Pretty sure you're mistaken about it working with Transformer...
says it isn't compatible with mine...
Uhm.. Yes it is working
Do you try it with PS3 controller?
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using Tapatalk
I havent yet, Im actually studying for finals atm. Ill give it a shot later
Wondering if it's because I'm in Europe Gahhhh can't wait to be back in Texas!
SWEET
Its working on mine as well!! I wish I had the $150 dock for my tranny, and the $50 onlive controller.
Asus OC'ed Revolver Rom, Blades Kernel.
works great on mine too. all i need is a universal controller
I just got it and I must say it does run pretty well on the TF with a decent internet connection. That being said I also connected my ps3 controller through the dock's USB port and while the controls work fine I can't seem to change what certain buttons do, for instance start on the controller is home on the TF. Is there anyway to change what the buttons to or customize them in some way? Other than than that the app is definatly a great start
Here is the APK if it doesnt show compatible
http://www.filedropper.com/comonliveclient-1
how did you get lego batman for free?
i installed through the email link and it didnt credit me the game
edit: nevermind i was too impatient. i just got an email saying it was put on my account XD
Does anyone know the controller they are selling with it would be able to work with other games and emulators on the Transformer? I am in the market to buy one just for my TF and figure why not the official Onlive one? If only it will work for apps though...
Darksiders works pretty well with virtual pad.
Is the pad already for sale?

Wow! work great with the dock, the virtue tennis 2009 is awesome ,
i wish the graphic was a little better , but still awesome
Iv just installed this and played a few trials, i think the graphics are amazing and show how amazing this piece of kit.

Oh man its soooo awesome!!! Just tried it with a Sixaxis controler, The only way to make it work Is to choose "Bypass IME" under the Sixaxis app settings.
And after that change the keys IN GAME as if you were using a keyboard
EDIT:
Cant play most games that require Mouse and keyboard or a Controller. Cant configure dual analogs so thats a bummer. I wonder if that onlive control works on our tf with the dock
From what I've been reading, you can't use the MicroConsole's Controller via USB on ANY PC, let alone the Transformer. However, they're soon coming out with a controller that will be "universal", able to connect to iPad, Android, and PC devices (though using what ) for $50.
Thanks for trying out the SixAxis though, I've been wondering how that would work. I think I'll definitely get the controller when it's released, and pair it with my HTPC and my Transformer. That way I can play these games on the big AND the small screen!
In Onlive site they expect to start selling the controller tomorrow

Apache is a PPC not a smartphone and a joystick probably to play games. (kinda pointless if you ask me.)
mistake post please delete
Not pointless at all! I was trying to convince my friend to get a xv6700 because of the affordable price and the upgrades available on line and the one single thing that stopped him from buying it was that I couldnt find a gamepad that works with it. So he still listens to his cassette player walkman. He says a CD doesn't carry as much music. Sigh.
Also playing snes, mame, amiga, coleco emulators, etc etc on 6700 is a bit difficult. You are limited to those rpg games where you can take your time to make a move and not the games with real time action because of the button layout. And even though N64 emulators for ppc exist who the hell is going to brave to play it with the buttons on a 6700? Not to mention the hundreds and hundreds of games available on torrent sites for the ppc.
Thus the need for a gamepad.
Good luck amoraleite in finding one and let us know how your search went.

Yup! They finally did one, but I don't know how good it is. It appears to be a basic OGee Nintendo layout plus two buttons. Not cool being that the 6700 could probably play N64 and playstation games. Some PPC are too big to fit in it being that it was designed primarily for smartphones. But I believe the 6700 will fit in it and is in the compatibility list. Its going for 80 bucks, maybe one day soon it will be down to $30 on ebay or craig's or something.
Let the games begin! Or the testing or what ever you people do up in here.
Peace!
Actually this thing has been out since 2005 and you can buy it for cheap if you look for it. I just got one at a total of $42.48 almost half the price at ebay. Wait a few days because I just bought the last one. I cant find any other bluetooth game pads.
Heres a video of it in use.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYcKoDwJoCY
My question is this. Can people use two bluetooth devices at the same time on a xv6700 running wm6? For example can I still use my bluetooth Plantronics p590 headset with this bluetooth gamepad at the same time? Should I start a new thread? Can I turn off the audio in the SNES emulator while playing Godzilla and listen to Big Daddy Kane's "RAW"? If folks dont know I will let you know when the gamepad comes in. I'm sure some one knows for sure.
I have this game pad and it works perfectly with my PPC-6700. It also fits perfectly in the gamepad. Also when I don't want to carry it around, I use the keyboard on the 6700 to play my games on Morphgear, Fburn, and FpseCE. To be able to use the keyboard for these emulators you need Emulamer's 6700 Multiple Key Press Fix. This is so the the 6700 can detect multiple keys being pressed.
6700 keyboard fix
In case anybody still needs it

