova show some in a more limited fashion. There are some widgets that show it (Handcent has a 1x1 widget that shows notifications).

I'd like a launcher made.
Make it so I can pin 4 open apps to the home screen, and if I dont choose to, automatically have it so the 4 last used apps are pinned.
Swiping to the left opens a unified notification and messaging inbox. Facebook, Text, BBM, Twitter, Skype, Outlook, Gmail.. ect
Swiping up and to the left from any application open the unified inbox
the launcher would have the following screens
Left - Notifications and messaging
Middle - Pinned and running apps
Right - All applications, no need for an app tray.
Material design.

Chrome..is there a way to shortcut my entire bookmaks list through 1 home screen icon? Im sick of going through the dots bookmark thing everytime i want to see a new site.
I used to use Cmarks before Google blocked the Api
With Nova launcher, yes.
(Using it for DuckDuckGo; no reason it cannot be done for Chrome)

Nope.
Just like a normal single icon on home screen (for the folder inside which are the shortcuts).
You can modify the icon for the main folder icon & the inside shortcut icons as you please.
Several shortcuts can be saved this way with either horizontal card panning or vertical scroll of shortcuts; background colour & transparency adjustable.
So that's close to what I've done as a temp. A folder with shortcuts in it. Cmarks was glorious cuz it had everything in a nice tight list and syncd with Google bookmarks automatically. It was like you bookmarks bar in 1 icon. I so miss this functionality.
