[THEMES] Mixer *Modified & Stock = Tsugi+Weapon+Bionix [UPDATE 1-23-12] - T-Mobile LG G2x

Formerly known as Colorized Androidian, the name has changed for 2 reasons:
1. It was simply to long
2. Their are androidian aspects of the theme, but their are a ton of other aspects & images, so it should rightly be called Mixer, where it originated from.
-Im working on Bionix and jboxers theme right now

-Thanks to wewoapsiak also who got me interested in themeing! Hope you dont mind i borrowed the 'Colorized' name. lol

Looking good bmann! I've always liked the printed circuit board look. No worries, I got the colorized name from someone else

Thanks guys
And thanks wewo, yea i just started getting into it last week actually. Got tired of boring layouts. Especially on new roms
But I tried about a half a dozen times to get this to work with zipthemer as a metamorph to no avail. I dont get it, but I have the files setup to just drop in the framework and systemui for every new release. Maybe we can chit chat about seeing what im doing wrong lol
And Yea, im not even using my own site for my files now that i downgraded my bandwidth =/

I made a version for Weapon 3.0_R1 if anybody is interested in testing it for me! If nobody does in a day or 2, I will swap ROM's to test it. I will be releasing this theme for all the 2.3.3 & .4 Roms. Along with a stock theme also.

Very nice theme. A nice add on to the Tsugi ROM. Thanks for making it available!

Man I know I've said it before on the other forum, but this is without a doubt my favorite theme! It's actually grown on me the last couple of days and I've already had a couple of compliments on it. Thanks for this theme I'll definitely keep an eye out for your work because you've got some mad skills for sure. Is there anything in the works for the same theme just in different colors? I'm beyond happy with this one either way but I'm a huge fan of green so this theme in green would be unbelievably awesome (for me anyway ). Either way man thanks again I'll be donating soon.

Ha, thanks I definitely cant take credit for the images though. It was from on of MrDSL's Mixer themes for cm7 t-mobile theme engine. But the difference between a cm7 theme and a theme for a regular rom is like the difference between a rotary engine and a regular engine.. Kind of annoying, but worth it.
Hell im only about 70% of the way through the whole port right now. And also you are in luck. I believe their is a version of all theme images that are green. Just have to port it lol.

Thank you great work. I am loving the theme. Unfortunately I am not seeing you great icons for apps, like Maps. I am relatively new to themes. Do I need to enable/disable something to see the new app icons? The message bar matches your screenshots, just not things like maps, market etc.
Thanks again....

Ahh, the actual icons i'm using are from ADW Launcher using yOrk's blue ADW theme. Sorry, the theme has no icons yet.

Is there any way for the theme to make the notification toggles the same blue that the other things are? Everything looks amazing either way though.
Edit:
Any luck getting the dialer themed?
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium

Yes, I was actually going to work on the quickpanel icons right after I got a fully functional stock theme. Then work on the exra additions, then the dialer
Also I have noticed their has been enough downloads for the weapon version, does anybody have any info on that as to work-ability?

Updated the stock theme. I would test but I pushed my time limits to far today, got a lot of work to do Let me know!
Edit: forgot about the popup box glowing. That is now fixed with version 3.2. Let me know if you notice anything else. I'm flashing now also
Edit:
Eeew the battery looks nasty. Gonna change that
Since nobody posted yet...
Edit again!
3.3
Should be all done, 2 versions:
Regular stock battery (not numbered accuracy)
Added accurate battery mod if you would like it.
Fixed pop up boxes (nobody probably even noticed though)

Major UPdate for Colorized 3.2. New screen shots in post 4. Added about 250 images, including changes to contacts.apk & phone.apk.
I have not done the actual dial numbers yet, thats a little tricky right now. But I will get to it. For now, almost everything else is completed for the port. I did not add in the animations, as the fact im not to fond of them, especially when it comes to battery drain.
Let me know your thoughts =)

