Galnet MIUI ICS Build for Htc Desire sGalnet ICS build for Desire s(saga) - HTC Desire S

Any one know wer to get ICS miui Alpha buils 2 they have just released

That is a release available only for "groupie", that is, some members that paid to have a special status there. All the users that are not groupies will have to wait till a public beta will be released. I don't think that someone who paid will be sharing those versions for free...and somehow that is correct.

thank you for ur infrmation

HI im not sure if i am correct but heres the link to the galent miui ICS builds and the latest build number is 2.11.26 i used this all day without no problems

Yes, same is here.

Guys it was written here and also on GALNET's site. If you have bootloops with the ICS builds (the stable 2.11.26), you should first wipe (data/cache) and flash one of the nightlies or the weekly ICS build (1.11.9) and only after that flash the stable 2.11.26 WITHOUT wipe over it. That way you won't get bootloops

Everything went fine now, but after flashing, radio is completely dead (newes stock radio)

Same problem with shrike001... I have no signal when I install the stable version.
But I had it when I was on weekly version!

That's why I went back to the previous ICS beta. On stable, I had to select operator each time after a reboot to have network. Don't know why

[Q] system update 4.0.4 with teamos 1.0 rom

Hello, i installed the teamos rom stable a week ago, and i'm very surprised to receive what it seems like an official update to 4.0.4. So i have a few questions :
1. Is it safe to accept this update ? I mean without loosing the teamos features ?
2. Could the teamos propose its updates the same way ?
Thank you
1. No. You will end up in a boot loop.
2. They don't have that capability to my knowledge.

Nope. I would not attempt it.
How do we get rid of the update notification if we are running TeamEOS or Other custom ROM?
Yea I am having the same issue with cyanogen. 9 rom. Anyway to bypass it
Sent from my HTC sensation 4g using Tapatalk
you need to get the paid version of Titanium Backup and freeze the android updater process to prevent the update notifications.
Edit.. well this worked on my phone to get rid of the notifications.. but i cant find the program that does it on CM9.. so i dont know

4.0.4 can be found in n75 here http://goo-inside.me/devs/teameos/roms/nightlies/stingray/ the nightly's are more stable than 1.0 rom and 4.0.4 runs great on EOS n75.

I agree the solution would be to upgrade to a 4.0.4 teamos version. Maybe they could tag this as a 1.5 stable So « simple users» like me wouldn't be afraid.
The problem still exists since a new 4.0.5 OTA would cause the same problem......

system update 4.0.4 with teamos 1.0 rom
I would never try to perform an official OTA update after a custom from has been installed. That is just asking for trouble. You also mentioned that you were running team eos's rom. I can tell you first hand experience, I've been a very loyal team EOS from user for my Xoom for several months and typically load every nightly they put out for my model. The reason I point this out, is because most times the developer roms xda are actually much further along than the official updates. The biggest example is the fact that ICS is not available officially from Motorola/Verizon as of yet. Plus you get so many features and functions you will likely not see in the official builds.
Others - feel free to help me explain, agree, disagree, etc....
Good luck,
®obert
I've tried many, and I mean many roms, mods, and themes. Hands down - Team EOS is the single most exciting, knowledgeable, helpful and down right customer oriented in the Android Development groups.

Couple noob questions about AOSP

From what I understand, AOSP if the stock version of Android released by google. Is this correct? Also, what is the difference between AOSP and AOKP? The reason I posted this in the One S forum is because I was wondering if there is going to be an AOSP ROM realeased anytime soon.
Thanks.

A little googling would answer your questions--
But, kinda yes to the first one. Check out above aokp link above for explanation of aokp project.

But, kinda yes to the first one and it is my understanding AOKP is a newer term for the kanging of stock aosp roms. Not sure what requirements must be met to be an AOKP rom. I think it is being ICS 4.0.4.

Are there currently any AOSP or AOKP ROMs for the One S?
Yes, there is a release of AOKP for the One S. It is currently on the most up-to-date build, released today (b40).
Anyways, the One S is classified as the "ville". If you look at www.aokp.co, you can see that release for ville. You'll need to be unlocked (via HTCdev) and you need to have TWRP recovery installed (currently 2.1.8).

if you are new to flashing android i would strongly recommend reading OP page and first/last 20 pages of thread and be familiar with android sdk adb/fastboot. it will make everything easier
when wiping phone before flashing roms, wipe system also--

Isn't 1.09 capable of flashing kernels?
It just turned itself off after a few seconds into boot. the hw keys lit up for a few seconds, but it just ended up rebooting. I should mention I was using rohan's latest kernel.
I'll edit my original post, and try again with the stock kernel after classes.

That's actually what I'm doing as I type lol, just rebooted into recovery
EDIT:
Booted just fine, I didn't know it was based on cm9, hence the kernel issues lol. This rom is slick. Best of both worlds, MIUI themes and everything else cm9. Fast too.
Wish it was based cm10 though, then it would be perfect.
Thanks for trying it out. Its based on CM9 at the moment. We have the CM10.1 port ready but we need to do proper testing before we release.
It will be available next week if everything goes well.
