Does anyone think this phone will go on sale for Black Friday? If so, where? Online? At AT&T stores? How much might it be discounted? With new contracts, upgrades, or no contracts? Let's get some crystal balls going
I doubt it. The discounts might probably only be on the accessories though. They released the phone too close to Black Friday...probably to avoid Black Friday deals on the Fuze.
I'm not sure one way or the other, but I'm holding off buying the Fuze until I see if there are any Black Friday deals. Let's face it, people aren't spending money these days, Circuit City is about to close it's doors; companies are doing whatever they can to get people to spend some money.
Dunno, but let's hope.

I picked up a Fuze at the AT&T Corp. store in Hickory, NC on Thursday. In the bag they put the Fuze box in was a flyer about their Black Friday Sale.
Special Hours & Special Offers - 7am to 10pm - Come before 10am for "Door Buster" Specials.
No more specifics but I'll be checking that morning to see if the Fuze is any less than what I paid.

Letstalk.com has a deal going on right now for the FUZE. Free after $99 rebate with new 2 yr contract or $249 with 2 yr contract for upgrade.... That's the best deal available right now for the fuze considering AT&T offers it for 199 after 50 rebate.

Where exactly on this ad are you seeing that Sears is selling it for this price this Friday and Saturday? I just bought mine this past weekend so I'm still in my 30 day window where I can go in and demand $30 back since I bought it for $379.99.

Their price protection is for 14days. I just got off chat with a sears rep and they say go into store and you will be taken care of.
I even told them I could return it and buy it at staples with the sears price.
I think we should be taken care of, I will be going down Fri or Sat with receipt in hand!

Just got off the phone with Sears and they had no clue what the hell I was talking about. Someone please verify which site that coupon comes from.
No G Tablet in my Sears ad
Got my paper here in N California this morning with the Sears ad for Friday and Saturday and there is no G tablet on sale in it.

Got into a fight at a sears tonight with manager because they didn't have my refurb when i got confirmation. ended up getting a brand new one price matched to the "refurb" price. It rang as 349.99 original price on the receipt if that helps anyone. This was in PA.

Is Sears as confused as we are?

Just call and ask them. Price they would charge will show up when they enter the sku. Sears is pretty good with coordinating prices with their adds.

Site looks pretty screwed up ATM. It shows $379.99 but when you click on it for the specific page it then shows $399.99 ...
Yeah, I did a price match to $379.99 on Monday as well instead of returning it.

Staples has an extended return policy through the holidays, and it includes electronics. You have 30 days minimum.

I bought before 11/26 though... the Monday before, i.e. 11/22 ... my price guarantee was marked as an "exchange" though (new receipt)... hmmm....

Please see post #5. Today only woot.com is selling them for 279.99 +5 for shipping. Was selling mine, but I won't compete with that price.
A couple of things...
No pictures is not good. I refuse to buy something I can't see.
I just ordered a brand new one for $350. Without seeing or knowing the condition of yours it would be hard for me to pull the trigger and choose yours over a new one where at least I understand where to return if needed.

go ebay for auction there is only 320-340 for one. Also u can buy the G tablet from China manufature just 300 usd for each including shipping, but they only accept a VIP group purchase something like 100 people a group, then they will give you a disscount.

Woot has them today for $279, and I have heard for awhile Sears Outlet has them for $279 as well. I have heard lots of bad things bout the G Tab so came here to research if I should pick one up to play with heh.

Wow...a few bucks more than a Nook Color. My wife and I already have those...But I couldnt' resist for this price. This thing sounds awesome.
Actually it's $279.99 + $5 shipping, makes a difference because I ordered 2 and they only charged the $5 once. (Perfect timing, my girlfriend just decided this was the tablet she wanted, and at that price I wanted one too.)
This is crazy, I just bought one of these on Amazon today for $100 more. Looks like I'll be sending that one back. This just saved me a $100, this is wonderful! Never heard of woot before now either, oddly enough seems they're owned by Amazon too.

They shouldn't be able to charge you for return shipping if you refuse delivery. If it's already arrived and you signed for/opened it you're probably too late though.
Just bought one. This will be my 2nd Gtablet which I'll use to flash ROMs. Better than SEARS outlet.
So do I buy one of these? I was holding out for an Android tablet that would run honeycomb and didn't come with a carrier contract.
The price seems so tempting.

I bought one from tigerdirect.ca on Sunday for $399CAD (received it Tuesday). I just emailed them and they're refunding me the $60 difference on the new price drop.

Exact thing happened to me. I missed their $20 deal by 1 day, bought it for $399 on Sun, got it a couple of days ago and today it's on for $60 less...
So what did you say to persuade them to give you the refund?

man i shoulda waited for this deal instead of jumping on woot. The shipping at tiger is dirt cheap in contrast to other etailers and I could expect the product to be shipped same day. Now since woot doesn't have a real order history that shows order status, I have to basically watch it like a hawk to see when my order ships because my area is high crime. Most packages get stolen if not immediately intercepted.
Buggah, can't order online for international delivery.
Have to make phone call.....

Many thanks to the OP and all who posted here. I did pick up one from Tiger Direct today using the posted code.
I dithered all day on the Woot deal finally telling myself not to buy version one of anything. Then was at Best Buy and played with the iPad one and two which sold me on the concept.
With Woot charging sales tax and Tiger not I will actually save about $2.

Just to note, it's a few more states than that:
"We only charge tax in FL, IL, NC, TX, GA, SD and ID"
(I knew they'd have to charge tax in IL because they have a warehouse in the Chicago burbs and have a couple stores as well)

I got mine on Friday at Walmart for $148 + tax. It came out to around $160-something. They also charge an $18 upgrade fee to your next bill. It's by far the cheapest you're going to get it anywhere. The next best place would be through amazon. Just know that I had to call 9 different Walmart's before I found one that actually had them in stock.
I paid 100 from the tmobile store. Got one for me and one for my fiancee at that price. Find a good sales person and bargain with them. I also got 40% off accessories for it and they covered 2 breaking contract fees from verizon.
How you guy guys bargain with them? Sorry, not used to bargaining with a store, usually haggle with deals on craigslist and stuff lol.