If you are interested in alternatives to the MSI or Chainpus BGP100 bluetooth gamepad, google search "modded by bacteria" go to the "work in progress" section of his forums, and search for the thread "Re-housed Bluetooth controller". The creator of the site, Bacteria, will be transplanting the innards of the BGP100 into an SNES controller. Previously, he has transplanted it into a PS1 controller. It seams feasible to DIY into almost any controller housing.
Please. This link above is not working! Thanks if you can upload it again.
Good afternoon folks. I should be getting my transformers on sunday, so i want to start looking for gamepads.
I want to use it bluetooth, like you can do with the wiimote, but i dont care for the wiimote layout.
Id like to get it to use with emulators, and games in general, FPSs etc.
can anyone suggest one that they really like?
Ive seen the ones that fold out like a ninja star, but is that the only option?
Appreciate any feedback.
thanks
Bluetooth Wii Classic Controller from Datel.
Unlike other classic controllers you do not need the wii remote to use this.
It syncs with the wii remote apps itself.

I have recently discovered a PS1 gamepad / controller (see forum post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1033409). It works with FPSE, and all -oid emulators and also all other Android games that support Keyboard input. Unfortunately the availability of the pad is limited, as they are custom made by a guy in China. But I have asked him to make thirty new ones and by next week they'll be hopefully finished. If you are interested keep following the thread mentioned above which I will update once I got an update.

Awesome. So getting that.
It really is a great controller.
The ONLY thing I don't like about it is the placement of the small Z shoulder buttons.
It's designed exactly like the Official Wii Classic Controller tho so they put them where Nintendo put them.
Aside from not needing the wiimote to sync it and adding rubber grips to the back for comfort they are nearly identical.
Would be SICK if they ever made an updated version based off of the Wii Classic Pro controller.
Dont see that happening tho since stores nolonger even stock these anymore since Nintendo made retailer pull them. Online only. Thanks Nintendo.
totally ordered that controller. im excited to use it.. thanks for the recommendation.
now i just gotta get my transformer tomorrow and get some psx stuff on it, as well as mame.
im having a hard time getting my killer instinct rom to work on mame for android though. its like the mame on android only works with like 5% of the games.
Does this work on non-rooted devices?
Where can I get one?
Dude I've looked all over and so far I can't find one anywhere! If you know where I can come across one or have any surplus controller that you don't want anymore PLEASE let me know!
I just got a BT controller for my TF. I did a lot of research. For me, it seemed like the most compatible was the PS3 controller. I picked up a refurbished unit for $20. I use the sixaxis app to make maps for the buttons. I've gotten it to work with all touch screen apps I have and even RetroArch.
If you flash ROMs a lot, I recommend a PS3 controller. If you're going to stick with a given ROM or stay stock, then you will probably be fine with any of the other pads mentioned I am this thread.

You only need usb to change the BT MAC address on the controller via a PC. When you buy the sixaxis app, it gives you instructions for this. Connection to your phone/tablet is all wireless BT.
looks like they are finally up for pre order.
if enough people pre order they will carry them.

Phonejoy is a new product and we need to import a batch from overseas in order to sell it. In order for this to be viable we require a minimum amount of orders. We will make our decision as to whether we import by August 15th. If we have not received enough orders by this date then we will cancel and refund your payment - Clove
Overview of Phonejoy Analog Android Gaming Controller
Phonejoy is a brand new bluetooth gaming controller for Android devices. Styled similarly to a Playstation controller it features the complete 14 button set up (d-pad, select, start, colours and shoulder triggers) 2 analog sticks and has a working range of 2 metres from your device. It will fit comfortably in the hand and improve your gaming experience and response. Phonejoy is designed to be paired directly to your Android handset via Bluetooth. Also included is a handy stand to hold your device at just the right angle while playing.
Read the full review on our blog HERE
It is recommended to install the free application Bluez-IME from the Android Market to better enable compatibility with Phonejoy. Bluez-IME requires Android 2.2 or higher. A custom ROM may need to be installed on your device for complete functionality - rooting your device is undertaken at your own risk.
A full list of instructions for installing, pairing and setting up Phonejoy can be found on the official instructions page

