Using leftover money from dontations for fixing my computer I have set up a private forum and FTP server, 10gb space, 100gb monthly bandwidth.
It is a place we can discuss and test without being bombarded by n00bs. If you join PM me or Walshieau to get access to the hidden areas and FTP server.

Don't wanna sound offensive, but what about a project manager like activecollab and a dedicated wiki?
Before I begin, I'd like to say that I absolutely love this site. When I purchased the Tilt from AT&T, I had no idea that I would be able to mod it in this many ways, making me extremely happy that I didn't get an iPhone after all.
With that said, I have a ton of unused bandwidth on my hosting, and I would be more than happy to host ROM's for the developers here. Hopefully this can save a few of us from having to purchase RapidShare accounts.
Ideally I can provide every developer with an FTP account, or rather I can use an uploading script. If you guys are interested in this, let me know (PM me), and I'll get your set up ASAP.

Not sure if any of you are interested in running your own site dedicated to your ROMs or mods ETC, however if you go out and pick yourself up a domain, I would be more than happy to provide you guys with unlimited space and bandwidth hosting as soon as the domain is pointed.
Hosting comes with CPanel, and no expiry date.
Just may way of giving back to the people that have made several of my phones the most epic experience ever.

I am working to create an archive of all roms, source code, modems, and kernels for the Galaxy S 4G. I am adding them as I download them and am working to make this a complete source for everything related to this phone. This site will remain up forever and will provide people with whatever they need.
If developers would like to use this to host their roms I can create an FTP account for them upon request, or I will add it within a few days of it's post in the forums. The only thing I ask is that people don't post links to these roms in other locations and instead link to the forum post of the developer. Support our developers!
I have plenty of space and bandwidth to host anything and everything, but if developers use their FTP to host non-Android things their account will be removed. Also donations are always appreciated as server space costs money!
I would love to have an ftp. I have been having space issues everywhere. Could you PM me when you have it set up?

I'll be working on filling in everything over the next few days. After that if there is anything I don't have there feel free to make requests.
not trying to knock your suggestion cause i think its a great idea, but this should be in the general section and not the dev section. believe it or not, but the devs do check that section every so often. one thing i would like to ask though is, how much space and bandwidth do you actually have, cause if its limited, there might be some issues since the dev work gets downloaded from here A LOT and with updates and all that, it will just eat at your bw. also with the space, if devs keep developing more roms/scripts/kernels or whatever they develope, that too will get eaten up. like i said though, i think its a great idea and if you would like, pm me or hit me up on gtalk [[email protected]] and maybe we can talk about this some more.

Space I have 60GB, and I have another server with 250GB that I can overflow to if necessary. Bandwidth, I have 2TB, and another server that has 3TB if it runs out. I'm not going down without a fight .
Also, if this should be in general. A mod can move it .

here's the deal guys. any devs who want ftp access to my server, just pm me. same rules will apply when uploading. what i'll probably be doing is create seperate folders for each dev who wants access and set it up so they only can access that folder via ftp, that way there won't be any accidental deleting from other devs. so if you want access, pm me here or hit me up on my gtalk [[email protected]]

Yes... "Accidental" deleting... Muahahaha.
This makes me so happy, awesome work. I had the same thought a few months ago, except my thought was to build it into an app for easy navigation and downloading. (I usually cwm flash from sd downloads)
This site semi-eliminates the need, but also would make it easier to build since there are clean direct links for download. Any objections to me toying around with that? Or if any other devs want to run with my idea, that's cool.. (understanding that it was intended to be a free app for us xda sgs4g users.)
currently i have only one person who wants to use my host. not bad since we've only started this a few days ago. as of right now, i'm currently playing with some flash templates for the home page to make it look good. there's nothing special there now, but i'll be updating it as i get my flash skills perfected once again. its been a while since i've played with flash. see you all around.

Just a quick update, I had some people contacting me about FTP accounts or file hosting services. So I just want to give an explanation about what I'm offering here. What I can offer you guys is web hosting, unfortunately I can't set up FTP's. What you can do is build a small web page, that provides and option to upload and download files, maybe some explanation about your ROM's or MOD's.
Like a small home page but with a download option. I can give you unlimited storage and a descent download speed (no monthly bandwidth limits). There are pre-build sites on the web that can get you started(like file and photos sharing gallery and stuff), and I will help you set things up and running.
In addition I want to offer a chose of domains. (as I explained in my previous post, I'm offering you a sub-domain "yourname.my-domain.whatever). So the options are:
