[Q] Sony Ericsson X10 Mini PRO Problem

hi everyone jes newlynbought a X10 Mini Pro phone but the problem i found out is the unit dont have an android market build in. so wat shud i do now?

Is there any way to get it working on a rooted android 2.1 device? (x10 mini pro).
I remember i saw someones signature running a stock x10 mini with it, but can't find the person to ask or any thread that shows how to do it.

The first question I am asking is about Rsap... is it possible, thanks to your developments (gingerbread OS for xperia x10 mini pro) use it on my phone?
Is there a HW issue about it?

Yes! it can be... I have also X10 mini pro and its running gingerbread...
there are a lot of tutorials posted her on how to do it...
don't be afraid that you might brick your phone.. just follow all the steps and instructions and you will be successful.

Probably I wasn't clear enough...
I already installed gingerbread on my x10 mini pro, the point is about the rsap installation.
I don't understand if there is an HW issue about it or if it is likely to be developed in the next future...

I have a X10 Mini Pro

Sony Ericcson has a very long process to root their phones. I have just done it for a friend because he wanted to change the roms and play around with it. (I guess I was playing around with it more ) But back to the subject.
Go here.
After you've unlocked the bootloader and installed the firmware 4.0.A.2.368 and if you are unable to root the phone through their process. The other way to do this is flash your phone with Doomlord's Kernal.
Follow these steps and you should be able to use CWM Recovery because thanks to Doomlord, he's applied root and cwm into this boot.img.
That should do the trick

Yeah, I thought it was too when I first started with this Sony Ericcson X10 mini pro, but after a little bit, I realize I got myself into something much more, but I was able to successfully flash my friends phone.

and I want to update it to ics ... so. any one could help me ???

i never rooted any device and i don't know how ..so I searched a lot maybe more than a week but i got confused because i read lotsssssss of posts about x10 mini pro so, now i don't know from where should i start :crying:
if any one can give me a step by step guide what should i do to have ics on my x10 mini pro i will be so glad
