Any apps to temporarily disable Back button?
I find the Back button really annoyance when using S-Memo, often the side of my palm is touching Back button thus resulting S-Memo to close.
Or perhaps if there is apps to rotate S-Memo 180 degrees, so Back button won't be at the place where we rest the side of our palm when using S-Memo
Thanks
I found the apps to rotate S-Memo 180 degrees, it is called "Orientation Control", I bought it and tested on my Galaxy Note, it worked and can rotate 180 degrees, however the pen tip is off from what appear on the screen when writing, so it is pretty useless to address this issue (I think it is due the pen is calibrated to be used in normal orientation screen, not upside down orientation)
I guess the only way is to find apps to disable "back" button temporarily.

i second that request.
Pretty annoying to keep hitting that back button when drawing.
I don't get it . S memo rotates if the auto rotate screen is enabled , and when you push back button it saves it automatically . It does not rotate 180 but 90 should do it
No, I am not referring to screen rotate but on hitting back button accidentally when we are writing/drawing something on portrait mode.
I was thinking if we could rotate S-memo 180 degrees then there is no back button to bother with as our side of the palm will then rest on the opposite side of back button.
Of course if you are using landscape mode for writing/drawing on S-memo then there is no back button to bother with.

it does annoy me too. is there a way to stop it when I run S Note.
just put your palm and don't remove it from the screen, and then start drawing , I've tried it and never takes me out of the page.
hope it works with you.

Is it a possibility to show landscape view when my device's orientation is initiated via either auto rotation (i use gyrator) or through a shortcut (like assigned to a button). As far as i know the landscape page only pops up when you slide the keyboard open but i would like it to show also when i turn my device sideways initiating the auto rotate function from gyrator..

I get landscape view just fine when i'm using gyrator, so i'm not sure why you wouldn't be getting it.

Did you create an event for it? When I rotate the screen with Gyrator then it always ends up in portrait version of TF3D (rotated by 90 degrees) which is messed up.
When you rotate your TP do you get the landscape version of TF3D?
you can also set a long press of the phone key to cause a screen rotation manually: http://www.fuzemobility.com/?p=1200
yah that's what I get not the 8 button view like the hardware keyboard causes when slid open
so nobody solved this problem yet ? I would like to use auto rotate too but still with no succes...
Hey everyone. I was looking around to try to find out how to get the Sense 4 home screens (and lock screen) to rotate and, while failing to find a setting to do it, found this.
Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devasque.rotationlocker
When you launch the app, long press "Auto" and it will run a background service to auto rotate the screen. Note that hitting "Landscape" made it rotate so the bottom of the screen faced the volume keys and would not rotate the other way (at least that's how it is for me).
I've not been using the S-Pen the way i thought i would. The reason for it is because i often have problems that my palm accidently touched the notification bar or that my hand triggers a gesture set in GMD Gesturecontrol.
So what i'm looking for is a way for the device to register if the s-pen is near the screen and then deactivate gestures or even go full screen so i can't hit the notificationbar.
Has anyone found a App that can do something like that.
I know there are Apps that give a trigger for when the s-pen is detached, but i'm often holding the pen and still use my fingers for pressing buttons, so i'm not looking for that.

i thought that the Note 10.1 itself disable finger touchs when the s-pen is near the screen, isn't it @@
I thought so too, however, when holding the pen near the screen gestures still work.
Hi,
is it possible to Rotate the Screen 180 Degree?
I want to wear the watch on the right Hand and have the Buttons on the Left Side!
Greetings
I read through the entire owners manual and I did not see anything about switching it. I even tried putting it on my right arm and it didnt recognize being rotated nor did the wake up command work correctly. Unless I'm missing something I don't see a way.
Thank you but this is really disappointing
No option to toggle left or right hands (only right). Silly since Gear Fit can do it.
S22 Ultra has huge screen and I would like to use it in landscape orientation always, is there a way to set it permanently ?
I have already tried 'Turn your phone the orientation you want it to stay in and then lock it with the auto rotate button from the quick panel. You can lock it in either portrait or landscape that way.'
and didn't work for me, here is the video https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...orientation-permanently.4411873/post-86533919
one approach: use bixby routines and set to rotate to landscape for all apps on open

I dont see trigger for screen unlock
Is this not an option in the pull-down toggles anymore? I'm still waiting for my S22U to come in, but on my S8 you can pull down and get a "Auto-Rotate" toggle. You'd enable that, rotate the screen the way you want it, and then tap it again -- the text would then change to "Portrait" or "Landscape" and the rotation would be locked in.
Turn your phone the orientation you want it to stay in and then lock it with the auto rotate button from the quick panel. You can lock it in either portrait or landscape that way.
@itsXpanD and @AndroidNO0B i have tried this, once i lock the screen in landscape and go back. it returns to portrait.

Search your settings for landscape and the rotate to landscape option near the bottom.

(had to record with other mobile as as screen recording gets stopped when locked.)
managed to make it happen
this is what I was missing.
Huh, that's interesting. Seems to be a more recent addition, there was no long-press menu on OneUI 1.0 yet. Glad it's working now!