this does have analog control. so long as the Dev supports it in the app. which shouldnt be a prob because they already support phonejoy pads
it has analog controls but they are on/off there is no gradual progression its on or not that blue ime just emulates a keyboard. if someone can come up with a true analog set up this would be killer but until then i just stick with my wiimote with classic controller.
looks pretty sweet. this + hdmi to tv = awesome.
Thanks for posting this up Spoo76, no idea how close Clove are to getting the number of pre-orders they need - I expect this will help!
Try the sixaxis app. Works well
Tried this with a PS3 Sixaxis and it works well https://market.android.com/details?...sixaxiscontroller&feature=more_from_developer
Yeah, to little to late on their part, you can purchase an official PS3 controller for cheaper or a non official one for 10-15 bucks, rather than 50...
Well official PS3 controller works just fine but a non official one doesn't (dealextreme).

no idea what you're trying to say here, overall. But Sixasias Controller works on the TF700T. I can confirm this since I have both and have used them. Just make sure you're rooted, and use the tool on the PC to put in TF700T blue tooth address into the PS3 controller.

Look into USB joystick center also, i like it the best. It can sync wireless(I use wii mote), and through hardwire usb. It also has an addon that allows you to map button pushes to specific screen touches so you can play games like GTA 3 and Shadowgun without using touchscreen controls at all.
Edit - Sorry didnt read the first post to well. You dont need both apps. You have to go to USB Joystick centers website and download the JoystickToTouch addon. Then you can accomplish what you are looking for. I believe i have seen a video with someone syncing a PS3, WIii, XBOX360 with the wireless pc adapter and through USB hardwire, and also Logitech and other brands. It really is the most versatile software out for this type of application. Just try to go slow when learning the joystick to touch setup interface, it can be a little difficult to get used to.

I've got an add on to the initial question... Is there an app out for a bluetooth controller that does not require root? Or better yet, a bluetooth controller that can work natively without needing a secondary support app?

I'd like to know this too.
Kind of...OnLive's Universal Controller. It's just limited to OnLive's app, which is just a client to OnLive.
But to map touch controls, you'll need an app for it. There is nothing native about it in Android. And for emulators, you'll need probably need an app to map the keys. Although, I never tried it with the OnLive Universal controller.
The PS3 Controller pairs without root and works flawlessly
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using Tapatalk 2
Yep, the PS3 controller works without requiring any 3rd party apps. I use it to play THD games like Shadowgun and Deatrigger and also FPSe games.
Just plug into your dock for the first time you use it and pair. After that, any time you play you won't need to use the dock anymore. Just turn on bluetooth on the tablet and press the Playstation icon button on the controller and presto - you're on!
No probs with one controller...but if you want to use two controllers then (as far as I know) you need 3rd party app and have to be rooted.
Hi,
Recently I bought my fire tablet and was wondering if there is a decent game controller that can work with it. Any suggestions would be nice.
I would like to know this too. Specifically, anyone get the newer xbox one bluetooth controller working with it?
i bought this one some weeks ago for my fire tv stick and it works also with the fire hd 10 2017 (i tested it only with 'Beach Buggy Racing' and 'Asphalt 8: Airborne'):
Eaxus Android Bluetooth Game Controller (search on ebay or amazon)
bluetooth connection is a bit weird as the buttons are labelled differently from the description but for the tablet i only needed to hold the home button as far as i remember.
Xbox One Controller works perfect wireless
I'm trying to get a 3rd party wired XBone controller working with otg on HD 8, but I can't figure it out. Do I have to wait for root?
I went and buy Gamesir g3s. You can use it on android Windows and ps3. It resembles PlayStation 3 dualshock controller. It's nice and work without a hitch. You can even use the controller as a mouse. It's great for games that support controller. I use it to play some of my PSP games. God of war chains of Olympus works ok on fire HD 8 there are some slowdowns within the game but controller works great.

I have a Moga Pocket which uses bluetooth and it's a pain in the ass. I prefer to use usb wireless controllers (which cost $10 or less) with a OTG adapter
i like the 8bitdo controllers. sn30 pro!
I bought myself the 8bitdo Zero controllers on Amazon and I love them!!! Have both the blue and red. Can't wait for the new ones that will be released at the end of this year. They're tiny but completely portable and perfect for NES, SNES, GBA and Genesis games on the go with my Fire HD10. Now if I could have a tiny portable N64 Controller I'd be very happy!
