A download link for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for Android, I rubbed my eyes in disbelief. "That was not there several hours ago", I say to myself.

I am using a verizon play.

oh then i have no idea i use the stock browser to open that link up
(nvm for some reason i had to uninstall my Dolpin browser to install it but downloading now)

So this is the really rubbish version that has been on iOS for months, terrible which is a shame as the console/pc versions are fantastic.

So wait,this is just the demo correct?

I didnt get to play it..... I think it only gives u 60mins of play and it took me 2 hours to do the update lol soo idk how it plays, is it pretty cool? Does it play like rainbow six?

€5 = a little over $7 . If you use google.com just type 5 euro in and it will convert it to usd for you. I use google.co.uk and if i type 5 euro its auto converts it to £.

Yeah,it asked me to buy it after playing it for a while. Cost me $2.50.
The game is similar to RSSV,you can't sprint nor take cover.

I tried the demo, it looks ok, but the right analogue control was driving me insane, it either under responds or seriously over does it making targeting a real ass. Don`t think I`ll be buying this one.

modern combat 2 and brothers in arms 2 are way better games, dont get me wrong its good for a mobile phone game but i want the games to be better than the psps

No seriously, I have developed an nice little app that lets your android phone time how fast one can drink fluids! It uses your phones acceleration to sense when the table it lays on is being hit.
Usage: Lay phone on a table, hit the table once to start the stopwatch, then again to stop the time. One use is to time how fast one can drink fluids (beer chug game).
Or if you don't drink bear, then it's just a great stopwatch with a beer in the background!

I'd like to suggest some type of leader-board or someway to save high scores, for review the next day.

That is on the way! Not sure when im done with it. Thinking about give people able to register for referee rights so that they can verify times and upload them to a global scoreboard!

I got a tip about using facebook for scores. And a way to create local tournaments (aka at house party) with dedicated referees. Any thoughts?

If this is a serious question, there is a brief explanation in the app as well in the description.
You have a bottle/can of beer. You hit the table which the phone is running this app on and start to chug the beer. When you are done, you smack the can/bottle in the table and the timer stops.

I don't se why it shouldn't I have only tested it on a few phones but no one have reported it not to work.

Angry Birds Space HD & Premium?

I've downloaded the premium version of Angry Birds Space, before I saw the HD version of it. Now I'm wondering, is there any difference? I do not see where they could improve it, it runs just fine (not blurry at all) on my Transformer.

I'm curious about this myself. When the game first blew up on IOS, the HD version was for the iPad because the screen had considerably more resolution than the iPhone 3G. As far as what the HD version is for on Android (or even IOS for that matter, considering retina display) I would probably say it's a cash grab for suckers. I guess if you are really curious, you could buy it, check it out for a few minutes and uninstall it for a refund. If you decide to do that, let us know if there is anything significantly different about it.

Can't do that, don't have enough money left on the prepaid-card I used. Curious if someone with the HD version can perhaps compare it to the free one? If that's the same we know for sure Rovio is trying to screw us over here :/

The only HD version I've seen say Kindle Fire edition. Is there a generic HD version?

HAHAHA!!! I haven't found any bad pixelation yet so I assume it must all be more or less based on vector graphics. Maybe it also crashes less!?!!?

The game crashes on the 8th level of the first stage. Is anybody experiencing that? Transformer running stock ICS.

I've been having trouble with all the Angry Birds games since the ICS upgrade. Other games seem to work fine, but the Angry Birds games freeze sporadically. The actual tablet doesn't freeze because I can hit the home button and go back to the desktop. I'm guessing it could be an instability issue with the video driver for ICS maybe? Has anyone else noticed this happening?

There's a 99-cent premium version for that. The HD version also has no ads, but costs $3 and doesn't seem to be any sharper-looking.

I sent Rovio an e-mail requesting clarification. I'll update once (if) they reply.

2 new Gameloft games coming in the next month.... Nova 3 & Asphalt 7

As the title states. 2 new GL games coming soon. I have inquired to GL is they will be Xperia PLAY optimized and of course been waiting a week for Nova 3 and 2 days for Asphalt 7 without a peep from GL.... no surprise their customer service skills blow.... still its 2 new GL games.... heres to them hopefully being Xplay optimized and to not sucking

I wouldn't doubt that they're Xperia Play Optimized. While the quality is iffy, they've at least been somewhat diligent about trying to support the Xperia Play. My only worry is this horrible habit Gameloft's recently gotten into where they suck 5-40MB off the phone storage as "data" so that we can't move to the SD card (at least, not without going through partitioning hell)... that's murderous for a phone like ours that has 400MB.
Personally, what I wanna see is Max Payne, Monster Shooter and Stellacept Online in my database

NOVA 3 is supposed to drop any day now. Since Asphalt 7 is a GS3 launch title, I am sure we will see that at the end of the month.
I wonder if Rockstar has just forgotten about us Android gamers.

well i love nova since its a neat ripoff halo for mobile -> seeing it turns to crysis is even greater, but...how big are the chances that this game is not going to lag on our devices. after gangstar 3 and earlier MC3 lag updatecircle on-off, i dont that it will bring me fun instead of frustration. face it, its now like on pc, where good programming means **** instead of proper power devices to handle laggy codes.

As for MC3 the initial release was smooth. It was until not too long ago it lagged and had terrible controls due to an update. Still running itial.release and it's great. Always decline the update

On a side note, is getting MC3 throught GLs mobile store worth it? I've read on forums on MC3 that it still seems iffy and hard to play.

MC3 is unplayable for me, Controls suck and I went to touch controls. Don't play it much.

Burnout...sorry I mean 'Asphalt' is the only decent Gameloft game in my opinion. It's the only one I still play today.

Like poo-tang said it is the 3DS version but it has all the voice acting included too, which I think was included for the IOS version.

To much ios version was cheaper will wait when discounted

I'm sure this was expected but, no Xperia Play controls work except the O button, it will bring a prompt up asking you if you want to exit the app. It runs smooth though. I'm sure a GameKeyboard setup can make it more enjoyable?

Nexus 10
This is the only FF besides Dimensions that is compatible on Nexus 10. Happy to see this but not happy about the price. Whoever is in charge of marketing at Square Enix is about retarded.

Does anyone have any save files for this? All I've found online is the all item, etc hack but I'm looking for a regular save (around Troia after you lose the twins). I didn't know you could miss augments by not giving some to twins and don't want to restart game. Also can't find a save editor like there was for 3 and dimensions.
