Big Dog Infuse I997 CatyRom
Yes, put tbu on your infuse, put the tbu folder with all your apps on internal sd card. Your good to go. I just did this a few weeks ago with no problems.

I've read many threads on the fixes for the G2x,including rooting and a new rom, however, I still get the same "error" when I turn the wifi on, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Titanium Backup
Did you restore any apps through Titanium Backup? I managed to break my wi-fi when I loaded EB 2.5 because I stupidly restored a few system apps when running a batch restore. A full wipe and reinstall and then restoring only user apps either through Titanium Backup or the Market fixed the problem. Running smooth now.

I have a Skyrocket now but have a new one coming. Its a long convoluted story so I won't bore you with it. My question is since I have everything backed up on Titanium backup when I get new phone already rooted is there any way to migrate using Titanium to the new phone? Thanks I'm still pretty new to this.

Okay the only thing you can restore are missing apps and their data. You cannot restore system data between different phones.
for AT&T Samsung Infuse 4G, stock Froyo 2.2.1
How do I do temp-root? I just want to temporarily use Titanium Back Up to back up apps data.
Or is there any other way to back up apps data without full root?
Thank you

Yeah. You can do that one click. Forgot the name of the option though. But really, you should full root and then flash up some nice roms.

Titanium Backup will be your saving grace. I use it to backup all my user apps and transition them to whatever ROM I switch to. Spend the little extra $$ and get the Pro version too. Well worth the money invested in it.

Oh looked it up seems cool(I know how to get paid apps for free not sure if I'm allowed to post that here though lol) and does this save the apps to SD card or phone or is it there own servers online or something? How does it work do I recover my cm7 back up and do this and then go back to paranoid android re download app and restore?

We won't go into discussion of the "free"ness you speak of. It's not tolerated here and I HIGHLY discourage it as a practice.
Titanium Backup will put the backups wherever you'd like. It's all in the setup.
Don't rip off the makers of Titanium Backup. Their tool is awesome and is worth the money

Well I finally got my S3 in after a long wait for my upgrade. Is there a walkthrough on the best practice to move from the S2 to the S3 without losing anything? I have a ton of sensitive and work related data/apps/media on here that I want to make sure makes it over.
Any help is appreciated.

The apps use titanium backup and back them up to your sd card. And files you need just move to your sd card