Edit1:Running good, like the changes that I've seen so far. Love the colored pop up boxes and the cursor positioning thing too. Great job!
Edit3: awesome, just noticed the indicator in the xda app for when people are online is themed too. Freakin awesome lol.

ever since i flashed this i got random reboots. (((. dont know the cause. ill stick to it unless it reboots again. then im goin back to the world of no colors

I'm gonna have to test weapon and see how it does myself then. But 99% of the time, its impossible for a theme to cause random reboots. It can cause other issues no doubt, but random reboots are usually more software issues or conflicts. But I will switch to weapons for testing this week and report back + update to the latest colorized release.
Sent from my LG-P999 using Tapatalk

was running weapon flawlessly before flashing this. and maybe cwm messed up th first time. reflashed errthang and its working perfectly again.love the colors. but im just wondering if theres a way to keep stock battery look. thats all i want but i love the rest of the stuff
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium

lol, well I am glad it works now! I was afraid of searching for issues, so that makes me feel better. I can actually do a different battery mod with this theme. Go to http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/ And let me know what battery mod you want. I can take the current framework and systemui and just integrate any battery mod you would like to the existing colorized theme. You can also do this =) The framework-res and systemui are in the zip file.

[THEME][ATHENA](funken)black status bar, 6 bar and other goodies

3/22/2011
Got some updates on Funkenblack and got the kinks out of 6-bar. Not much more planned besides finishing funkenred until SR 4 comes out. So far we have the Status bar, launcher, dial pad, lockscreen and various other elements themed to our liking.
Includes (as of 3/22/2011)
facebook sync (from ihtfp69's op)
6-bar service mod
inverted contacts (all thanks go to JsChiSurf)
themed fancy widgets
themed Launcher2.apk
awesome BIOS boot animation by frysee
more to come..
Instructions
Install like any other update zip through either Clockworkmod or Rom Manager. Scripts should all be Edify so its CWM 3 compatible. It does write over your com.htc.resources, framework-res, and your services.jar so any previous changes/themes will be overwritten.
We've also included just the 6-bar mod without the rest of the theme, with an update zip for both a white status bar, as well as a black(dark) status bar. These should work with just about any other ROM/Customisation for Athena. Download and flash accordingly. Also funkenblack already has the working 6-bar included so there's no need to get either of these with the theme.
Note any changes to the services.jar grants a long boot/reboot so be ready to wait a little bit.
I believe we've worked out all the bugs but if you find any let us know and we'll fix it as quick as possible.
v download links v all files hosted on my dropbox
6-bar for black status bar
6-bar for white status bar
Funkenblackbeta (mostly complete)
Funkenredalpha (outdated, will include update very soon)
Color splash wallpaper
Themed Apps(coming soon)
shapewriter
Miren browser
______________________________
Thanks to all the Users who have posted tutorials and are active in the community and Ihtfp69 for the ROM and alot of other people who deserve thanks whos names I cant recall. And most of all to george clinton for loving funk
thanks to JsChiSurf for some nice inverted HTC apps
And a big thanks to luke1987 for being the driving force behind most of this project, I mostly do the grunt work.
Just figured out where I was going wrong with the expanded statusbar! Expect an update next weekend. I'll finally be able to get rid of that terrible green background.

This mod uses Android default PNG's.
6 bar black statusbar is more for developers. It's just services.jar with 6 bar and white clock. I don't think there are currently any other themes with a black statusbar for Athena.

FunkenBlack Theme v2
Thanks to JsChiSurf for the inverted contacts apk

FunkenRed Alpha
Seems like all we have left now is polishing the extended statusbar and a couple rouge png's
**Known Issues**
1)Random restart when clicking battery stats on low battery popup
=∞=∞=∞=∞=∞=∞=∞=∞=∞=∞=∞=∞=∞=∞=
Our very own black background...looks good with the themed launcher
I've already Noticed a few things in the screenshot I'd like to change including The aforementioned 6-bar. But its late so expect an update tomorrow. Also Within the next few days I'll be working on themeing the rest of the the framework, besides just the Status bar.
I'd be willing to except requests too.
Very nice guys. I've switched to cm7 for the time being after getting bootloops with warm and Magnolia and while waiting for lou to update things. But this could bring me back to the ihtfp fold.
Any chance you could release something without all the green? If not I may give it a shot.

