[Q] Possible 2 install Sony Ericsson APKs & Widgets from Xperia Mini to other phones?
Hi all,
I very much liked SE's Android implementation.
I extracted all the phones (Xperia Mini Pro - not old x10) apps/apks.
I wanted to install some of their widgets - photo, music and the like.
But I keep getting the message application not installed (unknown sources is checked and phone is rooted).
I believe the widgets depend on other programs running, possibly timescape framework or similar SE frameworks.
Tried to install some Timescape apks and only one installed: TimescapeRssPlugin.apk....others with Timescape wouldn't.
I'm trying to install onto a Motorola XPRT phone - which has a less resolution than Xperia Mini Pro - not sure if it matters.
Can anyone please advise?

Is it possible prepare and porting some Sony Ericsson stuff for CyanogenMod 7 from zdzihu? I mean Timescape, xLoud, Bravia Engine and other stuff? I would be great to learn CyanogenMod these mods.
Not every stuff... but some of the stuffs... may be timescape ..
In fact, I want this for my Blade with CM7.1 ROM. But if some stuff works on CM7.1 on X10, propably works on my Blade too

I know this, but CyanogenMod is the same ROM for many devices on same base. Ever phone has only changes of technical base.
To Timescape. Older version of Timescape from this topic works well (even other plug-ins from Market works), but Twitter plugin doesn´t work now (propably changes in auth). I tried version from newest Arc firmware, but it´s problem with fonts in app - they are too small and black instead of white.
Bravia Engine and xLoud is bound to the SE hardware, or not? I think not.

Does the timescape widget work too?

On older version Timescape widget works with Arc launcher. On newer I´m not testing it.

anyone got the sony ericsson call screen from 2.3 for CM7?
Maybe this will interest you guys what I took from wb Rom and put on z cm7. Its only a few bits and used titanium back up for this simply by restoring

Hi all, just installed Arc launcher version 1 on my HTC inspire and i think i like it more than sense(!) I found somewhere on this forum the v2 of Sony Ericsson Launcher apk and i installed it as well but it keeps crashing.
Haven't someone thought to port all these apps to other android phones and most importantly all those rom makers who using third launcher to make their rom's interface suposedly diferent why they havent used sony's UI?

We got Hands on APKs from Xperia S including Launcher, some Widgets, Calendar and Music App and others.

unzip folder and start INSTALL.CMD
Should you install something from the package you don't want to simply delete the associated APK, the script then reports an error and just skips the Part
UNINSTALL: if one of the apps you no longer want to have, you can then simply uninstall the application manager of Android (Updates Uninstall). After that as usual the original version for disposal.

Im curious as to how they look before i install them. nevermind i got the idea from the original thread, doesnt look all that much improved to me, but maybe i missed some details since i dont speak German. (i know its actually not German, but i couldnt spell the proper name!... lol)

Confirmed working on on .42 stock
about half of these fail to install on my r800x. I get "Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_MISSING_SHARED_LIBRARY]"
I've installed the music player here. The Xperia S music player's is beautiful, more smart too, but lacks equalizer... I thought it had been use same stock equalizer, but hasn't a button to activate it. Very strange...

Nice music player and it has equalizer for sure but it open equalizer app (look in market)
So there must be dedicated equalizer.apk for music player right?

why when i start install.cmd my device cannot found? R800i

When using this launcher and restarting my phone it hanged at the carrier logo and randomly decided to launch or not launch - anybody else have this problem?
Are all these apps included in the home.apk? or are they separate? All I see is the home.apk

Equalizer gone.
Hi Guys, I installed the xperia play music apk and i found it to force close every time. I tried to install the old music app again but found the equalizer missing from the music app now. Please suggest what to do now ? Also can you tell me why the music apl from Xperia S kept on fore closing ? Thanks !
When i try to install i got this error "[INSTALL_FAILED_MISSING_SHARED_LIBRARY]" for "MusicWidget.apk AND "PhotoWidget.apk"". So why is that? How do i fix it. I attached the screenshot. Please check it.

I had the Touch Block beta successfully running on my Xperia Z1, but the same apk on my new Z1 Compact (couldn't get on with the big size!) just seems to force close, don't supposed anyones seen a version for the Z1 Compact?

Apparently it used to crash because it was only for a certain version of Android.
My Z1 Compact (unrooted, stock) has updated to KitKat 4.4.2 recently which according to the whole internet "Touch block Small app included", but it's not on mine.
Does anyone have an apk of it I can install? (If anyone else even has one of these phones going by how quiet this forum is!)
