Looks like the alpha that Kmobs supposedly sent to someone. It was mentioned in one of those threads, but the post and the link to youtube was taken down.

Yeah, its Trips build. Trip was banned from XDA a little while ago and stopped all development over at MoDaCo because Kmobs disproved a lot of what Trip said his ROMs had, like full hardware acceleration. Then Trip edited the title to his ICS thread and called Kmobs a winker.

Well...It's an alpha build,so i didn't expect much.At least we had a chance to play with ICS on our Sensation.

Now, is he doing a proper ICS build or more of a frankenstein "ducktape" style build? After reading what Kmobs said, it looks like Trip is putting together a ROM using all sorts of stuff rather than what he is supposed to be doing.
Its so hard to figure out what exactly is going on. I also dont understand how Kmobs could be doing so well (or so we are told) and then see Trip having such a hard time.

even am being eagerly waiting for ics build(a stable one),... lets just give the boys a lil time to perfect the builds,... am not a dev nor have any kind of knowledge about it apart from basic rooting, flashing n all read the noobs guide stuff involved(as most of the users r!!!),.. so y dnt v just flash the rooms released n b happy than,... creating freaking bootloop war ,...

Okay, so first thing first, the kitchen is awesome. I'm surprised no one else has jumped onto it.
Secondly, I know I have to fix up other ROMs to pure awesomeness, but school is buttraping me and I barely have time to do anything that actually requires thinking.
That all being said, I want to launch my own open beta team. I don't have all the time to test everything and fix everything on my own. As part of the beta team, you can test and even send in fixes for the ROM. Sadly I have to depend on others ATM, but school is soon coming to a close and it gets terrible at this time.
Now with the good stuff
This ROM is another port, it's a modified version of Sense 2.1. Came from the Desire HD. Still cooking right now, but I'll be out with it in a few moments (assuming it works; if it doesn't, we try a new ROM. )
It's coming soon, so be patient! And if you'd like to beta test, help, drop hints, or anything, just say so, all help is appreciated

hey good luck with it.. i have just ported this myself and it has issues that r kernel related. this rom is uses ext4 make sure u edit ur ramdisk, u need to make init.glacier.rc for ext3 or else it will not boot. camera is really choppy and lacking trackpad wake.. i didnt go much further with testing... so if u need help with anything let me know, ill be happy to do what i can

Dude, I love you. (no homo). But you posted that too late. I flashed it and it didn't boot so I wen't back to my other ROM (just to sit there). I'll try that out, this ROM was incredibly sexy.

Well I can't release it yet :x it doesn't boot.. If I release it, I'd be making your devices a shiny fixable paperweight (although this does make a good paperweight).. I can't remember where i had even seen init.glacier.ro .. the kitchen does most of the work, but getting it to boot is my job.. once it at least boots, I'll release it hopefully it'll be by tonight. After that, I'll head back to RCMixGlacier to fight round two with the camera.

The RCMixGlacier went pretty well, minimal issues. This on the other hand is an ass kicker.
If you're looking testers, I'd be happy to jump on board... Just learning to use the kitchen myself, but will give you all the help I can...

what kernel r u using? did u modify the ramdisk correctly? it will boot, i alread had it booted...

As Keyan Mobli said in his Google + profile, CM 7's 1st release for the Sensation & the EVO 3D apparently will land some point this weekend as an "Early Alpha". Apparently the camera issue that was holding the CM team back from releasing the ROM is now sorted and we should be expecting the release this weekend. Keyan Mobli or "Kmobs" also took a 1080p video with his CM7 Sensation for us to see, and everything seems fine
Finally, a CM7 thread that makes me happy.
Old news not breaking news......thread in general already discussing this topic.......got to be quicker next time.....this is XDA..

i swear i 'd 've posted this like at least 5 mins earlier but a mac security update came up and my router 's been unstable for a while. To be honest i turned my data on, on my sensation and enabled the hotspot to post the thread, but my MBP rebooted after the update and the wifi was back on so .. yeah

the relevant threads that 'd popped up when i was making the thread had nothing to do with the sensation. and the one thread that's about this aint exactly about this post/these news so i figured its something people actually want to know and a new thread 'd help more than a random post in another more generic thread. anyway, i don't care about post count or whatever i just wanted to share the news.
edit: its news about one of the most anticipated custom ROMs, where should it be posted, in the theme & apps or in the accessories section ?

