Was new to the Samsung Touchwiz scene, so incase anyone else was wondering the same thing...
Search for market for an app called Appzorter
Allows you to sort the Touchwiz applications list by name/folders first/ folders sorted by name/ etc etc, (why couldnt samsung have built that in? do they have to try and remove basic useful functions like apple do )
thanks for this great app! So what's the different between paid & free version besides no Ad?

I have bought some apps from the Android Market which I no longer want to use. Is there any way to remove them from my "Not Installed" list on Android Market?
This is not a Galaxy Note related problem but a general Android related one. So in the general Android forum you will get much easier and faster an answer.

'No, there isn't' would've been a much shorter reply
This is the one Android annoyance nobody seems to care about doing anything to fix.
There must be some leftover bits and pieces somewhere to remove from apps that get into Not Installed. On my phone the only apps that have gone there are four out of the many pre-installed apps I had no use for.
I've never had any other apps, sideloaded or market downloads, go to not installed after uninstalling with the built in app management.
Using other tools like SDX Stock App Remover can cause that to happen. For some of those, using SDX to put the apk back then using root explorer to remove it fixed the not installed entry.
Searching for a way to remove all trace of Sprint's NASCAR and football apps, TeleNav and Samsung MediaHub.
Titanium Backup shows there's some database files for two of them but does not show the full path to their location.
When someone with a lot of Android knowledge gets annoyed by that, then we'll see a fix. until then it looks like we're stuck with junk we do not want on our phones.
The history is held on Google's server. If you do a wipe-data+cache on the market app, that's all you can do on the phone end, beyond that it's just pulling data from Google.
Have a look at all the junk on your market account on the website.

Hey guys
I'm new to android developing and really looking forward to develop more.
I just finished making this app which hides/restores all your secret files that you don't want other people to see with ease.
Please check it out give me some suggetions
guyz, plz give me some feedback. it would be really helpful to me
Finally found a way to hide my files .thankss
But,obviously hidden files are stored in hfile directory, should'nt it be more hidden?
thanks 4 d feedback.will be changed in the update
I currently use hide it pro, which is free from the play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smartanuj.hideitpro&hl=en
this
stores my files in a better directory,
can store sms/files/pictures/hides apps..etc..
can be hidden from app drawer,
can be opened by dialling a code into the phone,
has a choice of functional disguise screens...
Without screenshots, playstore link or any description, why would I choose your app? This isnt a put down on you, just curious as to what more this can offer.
I bought this one financial management app that I've downloaded from Google Play Store. I immediately fell in love with the way it works and the UI. I love all of it but then I started to customize it to my needs, like creating categories and assign the icons to match each category. The problem starts there, the icons aren't enough or accurate to the categories I've created. I looked around and I saw the developer has added a mini shop inside the app for new icons BUT the icons are so irrelevant to my needs like they're an icon set of Brazil World Cup theme etc (in a financial management app). I was quite disappointed with the options I have. So I got an idea and I wanted to add my own icons to use. I open the .apk file and saw a bunch of icons that I wish to change or add more to.
However, I'm not familiar with editing apk files. My questions are:
What would happen to my "paid" status if I edit it and repack it then use it again?
Is there a file where I gotta set that new icons are added to the "whole" apk so the app sees the newly added .png files as option to use as category icons?
Is this against the "paid apps" rules (if there's any?)
I've bought many many apps on Play Store if I like the apps, to support the developers. I have no negative intentions whatsoever towards this purpose and I only genuinely wish to use my own custom icons to accurately match the categories I've setup in the app.
Oh, the developer isn't reply to my emails. It's been almost a month.
Thanks for reading. Please share your advice.

It depends. If you had did an in-app purchase, you shouldn't do this, as it would've been activated by a key.
If you had directly downloaded the paid app from Play Store and installed it, you are good to go.
Just backup the .apk file of the file to somewhere safe so that you can use it when you need the original paid app again.
Now copy the .apk file again to where needed and start editing.
Note: Never post the paid app here in XDA, else you're banned

Okay, if I read your post correctly seems to me like I'm doomed. If you go on Play Store and search for Money Lover app, it only shows as in-app purchases underneath the download button. So, that sucks. Big time. I've sent the developer another email regarding my request if I can install my custom png's files. Consider I paid over $6.00 for this app, I'm a little disappointed lol. Slow response and lack of customization for icons... dang. The only way is to buy their "irrelevant-icons-to-my-needs" icon packs.

Hi kaphtc,
I am one of the developers behind Money Lover. We genuinely apologize for having missed your email, due to our tight schedule of finalizing the latest version with Material Design. It was totally unintentional, and we hope you understand.
Regarding your suggestion about adding in your own icons, unfortunately it's impossible at the moment due to technical difficulties with the syncing process. We can only consider this feature in the future if we're able to find a good way to sync images across difference devices and OSes (Android, iOS and Windows Phone).
However, if you have designed an awesome icon packs that you'd like to share with other users, you can actually submit it to us. We will see if your work can be integrated directly into our app
Regards,
Kent
Hi everybody,
I now use a custom ROM based on CM 12.1 (Lollipop, Android 5.1.1) on my SGS4 i9505.
All in all it's fine - but I miss some of the features which Samsung adds to their app versions.
So I wonder if it is possible to add the original Samsung apps to my custom ROM, namely the contact and the SMS app.
Is it possible (without touchwiz etc.)? And if yes, how can I extract the apps from stock ROM?
Or even better, where can I download them?
Alternatively who can tell me other 3rd party contact apps which are able to link together contacts of several accounts and have good overview, search and editable features.
The original Android app is very confusing for me and also lacks above features.
I also tried contacts+ which is (in my sight) not much better...

Bad news
So the touchwiz framework is put deep into Samsung's Android Versions?
Not only a "framework" library? :crying:
The only reason I want the Samsung apps because the plain Android ones lacks some featrues.
So I'm sure there must be some 3rd party out there wich also have these - but currently I didn't find it
Very important for me ist the possibility to link together contacts with information in several account sources (phone, several carddav sources, google, whatsapp,...).
So that all available information of a contact can be seen in one place - without loosing the possibility to keep (and edit/move/copy) the different information at different source places...
Does anybody know such a contact / dialer app which does not need the touchwiz framework?
I think there is a possibility...

There is a possibility!
First download all apps from the internet
Then move them to the framework folder
Restart your phone
Done
Exdialer and chomp sms are my favourite alternatives. Maybe you should give them a try.
I use true dealer and yaata sms. Both have development forums on "apps and games" of xda, so you can writte to developers to ask something.
Of course both app are full of customization and very useful
I remember this app where it allows users to sort applications on touchwiz with awesome features like separating System Apps and User Apps by adding a page break and many other functions. But according to my search on the Internet and various 3rd party appstores, I found out that the author had a problem with KitKat roms and have never saw him developing furthermore since then.
Anyone know what happened to this awesome app or author?
Are there any app sorting apps that is similar like this?
If you don't know what app I'm talking about please drop me a reply here, I will include links for it.
Thank you!
