I needed to manually install Social Hub by taking the .apk and using Root Explorer to place the file in /system/apps. Do I need to have the Social Hub.odex file in that directory too?
On my stock ROM I have both files in system/app.

1. In a stock version of honeycomb, D=does it come with any file explorer or file viewer to install .apk app.
2. Is having the Market required to install an .apk file?
3. Is it possible to install a file explorer without market or internet in honeycomb?
Thanks for answering.

Each and every android application is bundled as an apk file. When an apk file is installed different entites (files) of the application are stored in different parts of the system.
How can i find out where all the files of a particular application are stored inside the android file system? Is it the right way to parse apk file and find the places where all the parts of the app are stored?? Any ideas?
The apps .apk file should be in /data/app while the apps personal space with settings, configs etc. are in /data/data/packetname/
If it is preset to install to sdcard there is also /sdcard/Android/data
For files that get created on the /sdcard, there is no way of tracking/knowing what belongs to what app.

Hi,
Anyone have the files below for d/l for the [4.4.2][Sense 5.5][3.10.401.4][Stock] from tr1gg3r84 ?
Calendar.system.apk & calendarProvider.system.apk
I deleted them by mistake and now sync does not work.
Regards,
Ramsey
Just extract .zip of the rom on pc and you should find in system/app your missed apps. Copy on phone storage and use Total comander, copy them in system/app on your phone, then set permissions to rw-r-r and you are done
