hi
I bought my desire s couple weeks ago and s-off it with revolutionary.io .
yesterday i found a problem in my device and tries to s-on it to send it to warranty.
after flashing latest RUU 2.10.401.8 it stops at htc logo and I wait about 20 mints but didn't changed...
Can somebody help me?
I think my problem is by h-boot.
because i flashed an old ruu and it installed correctly and now working,but when i install a 2.3.5 ruu my device hang on splash screen...
any idea?

my htc desire keeps rebooting once turned on! a few months ago i installed a custom froyo rom with a guide from this site worked fine but one day i just started rebooting and getting stuck in a reboot loop, i gave up in the end and bought a xperia x8 but now i want to get my desire back up and running as the x8 doesnt really cut it!
now when i turn on the desire it gets stuck on the htc screen i did a clear storeage but now when i turn it on it gets to the htc screen and reboots it will do this untill i pull the battery. i can get into bootloader fine tho
any ideas on getting it working again?
im pretty familular with flashing roms etc
i should mention its a UK orange desire and is unlocked
please help!

did you try wiping then reflashing?
how do i wipe?
should also say when i try to enter recovery it goes to HTC screen and vibrates 5 times
if it helps it says something about PB99IMG.zip but i re downloaded that and put it on to the sd card but fails CID incorrect update fail
details on top of the screen are:

ok i can now get into bootloader with HTC in the centre and 4 tringles around the edges but every time i run a RUU it says File open Error (Error 110) i have a gold card in the phone so im pretty much stuck! any help please!!!!

just realised about unlocking it, you should root and flash ur phone with a new custom ROM, hold the down button and power button down when phone is off, mess around with the settings.
Hi all,
I've put my A&TT htc one mini in a rather funky state. I attempted to use rumrunner s-off 0.5.0, and got to the pouring 2 step where the phone failed to boot. I've ended up in a boot loop where the splash screen (htc one, beats audio) will show up and then the phone will reboot to the htc phone screen and stay there and won't boot into the rom.
I've flashed he following rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2535024.

I've tried reflashing the rom with the same behavior per @beaups reccomendation with no success, so I'm not sure what happened.
I do still have access to twrp and fastboot.

when I tried to factory reset this phone, I noticed that there was a lot of stuff on my sd-card which I dont need enymore. So I formatted the card, put back the latest cm11 build, flashed it after wiping everything and it gave my an error. After a bootloop that followed, I decided that I should do a RUU. But the RUU.exe got stuck at about 43%. I also tried the commandscreen RUU, which got stuck at
"(bootloader) [RUU]WP,dzdata,0"
I tried many different RUU and all of them got stuck.
Now my phone is stuck at the RUU screen with the gray HTC logo and the black background.
Does anybody know what I should do now? I really need the phone so please help.

Me have been told I could only run an RUU and nothing else , cause I am stuck in RUU-Mode
I have HTC Sensation XE Z710eJB CyanogenMod 10 before, and there's no any mistake or any problem at all.
But recently i rarely use the phone and only use it for message and calling, sometimes forget to charge it, and one day, the phone is dead.
At first, the phone is dead , can charge, but it's really hot and when it boots up, touchscreen not working.
Then after a few days it's not charging at all, and phone can't boot at all, and i can't restore from backup too .
I have CWM installed, but if it can't boot, i can do restore.
So i plan to re flash the stock rom
But i don't know how to flash without CWM, can someone guide me?
which firmware, what RUU , which tools, what command to use?

First of all hi to everyone my problem is that when i try to apply an ota update for my htc desire 516 rus dual sim and every time i check for update it finds an update i download it and when i install it my phone reboots but it hangs at the htc logo i have tried leaving it at night and nothing it just shuts off after 3-4 hours i have also trying manual method but i cannot get into hboot menu my phone is not rooted is there a way to brute force the update btw my firmware is 4.3 but after it hangs i can take the battery out and it boots fine pls respond