Like incredibly re-engineered's theme?
Well, and this is purely personal preference, I'm not a huge fan of green. Re-Engineered's theme would be a great port if you could do it. Otherwise I can give it a go, i've just never had luck successfully decompiling/editing xmls/recompiling. Just png changes.
Great work guys. Ill be giving it a go this weekend.
I echo the reengineered port comments as well -- that said, im grateful for the work you have done.

Thanks Pete. There will be a minor update this weekend. I still don't know what to do about the drop down statusbar text color. It will be a major project to change the color. So for now I'm trying to decide what background will look best. Gonna start themeing launcher and menu this weekend aswell.
Could we get a red version?
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
Yea eventually. I still have a few more things I want to finish on this theme. But down the road I'd like to release a red and honeycomb theme for both skyraider and Athena. School is taking up too much of my liesure time this semester tho, so it may be awhile. I seen a cool dropdown mod that I have to try implement into this theme.
Awesome, cant wait
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
I'm still loving this theme. Looking forward to what comes next.
Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk
I've started work on a red version. No promises on when I'll finish it but it shouldn't be to long. I'll put a link up when i think its at least usable. anyway hopefully you guys will enjoy it. After that I'll look into a honeycomb theme.
Where can I find that wallpaper in the screenshots?
Also, my status bar was solid black, now after a couple days it is fading back and forth from black to green. I actually love it, just wondering if that is new, or if it is trying to tell me something. LOL, can this theme auto update???
I cant remember where i found the wallpaper but I was planning on making it part of the theme but until then I'll try get a link up. As for the status bar fading to green, I believe thats just part of athena and appears at certain times like during a phone call.
Just got a red version finished there should be a link in the second post in the morning. Its not a completely finished product but looks pretty good i think. anyway goodluck and let me know if you find any flaws that should be fixed besides the ones mentioned in the second post.

[ROM] Dread StockBased v0.02 from theme MattedBlues 2/13/11

This is a stock ROM based on the MattedBlues theme.
I took Preludedrew's stock ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=948566 and ported over jabbawalkee's theme MattedBlues http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=768848
Credits:
Jabbawalkee for his awesome theme
Preludedrew for his stock ROM
Bcnice20 for his OC'd kernels
Beatblaster (maintainer of MattedBlues) for help on the theme
Newkidd for all his help
Anyone else I may have forgotten
What's not working:
Battery isn't animated while charging *fix available - Battery-MOD (see below)
Battery level goes down in increments of 20 *fix available - Battery-MOD (see below)
Landscape changes the bottom dock back to default only while in landscape mode
Bottom dock is mismatched with added work "phone" that shouldn't be there *fixed in version 0.02
I need to edit the xml files to fix the battery issue and so far haven't been successful. Any help on that front would be appreciated, I'm very new to this.
No apps have been removed from the stock ROM thus far but will be on *future* builds. Doesn't include the OC'd kernel but you can get them here: http://www.thebcblends.com/shift/kernels/ thanks bcnice20.
Disclaimer: I'm not responsible to anything that may happen to your phone. Use at your own risk eh.
Version:
v0.01 2/11/2011
Zipaligned, all stock apps included, themed ROM (planning on hopefully fixing battery animation and importing various theme enhancements). Working on the mismatched bottom dock *beatblaster is also working on porting the theme himself.
v0.02 2/11/2011
Fixed bottom dock (thanks newkidd), changed base stock to nfinitefx45's version. Bottom dock icons have changed (original one wasn't lining up to my satisfaction and I like the look of this version better). Will upload original version at some point too with the fixed bottom dock.
2/13/2011 Battery-MOD
Also created a flashable update for those of you that want a fully working battery (Battery-MOD below). This will give you a fully functioning battery icon with animated charging working and battery level numbers 0-100. Keeps the notification bar from the theme now. Noticed 3G icons change back and forth (looking into that).
Make a nandroid just in case. Wipe everything before flashing if coming from a non-stock ROM. I used CWM 2.5 to flash but I believe 3.0 will work as well. After flashing v0.02 then flash the battery-MOD for working battery.
Beatblaster is working on porting the theme.

