Help needed Wifi problem after S-OFF

Hello, i've got a problem after s-off my Desire-S , it's now on hboot 6.98 and my wifi give's an error , can't put it on again ???
please help !!

After you s-off'd, did you root and flash a custom rom and not a new kernel?
Need more info. What method did you use?

No , unfortunally the rooting with gingerbreak does not work , so i only have s-off , not root
I tried other methode found here on forum but no luck....
btw i rooted with the new revolutionary

Hmmm I'm not an expert and your info is not that detailed... but maybe I can point you in a direction which actually worked for me.
Assuming that you are S-off and root, why not just reset everything from recovery and flash an pre-rooted RUU or a custom ROM and see if that works first. Just like wnp suggested?

This doesn't sound right, as I thought to get soff you need to get root.
Did you instal CWM as part of soff process ?
What rom version are you on?
What makes you say you are not root?

No, did not install cwm, read post wrong , thought i shouldnt do it .
Now got root with superclickone....
Will now try to get new rom , wich is the best for desire-s (and by best i mean fastest )
download will not be easy without wifi !

Sorry i m a noob.
This android flashing is very new to me. I use to own HD2 and flash by using hardSPL and recovery.. but this is total new to me
Pls BEAR with my with my noob question..!!
my first question is
i want to install battery percentage..
SO i should Installing S-off, ClockWork, Root, SuperCID & S-on
what if i do wrong? will my mobile brick? Unlike WM, it had hardSPL to protect.

U don't need supervisor and u don't need to make it s-on again.
Pretty much s-off, clockwork mod, root it, then flash what u need in clockworkmod.

Oh thanks what is the s-off and on?

Security off, security on. Put simply the flash memory where the system files are stored is read only when security is on. In order to modify the system in any way (to root or flash a custom rom for example) it is necessary to set security to off. Security off makes the system flash memory read/write.

No not Really, unless you want to flash a ROM different from your region.
Super CID can be done later on also.

You only need to worry about CID if you need to run an official RUU from a different region. You don't need to mess with CID if you're just flashing cooked ROMs.

The tool is called uopunutbear S-OFF
I would like to return from ICS ...
But with 1:27 hboot I find no possibility

Ah ok are you S-ON with hboot 1.27? If so Have a look at this thread.
They are developing ways of getting devices that have hboot 1.27 and S-ON converted to S-off.
They may be able to help.

I unlocked and after root
original firmware be playing .. 1:50 ....
4.0 and then recorded via ota.
Now I have hboot 1.27.
with htc unlocked but can not rooten ..
Can not S off
set ...
My cell phone works, but custom ics
I would prefer

Prerequisite for soff is you must be on stock Rom
And I soffed my phone after I flashed stock Rom my phone ,
You donot need to run the RUU as RUU will make your phone completely stock
You need a stock ROM

no revolutionary doesn't support your hboot version
other way is to unlock the bootloader from htcdev site
and then use this guide to flash custom roms

U must have done something wrong. When u done the misc version, did u type in the number of the ruu that u ran? Lot of people type the number in the guide then run a ruu with different number.

i installed with same numbers ruu .. I have biggest problem .. My phone didint blocked, sim card unlocked but still Getting "Limited Service" Maybe u know the problem ?

Oh yh i remember u from other thread. Rooting, s-off aint gona help the fact the ur imei is blocked. Ring ur network provider and ask them.

IMEI didint blocked ... I'll checked my imei in police departament .. They said imei dont blocked .. My phone unlocked from all networks. And i didint know what to do ..

Ul need to try the guide again to downgrade. It does work, i used it myself. Then once ur s-off u can try flashing different radio. Thats all i can think of.

Ok so u had same hboot like me.
You have to unlock bootloader on the htcdev website, just download fastboot drivers and follow all the steps, then flash a custom recovery using fastboot and then supersu to root.
