I am wondering if any of you know where to get "cheaper" phones. As of right now I want an SGSII for t-mobile, but I can't pay $600 -___-

I can guarantee you that you can get one for less then $600 but it's not legal...
But on the legal side of things take a look in the "for sale" section and see if anyone is getting rid of one and if you do buy unlocked i would suggest the Nexus over the SIIX isn't their SI still on froyo ?

So a friend of mine has a HTC vivid and wants to trade me for my ATRIX 2 so is that a good trade? And what would the advantages if so.
I'd go for it, the Vivid has LTE and is a overall nicer device, it does come down to your preferences though, what ROMS you want, Don't call it blur or sense etc
I'd also do the trade.

How do you guys keep getting new phones? They're obviously not on a 2 year contract, because people here get new phones like every 6 months. Do you take upgrades from other people on your plan? Do you just spend extra money and buy them unlocked as they come out? Please share the info, as I would like to get an Apollo phone come fall.
