is there a youtube hd app available that runs on the kindle fire? Im not talking about "hq", i'm talking about real "hd", like 720p or better.

Guys can anyone tell me how can i play full hd videos on my phone. I have khalpowers v4 galaxyXT installed.

I have lag when i try to play a 1080p youtube video on the desktop YouTube site. The og galaxy s 2 doesn't haven't this problem any ideas?

watching it in the web browser on the full site and changing it to 1080p

Yeah I have the Samsung Infuse and I use Opera Mobile Browser ( best browser ever) & I have probs with 1080p as well viewing in dt mode 720p works perfectly for me....

with the infuse i can understand but from a dual core? anyone else having this problem?
problem existed on the atrix. is there a device that doesn't have problems with it?
Pardon my ignorance... but why would we need 1080p on our phones? they can't display the lines, or does it actually still look better? Less Grainy?
on the desktop I don't notice anything higher than 720 as I have a 720TV.
I was wondering if there is an option to play youtube videos in 1080p watching it on the phone? I know that samsung g2s supports 1080p youtube videos but apparently the g2x doesn't. Im running stock Rom (froyo) without root.

I got mine to do it by signing in to my Youtube account and going into setting at Youtube setting it to play Highdef if available.

Not in the youtube app. I think hq means 480p at best. In the browser you can but playback will stutter like crazy

It may be a brain trick but when I logged into Youtube with the browser and did the settings, I also saw a difference in higher quality in the app.
Is it still necessary to have a hack for Netflix to display on the higher resolution screens in HD... ??
or has Netflix been updated to the point that it streams in HD anyway now?
The app claims to auto adjust to HD when the hardware supports it and the stream speed is sufficient for it. For me, it appears as close to HD as my eye can tell.

Hey guys i just want to ask if any of you have tried playing 1080p or even 720p videos on the nexus s because im running on slimbean 3.0 marmite kernel and I used bs player to play HD videos but it will not be a smooth playback... does anyone have any idea on how to make the playback be smooth? Poor maybe this is hardware limitation?

If you haven't come across any solutions, I'd suggest Dice Player.
I've tried VLC player and it runs HD videos smoothly and amazingly. It's still in BETA but it's amazing. I'd give it a try, it's free so you won't be losing anything. It also plays any format and you can use it to listen to your music. Another cool feature is it allows you to stream videos on it.

I don't know if BS Player has the option but use MX Player and while your video is playing, choose SW Decoding, since HW decoding makes the video stutter
