I have o2 xda orbit (not2) aand when i use after some time it hangs firstly without ny response and then the screen turns white. I have wm 6.1 in it. Can any 1 help me????
Could rinstall the rom again in it i have had hard rest it several time but not solving the problem

hey I upgraded to the latest rom for improvements with my Camera.... (my camera was very bad.. couldn't take clear pics at nite.. had to be in broad day lite... O2 claims 1.3MP but all the pics are pretty blury nite or day)... anyway after the upgrade camera is still as S* as it was before the upgrade... but the new problem is that my phone doesn't hang up at times.... i read few other forums about peolple reporting the same problem... but noone seems to give any suggestion to remove it or may be degrade to the last rom.... pls ADVICE...

i forgot to mention that after the rom upgrade i even downloaded microsoft voice command software.... does it have anything to do with it.
sayadil: given you've wasted pretty much the cost of the phone, why not just hard reset and try again? VC has the freaky ability to switch on the rear speaker, so I hear, so that's very likely something to do with it.
Try VJOkButt with -phone and see if that helps. That bugger ends calls we don't even want it to it seems

hey i tried doing everything. I recently Removed VC and i even did the restart.. hard reset... same problem.. can't hang up on few calls.. then i have to manually change the radio to off and then back on for it to work... pls some one help as this problem is getting so annoying...

hey i got that working with the same progrm.. thanks... i don't know if you read my thread ... but i'm having a big big problem... my phone sometimes doesnt hang up a call... i mean i press the red off button and it seems like the call is off... but call is still on.. my recent bill was over $500 And this problem started when i upgraded my rom from 1.10 to 1.11 original O2 rom version. I even downloaded Microsoft Voice command with the new rom. So one of the person told me to remove VC coz it had lot of bugs... after doing that... i still had the problem... so what i did was.. i installed a new rom version 1.13 (imate) and hard reset the whole phone... and guess what? i still have the problem.. now i'm thinking may be there's a file in my phone which is causing all this.. may be by restoring the windows mobile 2k3 something changes... but dont know how to reload the windows. pls help coz this is very disturbing....
Did you also try to solve it by changing the radio version (1.11 , 1.12 , 1.13) not only the rom version ???

Press and hold Power button+Camera button and at the same time press with the stick at the soft reset hole.
hey , ive been using Farias Crossbow version of WM6 for sometime now...the problem is , after some usage time , the screen stopped responding and is dead...now i dont know how to solve this problem...can someone plz help me out ?? thanx alot...

does restarting the device solve the problem ? please provide a list of 3rd party software that you are running
hey....nope it doent help y restarting thedevice...infact iv been using it now for almost 1 month without a working touchscreen...i havent even installed ne other software's...other than those that came originally with farias crossbow...think ud be able to help me out ??

I once ad a similar problem with my old s100, after almost lost my mind looking for a solution i tried to clean on the sides of the screen be twin the screen and cover with a peace of paper, small grain of sand was stuck there, and guess what...
Any constant pressure in the screen will keep it for working until the pressure is release

I´m new in here and I hope you can help me..
I have a new HTC Polaris since 2 weeks..
Its from O² so its the XDA Orbit 2..
I have many problems with it.
1. Every 5 Minutes it proceed a Soft Reset. I have tried many Roms but its the same at all of them.
2. My Microfon is so low that when I call somebody he can´t understand me.. He don´t hear anything. Only if I talk closely to the Microfon he can hear me a little bit.
3. The internal Speaker doesn´t work. So if somebody call me he don´t hear me and I don´t hear him.
PLS Help me..
At the moment I test the WM 6.1 Beta from bepe

no, i don't think that will fix it. i can't tell from your post if you flashed a custom ROM and then had problems or if you had problems and then flashed a custom ROM. soft resets every 5 minutes is not normal. if i had the same problem before i flashed a custom ROM, i would have returned it by now. the phone is too new to be spending weeks trying to resolve issues.

I own an O2 XDA Orbit 2 aka HTC Polaris and today evening it froze on me. I tried soft boot, restarting, getting the batt/sim, memory card out but it just wont get past the boot up screen.
Its got the windows mobile logo with a volume bar overlapping it. It just stays on that and I have no clue what I need to do to fix it. I am a bit stressed as it got all me emails and some personal pictures and data which I cannot access.
I have also connected it to my PC via USB bit it wont let me explore the device. I would really appreciate it if someone can advise me on how to go about fixing this problem.

i have got the same problem as this gentleman has mentioned above, is it possible that someone can help us out with this annoying problem, i am very disappointed because its only 2nd day of my orbit 2 and it started behaving like this, your urgent replies will be highly appriciated.

I have had this a couple of times with my orbit - windows logo and volume bar just stting there. The only way I have resolved it is to perform a hard reset.

I am too facing similar screen problem with my o2 XDA Mini I see only colored lines. If you are still following the board plz let me know if you have solved the problem . Plz let me know the solution , my phone is useless since last 8 months.