Hey there I maintain MattedBlues for Jabbawalkee and I was wondering, and I know the answer is most likely yes (right?), but the rosie nav bar in the first screen shot..... you fixed that, right? Cause it's definitely not supposed to look that way. That usually happens when the wrong Rosie.apk is used with the theme. An easy way to fix it is to swap out the PNGs from the more current versions of MattedBlues with an older version, say, from Sense 3.29.
Let me know how I can help! I want to make sure MattedBlues looks perfect on the EVO Shift 4G!
P.S. Jabbawalkee and I have also released the latest Market slightly themed to match as well.
P.S. part 2 - unless the framework for the EVO Shift is different from the EVO we should be able to get the battery going too.
You know, I might just port the theme myself.

It was a good first try that's for sure! Let me see what I can do after work to help this out. I figure I can port the theme and then if I don't have an EVO Shift by time I'm done with that I'll just start another thread with just the theme itself for others to enjoy. I'm really going to try to trade my EVO for a Shift in just a few minutes. Wish me luck!

Lookin good... we need more CM7 mods! just out of curiosity, if the clear button has been removed from the notification tray, how do you clear the notifications?

i dont know if many people know this, but on cm7 you can grab an item on your notification tray and throw it left or right to clear it (same motion as if you were switching home screens) , it takes a few tries to get it right at first but you get the hang of it
Ive been running CM for quite a while now and I still learn something new everyday!
Lol, most people don't know that; I discovered it by accident a while ago.

I saw a few people downloaded this what do you think? What are some improvements (other than the name)

i haven't started on the wimax version but i have had a few other little projects i wanted to get out of the way
also BIG NEWS!
the MMS modification got merged with the CM source, along with the camera button mods, so give a congrats to those guys who have been working so hard. they will remain in the project till the next RC where there wont be a need to have them since they will already be integrated.
here is a little project i have been working on (it started before bed last night i work quick) so over in the Nexus One forums in a theme i found a cool colored gingerbread keyboard, i mixed this with the Reprod one and have one cool looking keyboard, i will attach this as a flashable extra for now till i have enough new content to update the main piece this will also give me time to get feedback on it
here is a pic
also if anybody wants to make me a cool photo collage that would be cool like the one in myns warm twopointtwo thread, or the ones in some other theme threads (i have no artistic skill but a good eye)
Thank you for showing interest in and including my MMS project!

thank you for putting your time and effort into making something to benefit all of us, thats what the project is about
also an update for the Wimax version
i worked on porting it, i do have a good chunk of it down but the systemUI .xml change i made for the clear button delete and carrier label shift needs to be rewritten instead of just moving the .xml so i will work on this tomorrow if i get time.

Working on octane framework theme..

Question is: anybody using octane that is interested? maybe some collaboration?
Btw: I started this as just a learning experience, not to Kang any of raver's awesome work.
Pretty much, I'm just interested in playing with the systemui.apk and framework-res.apk, so if anyone has some cool tips or knows of a good tutorial, feel free to chime in.

Hey bro, I've been kind of doing the same thing. I've taken icons I like (That all flow together, too) from a bunch of different ROMs, and a few other fun things. Hit me up by PM if you want to collab and see what we can come up with!
I've been more or less trying to theme octane more like his BSGS
PS Friggin LOVE your wallpaper... I had the same one all last week! XD!!

Which icons? Battery/Wifi/Signal/etc?
Or you do you mean the app icons?
Sounds great guys. I've been working third shift this weekend and a bunch of crap, sorry. I have some ideas that I've been wanting to draw out, I'll update soon.. Hmm now I probably won't sleep tonight!

