It's a stock heavily modified ROM , if CIQ was there it would detect it & CIQ is known to be in the Framework , .jar files , Contacts.apk & kernel , you don't have to be on a stock ROM bro .

Unfortunately, you can't get it because it only works on Gingerbread roms. Sorry dude.

if memory serves correct, its built into the gingerbread framework. That would be cool though to be able to use it on a froyo rom.

Lists LGP999 in the list. I hope this is what we want.
Here's my issue: My phone is from Wind Mobile in Canada. The only choice inside the app for carrier is T-Mobile which then lists the LG-P999DW. I don't want to brick my phone. It doesn't say it must be from that carrier, but the model only shows when you select it. I assume there's no connection except for user friendliness in the update app (yeah right, check out that Engrish).
It gives a few precautions and whatnot (charge full, remove SD)... Someone give it a shot and see what it updates!
This mobile support tool is typically used for drivers. I expect a notification for GB.
Can anyone confirm or deny this?
When you do the model name search "LGP999" it says Upgrade is available.
At work without my USB cable. Could this possibly be the fixes without the gb upgrade?

hi, im new to the g2x i just got mine today from tmobile and it came preloaded with gingerbread on it. i was trying to install the optimus 2x weather app on my phone. i put it on my sd card then used astro file manager to install it. now it said it installed successfully and then i went to my widgets from the home screen and the weather app isnt there. do i have to be rooted or something to get it to work? also is there any root for the stock gingerbread rom? thanks

I have flashed the I997UCKK1 rom and used DooMLoRD_v1_ROOT-zergRush-busybox-su to get root.
Seems to work well at the moment.

Looks pretty good thanks! I reinstalled the ROM and it is a little better, but I think more sensitive to positioning than other modem/roms. May just be me.
