Sense roms - HTC Desire S

I know this has probably been asked plenty of times, but I'm bored of cyanogenmod (again) and wanted people's opinions on the best as we seem to be getting a lot of official support now. Which sense rom is your favourite and reasons why please?
I've had my fun with ICS and am now waiting for a stable release so no ICS recommendations for ICS please.

Choice of ROM is a very personal thing but at the moment I am using Endymion v3 and am extremely happy with it. It just seems to work, and I use it heavily for work - Bluetooth, Wireless, Calls, SMS, Camera, GPS etc

I've seen Endymion as the best choice and I would've switched back to it but the list has grown since I flashed Endymion which is why I wanted to know which people prefer now.

I'm Endymion V3 and just wouldn't consider anything else to be honest .The help and support lowveld gives is amazing

i also use endymion v3 if i had the delight to use sense

I use Endymion 2.2 with the fixes from 3.0. I only like the stock look, so don't feel the need to theme and lose 200+mb.
It's all personal preference!

+1 to endymion v3 here too!! great sense 3.5 rom, excellent battery life and awesome tweaks!
The only gripe I have is the the sense 3.5 dockbar, I find it ugly and somewhat blown up, especially with the text (applications, personalization)
kept changing between the two-button bliss bar and stock 3.5 bar and couldn't settle on either
hope someone would make a sense 3.0 /2.1 dockbar mod for it!!

Is there a way to sense 3.5 rom has a normal font for the screen of our Desire S? Small fonts is something that annoys me a lot, and see how Rhyme rom only has something like that, but it seems that unfortunately proxuser left development of the Rom :/

Yeh.. I sort of got used to it now though
However when I went to use a Desire S in the store again, 2.1 sense, the icons and fonts were massive!! I was like wow!!
Also I used the Sensation XL, and sense 3.5 looks lovely on it, the icons are all giant and easy to see!

Yes. Beautiful Widgets (paid app) has one similar. MIUI's weather/clock widget looks similar if you like the iOS look.
I've achieved the best battery life from MIUI (OC'd to 1.2ghz) with cattleprod's cyan04.7 Kernel running JuiceDefender. It's what I ended up sticking with after trying quite a few.
Personally, I love the look and feel of iOS so the added functionality of Android and much better battery life than stock is everything I could ask for.

CrystalPyramid with unity v3 beta 2 kernel. Beast. Keeping it for a while, definitely.
In fact iam using CoreDroid Sensation, because it is well looking to me. I hope it will be better soon, I used it on my dhd and I like the eye candy as well.
I actually tried Android Revolution HD but I don't like the stock style.
I think CoreDroid Sensation will be very fine with the Kernel from LeeDroid and some gimmicks like panorama what iam really missing this time. Why htc don't implement such a function into stock? weird.

I saw the sneak peak video of CM7 on the Sensation and I'm super excited. The only thing that would hold me back from using CM7 on the Sensation would be the camera. I loved CM7 on my Desire, but the camera was terrible.
Sticking with LeeDroid for the time being but I am curious to see how that ROM based on 2.3.4 runs.

Whats your favorite Sense 3.5 rom?

I wanna move up to Sense 3.5, and tried a rom (I forgot which one) and it was horrible. Now, I wanna give them another go.

AS many others, I prefer the InsertCoin ROM (mainly because of the battery savings).
Android Revolution HD or Energy which is better?
I prefer insertcoin. For me it feels faster and battery life seems improved compared to ARHD.
I use ARHD myself, test them all myself. They all have there plus and minus but for a T-Mobile user its a simple as flash and go . I haven't had to screw around with flashing radios and such either with this ROM. I also use SPB mobile shell on all Android devices so no matter which phone I grab , throw my sim card in or which tablet I grab my shell is always the same as well as the placement of all my icons, folders, programs etc. Thanks to titanium backup and a few other tweaks. If you haven't taken a look at SPB shell in a while it might be time to take another look , they have come a long way since win-6.5 days.
Later.

best sense 3.5 rom

hi guys,
would you mind sharing your preferred sense 3.5 rom?
This is for the wife's phone so it's more fore stable rom for daily use.
Thanks
InsertCoin worked well when I tried it. I'm staying put with Sense 3.0 though, because Sense 3.5 doesn't play nicely with using Exchange ActiveSync with Gmail (although that might not matter in your case).
To be honest though, Sense 3.0 looks nicer to me.. Sense 3.5 just seems black and white everywhere, even when using the Blue sky theme..

almost all are reliable, and basically it will come down to a personal decision about which one you like the look of most.
I am using LeeDROiD SuperSensational V4.0.0 . Fast and stable.
I would definitely have to say Bulletproof, I have tried other 3.5 roms and I kept getting freezing and f/c. Bulletproof is the only one without errors

Using SENSEaY 2.0.0 myself. It'd been top notch for me, except for 1 nagging issue. Some apps in the market will tel me they aren't compatible with my device. Not even hardware reliant apps. I'm talking apps like Yelp and TripIt. lol

Bulletproof is the best. No bugs whatsoever. Roman is a great dev.
I agree on the bulletproof...best rom i've used to date on my Sensation(and I've tried most of them) Not saying others are bad but something about BP just felt right...stable..nice extras...and for me the real thing that kept me using it was my ridiculously amazing battery life. I'm a heavy user on my phone(it doesn't leave my hand) and I'd easily get 13+ hours without a charge. Usually I'd just through my phone on the charger before I went to bed and it was just hitting the red.

[Q] By Rooting, Will i lose Beats Audio ?

I was waiting for a stable release of CM9 which came weeks back and i downloaded it on the same day itself.
I love love love the Sense UI, the lockscreen and way i get music, missed calls and messages over it which has been restraining me from rooting along with the new black notification bar !
Another thing holding me back is that after rooting and flashing CM9 I will most definitely lose the Beats Audio Integration right ?
So...suggestions ?
If you love Sense, dont switch to Cyanogen. Its nothing like Sense.
But you will still benefit from rooting. And if you want to upgrade your user experience try out some of the other Sense based roms that will let you keep Sense and Beats and give you more stability and options

Yeah, Sense 4 is better, love the dialer especially Anyways, can i have the pure sense 4 look from the Viper ROM ?
I know and have read a lot that it is one of the best and stable ROM for sensations but i dont really like the blue-blue tinge to everything and the altered lock-screen. But, i know this only from the 3-5 screenshots i have seen of it....i am relying on you all to explain it to me (or you could post the thread which has more screenshots than the official thread)

Thank you for your compliment! always nice to hear my work is appreciated. But unfortunately, its only for the viperS (sensation) or viperX (one x) ROMs.
As for pure sense 4, viper has it. The screenshot you prob saw was the AOSP lockscreen you can switch to in the tweaks. It's the standard lockring from 3.6 otherwise. As for the blue tinge, I'm not quite sure what you're referring to. There's no blue tinge to anything I've seen while using the ROM. Just flash it to try it out. You won't be disappointed!!!
I think you have seen the blue then from jerrytans all in one theme, just flashing viper s alone gives you a really stock sense 4 feel by default