Word. I'm working on getting the MIUI icons now.
So far I've got:
-Audiophile sound tweaks
-BSGS4g Pull down notification background (Transparent, I like it more lol)
-Almost all notification icons are blue themed (Excluding app notifications)
-Both ADW and ICS launchers pre loaded
-Debloated (A bit more ;p)
-Tegrak profile pre loaded in SD - 1.2ghz OC with UV settings, for anyone who favors tegrak
-Wifi files from the official release. I can't say 100% if its a big difference, but it seems such so far, I normally get ~2-3 bars in my room, and now I have like 4-5. Needs testing.
Not that I'm trying to build a new ROM out of it, just playing, customizing, tinkering... you know ;P
I haven't really found a set of icons from MIUI that I like much yet... you guys want just the plain white icons??
I did find these though
You can add some dimension to the bars in the pulldown which will really make it pop and be unique. Theme looks incredible!
doeblerdan,
Could you possibly post the blue splash wallpaper pictured in that photo? I know its stock with some ROMs, but i switched to a new one recently and its not avaikabke anymore and I'm really missing it!

I'm just opening it in 7zip and playing with things ;P
Most of what you see on your screen is held in SystemUI.apk and Framework-res.apk (Not including most app icons/images, theyre in the app's APKs)
So do I open framework.apk and SystemUI.apk with 7zip and then push them back in?

You could. What I've been doing is extracting the drawables, working with them, then putting them back into the apks.
New pics of where I am at so far... If anyone wants a copy of where I am at the moment to try it out, shoot me a PM and I'll send you a DL link. Itd be nice to get some input from other users to see where I can go next with it ;P
Also if anyone knows how to change the background color of the menu that pops up, for instance when you are on your home screen and hit the menu button, could you please let me know? XD Right now its like a gray, and the letters are almost unreadable =X
EDIT: Uploaded NEW screenshots. mms, dialer, switched to older ICS and colored it all, app icons, etc etc etc.
New updates =)
So far:
-Changed almost every single system icon
-Themed almost every stock app icon
-Themed MMS app
-Colored ICS launcher blue (Everything!)
-Changed Dialer numbers to blue (more visible IMO)
-Themed the pattern lock a bit
-SOME lockscreen theming
-Changed the dropdown notification background(Also transparent), will be changing the text to a nice blue soon.
-Its almost entirely blue/black/white
What needs to be done:
-Menu background coloring (as you can see its grey, with grey lettering, eww) If anyone know an easy way to fix this let me know. So far every method I've tried ends with failure and me getting a new keyboard after bashing my head off of it.
-Dropdown notification text color
-Probably more locker based theme work coming up...
Anything else you guys would like to see in here??

[ROM] Glorious Overdose v5 with Aroma [4/15/13]

The beast is back....and now with amarullz's Aroma Installer thanks to the contribution of demkantor. This way, you can pick and choose what you want with Glorious Overdose....a Sidekick user's dream come true!
I took the liberty of updating the theme to make it more Jelly Bean-ish....and best of all....all menus are easy on the eyes. Now, I have included the stock web browser so you don't need to install it via Aroma.
Yes...the file is big. It is because of the optional apps included. Remember, you can pick and choose what you want. As always, I take no responsibility if you happen to brick your device.
I decided to roll it back to v2's base. The only changes I made was updating the apps and including build.prop tweaks and rpmmcormick's init.d scripts which he cleaned up using various sources. Exit_Only also contributued to this project.
Base: KJ2
Modem: KJ2
Kernel: Bali 20120602_nxd - Keystroke logger removed
Rooted with Modded Recovery to enable flashing into CWM
Deodexed 100%
Apps and Framework Deodexed and Optimized
All Apps Updated
Debloated
ICS Fugu, increasing touch response and smoothness
Appealing Blue Theme
Jelly Bean Keyboard
Roboto Font (from ICS)
AOSP Music with Working Controls on lockscreen and notification Pulldown
Some themed apps and widgets, App icons Themed
Extended Power Menu with Header Removed
Battery Full and USB Debugging Popup Removed
Volume Rocker Tweak (Silent +Vibrate)
Modded Setting with DriveSmart and Update Software Options Removed
Nexus 4 Ringtones and Notification
Jelly Bean Boot Animation + TV Off Shutdown Animation w/Sound
Build.prop Edits (Changed Default Ringtones/Notifications, Changes to improve scrolling + UI performance + More)
Jelly Bean Transitions/Animations
Ads Removed (Ad-free)
Many init.d tweaks for better overall performance
All credit going to ay0teddy, sduvick, PDT, nxd, Exit_Only, amarullz, demkantor and rpmccormick