I think i remember something like this myself, yeah.
from what I understood from kmobs google plus post it was the 1080p video recording that was not working correctly but it seems to have been resolved I cant wait for this.
Like many of you, I've been waiting for this before I even bought the Sensation. I really, really am excited!

If I understand correctly this is just a binary release soley because of the kernel.org hack right? once those servers go back up source will be posted? I also believe 1080p was what was holding them back. By "alpha" I can only assume they mean nightly status which we all know cm nightlies are pretty solid

I've been running CM7 after swearing that I would never go AOSP. Have a nice ICS look and it's been incredibly stable. I'm looking forward to the added functionality of a true ICS rom. For all of it's faults HC on my GTab 10.1 has been out of this world. Can't wait for ICS on that bad boy!

CM has already synced with the official Android source tree for ICS and are starting work on CM9.
^^ Was just gonna say this. Cyanogen posted on twitter earlier today: "..and we're off. check back in 2 months #cm9 #ics"

I already restored back to my bionix reloaded build sorry... just boot it up on your own, you cant do any harm by flashing it for a bit...
its literally an AOSP build... 4.0.1 (with a bunch of other digits after)... same old kernel... sound doesnt work so you can even make phone calls... its a mess to say the least...
and i doubt it would be fully working since we still dont have tegra2 drivers from nvidia... 2.2 to 2.3 is a doable fix, 2.3 to 4.0 is no beuno... nvidia or LG has to throw us a bone on this one...

Well I tried it and it works just cant get a data connecting 2g 3g or wifi. it was cool though having ICS for a minute!
this one didnt have the onscreen buttons too!
Cant wait for this to be put on this device. Tried a Galaxy Nexus at the local store and was amazed at the software. I would get one of those but seriously Tegra 2 is better than sgrx 540, Trust me that GN can not do what this G2x can in terms of gaming!

I was having a bad day and saw no one give me credit for my work even though as someone pointed out we all kang one another, we kang HTC we kang. Just have to be sure to give credit. Sometimes people become too emotionally involved in something for the wrong reasons.
You flipped out here, but this wasn't what was bugging you - no, don't expand on what it was because it's not for any of us to know.
That you came back and apologized for your outburst shows a lot about your character, because you do want to be a part of this and realize that arrogance is the wrong path, so, while I didn't involve myself in any of it and didn't really focus on it, I am glad to see you coming back to play with us.
What you posted before to prompt this apology was a weight dragging the doubleshot community back into the petty mudslinging and hatred this place in particular has worked so hard to bury and grow out of - this isn't some offhand I'm sorry but a recognition of just how counter to the spirit of XDA your actions were.
I accept your apology and hope to see some cool stuff from you when you get the chance, though I am only one person and wouldn't presume to speak for the community .

Why is the Doubleshot dying? It needs an offical ICS. What would be nice is Virt. Inq. But based off the a stock DS ICS rom. So we could have TV-Out, and our *****en camera.

Honestly I'm not looking forward to ICS or cm9, neither have impressed me one bit. The AOSP camera is worse than stock IMHO, also the newer Sense ROMS removed carousel which is a joke. So I guess I'm not really happy where HTC is taking things.

yup..been had one for a bit then it broke and i was stuck on a wp7 but i got another one now..i have a mikrom to post but been busy working on another rom lol sorry..mikrom is optimized stock and im working on one v port which is like 75-80%

Honestly I'm not looking forward to ICS or cm9, neither have impressed me one bit. The AOSP camera is worse than stock IMHO, also the newer Sense ROMS removed carousel which is a joke. So I guess I'm not really happy where HTC is taking things.

I hated that sense carousel! I got rid of that as quick as I could with a launcher.

Well the Sense carousel I'm talking is the full Sense 3.0 from like the Sensation or EVO 3D, not the generic mySense the DoubleShot got tortured with. Even still I love Sense to much to let go of my widgets. I have a PhotoGrid dedicated to my little girl. So no matter where it goes I'm sure to follow in a way
