Do you have flash installed? I know AOSP has had problems with flash in the past.

I have the exact same problem. Youtube plays in 3g but not in 4g. I am using bamf forever 11
Mine plays in 4g but constantly buffers as if it's not getting the full speeds. Even pausing it to let the cache build doesn't work because once you press play, it loses all the cache and plays for a few seconds and needs buffering again.
I cant believe this isn't a huge issue posted all over the place
YouTube isn't playing over 4G Network but is playing on wifi. I have a very fast 4G Network. Netflix plays without any issues, Just YouTube over 4G. This sucks, I watch many YouTube videos and 95$% of all flash content is over YouTube. This started I think Yesterday when I downloaded the flash update.

It isn't the update. I just updated today to see if it would FIX this problem. It doesn't. I uninstalled updates and went back to flash 10.3 but that didn't help either
Did you try 3g? It works but what good is lte if inhave to use 3g.
Update on my issue
I get it on 3g after a few seconds and over wifi but 4G doesnt work or when it does, i have to leave the video trying to play for about 5 to 10 minutes then it finally starts

This morning mine is working on 4 g again. I haven't changed a single setting sun last night when it didn't work
Im working today as well. No issues. I did report it to them yesterday & made a comment in the market but doubt they saw it and reacted that quick
This thread must have scared the * out of them and they JUMPED to fix it! LOL
Lets just hope it continues to work.
This AM mine also was back working on 4G. This happened to me about 6 weeks ago for a day. Same thing by the next AM it was working again. Very strange. At least it is working, Nothing sucks worse then a glitch in the Thunderbolt. Can not complain, my Thunderbolt has been pretty damn solid for me.

Title says it all...i have tried every browser, wifi, regular data, reinstalling flash,set browser to desktop mode, and live games or any videos from espn's website will not play The best i got was on wifi and i got sound and NO video....pisses me off because my brother in law has an atrix 4g with at&t and his played them fast and in great quality....anyone know how to fix it or what i am doing wrong?
I don't know what to tell you, but they work fine for me (I just watched one a minute ago). I am running gummy 1.9.1 and use Act1 app for videos and everything works just fine for me.

The recorded videos work on mobile mode but no live streaming games work...

Are notifications delayed for anyone else? Sometimes they'll come instantly. Texts are usually decent like just a few minutes late. Gmail messages can come 10 minutes after I get them on my phone. Why is this happening?
I got it so I wouldn't have to take my phone out of my pocket to read emails/texts....but that's not helping right now as I have to get my phone out to see what it is, instead of waiting minutes for my watch to tell me.
The app "Notification For SmartWatch" works INSTANTLY...but this app will only tell me WHO texted me or emailed me...not what the messages are.
I'm using a Nexus 5 and have tried it on stock and also SlimKat 3.8
Are you using multiple BT devices simultaneously during these delays?

I wonder if it's Kit Kat. I have a att lg g2 and when it had jelly bean, it worked great but now I have kit Kat, I notice delays and occasionally I don't even get a notification. I thought I read somewhere that the SW2 doesn't officially support Kit Kat.

Hmm, I guess that's possible. The only other device I have on hand to test it with is a HTC One GPE on KitKat :/
Also, I didn't get any notifications for like 45 minutes tonight, I think they just stopped altogether (yet they had already come on my phone) and so I restarted my phone and then they kicked in on the watch.
I have HTC One with android 4.4.2. My notifications incomes within 1-2 secs...

I really don't get why ppl feel the need to write this in a thread where the OP has a problem. It's like you're saying since you have no trouble, he must be doing something wrong, or his problem is not valid.

If you're on wifi, there might be some interference going on. Try getting on a 5ghz wifi network, and then you can also lock that network down to a specific channel in the router set-up, so it stays clear from bluetooth frequencies.

i've only said I have this device with kitkat and no problems at all, so it's not a kitkat problem. I think it is helpful. Do you get it now?

Yeah I get what you're saying but tbh he did provide good input, so that now we know it's possible for the SW2 to work correctly with KitKat.
And I am on 2.4ghz wifi so that may be the issue.
Another weird thing I noticed is that just now I got a text message, I waited a few seconds for it to come on the watch but it didn't...so I turned on the watch and opened the messaging app, and there it was (the new message) I got no notification about it the watch didn't light up or buzz at all. (and the event app / notification count on the watch still said 0, it's as if it was already read)
So maybe with texts there's no delay, the text is there it's just that I didn't get a notification. With Gmail though I'll have a 15 minute old email and if I look on the Gmail app on the watch it still shows nothing, it will just come in later delayed.

Everything was great until i updated the youtube app yesterday. I was gonna watch a video today at home, but the youtube app was loading really slow and buffering slow, my internett is pne of the best ones here in norway for my internet provider. The video was lagging sound was lagging and studdering. Then i walked to the computer and tested youtube there, maybe it will be better, but no everything is the same as on the phone as i monsioned. If someone can help me please.

Hey, are you having trouble with Youtube on your PC?
It is known that the NEXUS5 throttles when it's pushing it, but it's highly unlikely it would throttle only playing a youtube vid + running the youtube app.
Test youtube on your computer and let us know.

If this VoLTE update also includes HD voice, it is THE thing.. once you use HD voice there's no coming back. Kind of like watching HD TV for the first time. You then realize how much mental energy it takes to keep up with calls and conferences on regular lines vs hearing everything as clearly as if you're there in person.

I dont know but i think there is anythinghs that crashes the app. Because i am not able to play more than 3 - 4 minutes without restarting the app. I have to figure out what wrong with my s6. I am running xstrolite and arter kernel.
I have the same issue. Freshly installed unofficial CM11 on Samsung Trend Plus. Yes it's a low end phone but app works fine for 2 minutes, then suddenly crashes after some idle time or when I try to catch a pokemon. I thought it's because of very bad hardware but if it's also an issue for S6 then maybe there's some software fix. Hope you find some solution.
same issue on samsung galaxy s2 plus. game freezes after 1 minute. some times after restarting 10 times it works without freezing but then i get some glitch in graphics, roads are pulsating and pokemon textures arent loading properly. my phone is rooted and has CM11 (kinda think its causing the issue)

Still ripping through my battery though... I downloaded it and installed it at 90%. I lauch it,log in and look where my gym is and a two other Pokestops and then notice I'm down to 87% it's like 1% a minute..
They should allow us to download an offline map and use that. I'm sure general GPS use isn't so thirsty.....