No need to credit me, I just spend 1hr organizing 20 or so sh-script files. Didn't write a line of code, deleted a bunch of duplicate ones after merging files, then re-organized and added comments. Thanks though.
Looks good. I did like your Redux menu-theming though (trans-black matching the widgets). Any chance on porting that, plus maybe adding some color to the Settings-Menu (even blue text rather than gray makes a big difference next to the gray icons... I've seen small colored icons I like in other phones, but I hate the big colored icons I've seen in other sidekick roms). Oh, maybe you could just tint the settings icons blue so it would match the power-menu.
Anyway, the GOv2 base is as stable/bugfree as a stock KJ2, and the tweaks you added to it bring it up to date with _most_ of Sams changes, and none of the bugs. This should serve the last few users of this phone well. Only thing left to do is change how it looks. I don't expect any new tweaks to help us, unless someone wants to work on zram or something (I don't even know what that is, but it speeds up the ROM for my AdventVega JB I guess).
Thanks Ric!

Here is the weird thing about GOV v2. Once you touch the framework-res.apk, it results in the jump key bug. I did try to update the look, but figured it best to leave it alone....unless enough people want me to change it and then I'll use ay0teddy's jump key mod.

Ok, now I'm confused on this jump-key mod.... I have never used the jump-key in landscape, and it has always worked fine for me, however, I prefer PreHome anyway (thanks for finding that gem) so I changed my jump-key to a search-key simply by copying over the keyboard.kl file from Redux in to GOv2.
1) Does the jumpkey work in landscape with GOv2's untouched framework-res.apk?
2) Isn't PreHome + keyboard.kl changing the jump-key to a search-key a valid solution for everyone?

I can't wait to try it out. It will be the last ROM on my SK4G before I move away to the HTC One.
You should add ezlauncher seems smooth an looks really good.
Not much customizing settings such as themes but it has a really nice app drawer with a task manager
Should give it a look over before though might not be your style

all right no promises as my phone is still... well its not a brick... but i cant flash so i might as well use it to build a house...
anyway ill have it fixed soon im sure but for now here you all go!
And although i looked over this a bunch im sure i missed some things, i can do some cleaning tomorrow and help build a much more full setup. this should boot and flash as you tell aroma to do, but if it doesnt it cant harm anything just wouldnt work, let me know if there are issues and i can fix it!
as always,
Happy Flashing!
opps, wrong download!!! give me a minute....
Edit2
Ricandroid sent me what I needed and now my phone works!
So I flashed the rom and it works.... sorta, you need to run aroma and flash the rom only, then reenter aroma and choose skip rom and flash your mods, this is far from ideal and I will fix it soon, but I need some sleep so it will have to be tomorrow, sorry guys!
sorry only had a half hour or so to work on this, im uploading now, currently the aroma package seems to work fine, allowing you to install whatever youd like. there for sure needs to be more cleaning up of this i just have the time at the moment.
@RicAndroid, feel free to add to op and use this for now if you want to get it out there, i can help you build up Glorious Overdose V5.1 if you would like as this is great but has room for improvements. a little more sweat and tears and this ROM will be super sweet!
@ everyone else, consider this a preamble to the best ROM yet for this phone, RicAndoird is on his way to bringing this phone back to life once again!
...internet is slow right now, about half an hour until upload completes....
ok took the dogs for a walk and im back with the link, here ya go!

Thanks!
This rom is amazing, and the aroma installer is beautiful! Thanks for the work!
