That was the only way I was able to get it to work. Luckily I got it when it was free on the amazon market.

same here. and i can't buy from amazon although i want to and i have amazon account just because i am not in US. furthermore this app is exclusive on Amazon. They have no idea of the market outside US especially Asia. sad..

Is it possible to use Titanium Backup to extract the apk file and install it on another KF ? If yes could someone help me out with this

If you pulled the APK off of your Qualcomm/Tegra phone, it won't work since Kindle Fire is PowerVR. Use ChainFire3D to emulate Qualcomm/Tegra and it should work.

I mean if the KF which had Plants vs Zombies installed already, then use Titanium Backup to extract to apk and install on another KF, will that work ?

No.. It's going to ask you to sign in to amazon account to use that app

Nova game

Does anyone have the Nova game apk?
Swyped from my Evo using XDA App
yes gameloft has it, demo or buy, other is pirating and not allowed
If you're reffering to the demo avalible in the new OTA it's the same es the demo in the Gameloft servers, so get it in their website. Don't get excited, they won't give a free game

It's not just about having the .apk, my friend. You need it cracked as well. Google is awesome, just saying. Also if you do not find the exact copy for your Evo (The N.O.V.A .apk game that was created just for that phone) Do Not Even Try It. The game will be plagued with glitches that do not let you finish the game. Also if you think you found the right .apk, remember when you first run it, to make sure Airplane mode is on first, and download the other MB using wifi.
Just buy it, they were having a buy one get one for the holidays. So two hd games for 5 bucks. I pirate stuff as much as the next guy, but come on.

Angry Birds Rio FREE

Today only from new Amazon store, download Amazon market here http://amzn.to/getamazonappstore
It great, love the changes that they made and of course can't beat free
yea i got a email about that... I downloaded already
At&t customers will see no love at the moment from the amazon.com app store as the downloads in the store are not available for them yet. I have my hands on the apk for this...tested, working, no ads!

As I understand it, their handsets don't allow you to enable third party sources, a feature built into Android by default. If you have a third party ROM without the artificial restriction, it should work fine.
sucks for ATT.... good thing EVO = NO ATT
Thank you times 1 billion. I'm glad I logged in to the forum today. I had no idea Amazon had released their app market already, let alone was giving away Angry Birds Rio. I am LOVING the new Angry Birds.
I'm loving Rio too but wish the other levels were already out...i've already beat it
can anyone explain how app updates work in amazon store? rio doesnt appear on my list of apps in the normal market..does this mean no auto updates?
Downloaded this on my tablet. Awesome game.
Sent apk via Bluetooth to my evo and installed... won't run without amazon app store installed really don't want to install it.
So it is making me open an amazon account and put my phone number, address and credit card info up before I can download angry birds. NO THANKS lol
I didn't see anything that the normal app store doesn't have, wtf amazon?
angry birds is already free on the market, why use amazon?? Unless you have att, ,and if you do, your in the wrong forum.
I would like to have this on my phone and tab. My kid loves this game but I will never download it until its on the market.

You may have a long wait. Rio was an exclusive for Amazon.

.......
Thus really made me angry. Why would I enter my credit card number for a free app. If it wasn't for that one particular game I would have never even looked at the Amazon app store. Hints there intentions I guess

Gameloft games

This is not specific to Inspire but anyone has bought games from the Gameloft store? What is your feedback about that? I really want to buy them but scared about the reinstall DRM policy. As expected I change ROM's every week so I was wondering if that matters while reinstalling the games. I bought Asphalt 5 from market which I can reinstall easily. Also I heard that Gameloft games may come on Amazon store?
I do by games from the gameloft website off my inspires web browser. Once it downloads I connect my phone to my computer and copy the .apk over to my computers HDD and I use the Sideload Wonder Machine to install it onto my phone. I have like 6 gameloft games on my phone and its NOT rooted.

But can you reinstall after a full wipe? Is there a limit to how many times you can reinstall? I did read the FAQ on the website but wanted to confirm from actual users.
I rooted and uprooted like 20 times, lol. And because ur reinstalling the .apk on the same phone yeah I have been able to replay them. As long as u r using the same phone.

This is exactly what I do as well. I got Dungeon Hunter 2 this way. I'm unrooted, there's no need to mess up something that's already perfectly fine
Cool. So i bought my first android game which is Modern Combat 2. Thanks to your feedback.
Inspired from my Inspire 4G using XDA Premium App
I bought Gangstar: Miami Vindication and have had no problems with the game.
+1 to what everyone else here is saying though, backup the apk to your PC

I think there is a thread on here that tells you what you can do to get Amazon apps to work.
I just rooted my Inspire, got Amazon app store installed, get rid some ATT software that I don't need.
By the way, Amazon free app to day.
aniPet Marine Aquarium Live Wallpaper
I haven't rooted yet, but did sideload Amazon app and go get the free app daily. I can't install, but when art officially lets us use amazon I will have a nice stack of free apps.

I haven't missed one yet, either. A few of them I have been wanting and would have bought them. It's a really nice thing from Amazon.

You can get the Apps installed just like you did with the Amazon App store with SLWM. Amazon APPs are downloaded to your Storage Card. Here is how.
1. Get Sideload Wonder Machine.
2. Get Any File Explorer from the Market. I use ES File Explorer-No Root Needed
3. The Files are located on your Storage Card in this folder location.....
/Android/data/com.amazon.venezia/cache
4. The Files or .APK will be under amazon names....
5. Depending on your File Explorer you can see the APK image....
6. Use SLWM to install the APK's....or Copy them to a different location.
Some of the APK's will be deleted if the Amazon App Store is deleted. Some will not. It depends on the developer.....
Here is another Link.....
Hope this helps.
X Construction is super addictive.

A replacement to google appstore on custom rom

Im looking for an apstore that has the gameloft games and such and that sells them via paypal and not google's method. I keep getting error not found if I try to get a paid app off the google store (after reading a ton of posts it seems its cause of my location). Also a Store that has a working monopoly for kindle (c7 modded) that works and i can pay for via paypal

thanks but im not looking for warez anyone can get those with google search, im more interested of being able to do in app purchases, like pay a 6 month sub on order and chaos but since im in PR and I don't own a phone with 3g i don't have a way to connect or try any of the posted fixes. To go straight to the point id like a market like amazon's stock one ( I have amazon on c7 but alas it wont list the gameloft for kindle apps if it did i could probably get O and chaos there and pay for its subs too) so either a trick to make amazon shop work like the one in stock rom while under c7 (i cant stand the stock's wallpaper thing or its launcher) or a shop that will SELL me in game purchases and paid games not asking for crackers or cheats just a trick to use the shop legit from puerto rico
have you tried alternate stores like
Aptoide
YAAM
SlideMe
GETJAR
they may be able to help you.
I have get jar no dice for in app purchase. I'll test the others thanks
