hate to be that guy, but can you tell us the original name for both files?
unzipping and renaming it is quite a bad idea, it's a waste of bandwith and some information got lost in the process, just saying.

I wiped and flashed the sbf but Swype says it's 2.25.67.18335. I had 3.4.3 before.
I downloaded from the posted mirror, maybe builds got confused? My phone says its 3.4.3-3 not 11.

No I had to patch it with files from a US ROM.

You can also rip out the bp_nvm_default files manually from whatever ROM that works in your region.

Thanks to the OP for highlighting the new sbf
I've just flashed this sbf 3.4.3-11 after having the previous UK froyo 3.4.2-117.
All seems OK at the moment no issues at all & everything seems to be working.
I've rooted & overclocked & with the same settings in Setvsel as I had in the last version a quick quadrant test with all the usual MotoBlur running showed as:
3.4.3-11 score of 1421
3.4.2-117 score of 1364
eclair 2.21 score of 1254.
Will report back in a few days after I've had a chance to run it for a while to see how it compares with the previous froyo.

Best rom. Voice search works. Nu bugs. All options in settings.
But why in 2.2 flip to mute and tap to silent are miasing?

I am sure you all want the new "i9103 Galaxy R Android 2.3.6 ZSKK5 Taiwan November Release 5".
It has TWM TGY KOR CWT BRI csc.

First of all, do a CWM backup of the rom on your device.
Download, use Odin to put it on your i9103.
If you do not know your IMEI, go to Phone, call *#06# and write down your IMEI.
Then go to Phone and call *#272*IMEI#
It will ask you what CSC you want.
Do NOT take TWM (Taiwan Mobile) or CWT (Chunghwa Telecom Taiwan).
Take BRI or TGY or KOR. Click Install.
Enjoy Android 2.3.6 November Release 5!
After installing the Samsung Music Hub, this ROM is like the English European ROM, but with Android 2.3.6 updates.

Yes it will wipe user data so make a backup if you have something you do not want to lose.

Do I need to change my CSC? I dont understand the process, first I need to change CSC and then I must use Odin to flash the tar file, Am I right? If I just flash without changing CSC would I brick the R?

Afaik drivers are in the Kernel. If you go back to the 2.3.4 rooted kernel then you won't find any new ones. Only enhacements in the ROM (which of course is nice)

I wrote flashing with Odin before changing csc. You can not change to a csc that you do not have. You change to a csc that this ROM installs.
It is not so easy to brick the R. I even recovered from many flash write errors.
You change the csc to have the new rom installed in a perfect way. After changing the csc the way I described, everything is reset and reinstalled, so you have the new ROM clean and pure like a virgin.
After the CSC change you have a new, unbranded, untouched, virgin, stock "Samsung i9103 Android 2.3.6 November Release 5".

You are right. I suggest you build a new root kernel based on the new kernel (like ardatdat did for the older kernel) and share it with us.

Yes we do not have a better root kernel yet.
Yes I am using KK5 and I will stay with it.
Did not have time to do benchmarks with it.
A difference I noticed in 2.3.6 is that the home screen is a infinite loop like the apps screen.

I've been reading in the chinese forums that issue, on KK5 rotation fails... theres no perfect fw...
What I think is there is no rule for bugs, one time the appear , other they dont... my radio fm sometimes shuts down automatically , not always but It happens (2.3.4)

Hi. I searched for the last build form my P8max. I have some issues with whatsup, not showing notifications, with the smart cover etc...
After this update, all of them are gone. I have the european version. But it worked flawless.

the 005 will not install, i try it 5 times, but always he not go to 100%, after 60/70% it comes failed.
I have 701L ... but the phone is now running, but in settings/motioncontrol i have only a white blank page.

I have it turned on, but just all the apps say not supported. No biggie though, just curious... now if only I could fix all these notification issues -_-. best phone i've ever head besides that.

I just did it, no problems so far and i dont see any major changes.

Didnt see any major changes aswell.

No toItWith the HiSuite on Romania, it didnt find me anything. Just the suite was on china, the system was in english

Not in hisuite.. He changes region in hicare app. Which came preinstalled from honor.

One last thing, clear cache and data from hicare and try again. If its still not working, just wait it.

I bet he doesnt have AL but european device...

When I change the region to China, it does change but there is this popup displaying me to use "Huawei ID made in China" everytime I access hicare app.
Also, do I need to do anything else, except changing region on hicare?

No, i just changed, entered hicare, went to update, and i got a chinese msg and selected the right option and then it went to the update window and told me that i got a new update.
I didnt have any problem with the huawei id. Mine is for Romania.

Yeah I hope so.. Anyway somewhere I saw a snapshot but it was showing update file of 3 gb with gpu turbo . Weird!!
I wonder how Huawei fit the GPU update on 640 mb haha
