Did you change lcd density value in build.props file?

I changed it using Nitrality but it is back to the default now. Why would that matter? Thanks for the reply!

It does. Looks like the new market app has some field for lcd density too when developers upload their apps. Some apps get this incompatibility issue when they change density.
Way around for this would be to search for the apk online, download, and install. Once installed it would work fine. But there won't be any market updates either.

I only had to wipe market data and it installed fine.

Android 2.3.6 Market?

I was wondering if anyone could provide a link to a way of getting Android Market 2.3.6 working on the X10?
I've been running into some issues with my Market and think an update may fix it, but all the xRecovery versions I can find are Market 2.2.7, which is what I already have.

Awesome. As 2.3.6 is what I need to get in-app purchases working in a few apps I've been wanting to buy (especially Robotek HD).
What ROM are you running, and how did you get 2.3.6 installed and working? As my signature lists, I'm running Wolfbreak's TW 007 ROM and I've tried a couple of .zips I came across (stock 2.3.6 and TransGreen colour-modded version) and in both cases I can't get things working properly (I get constant FCs).

Potentially. It may also be your Market content filtering settings. Go into the market and select Menu > Settings. Make sure you have "No Filtering" selected under content settings.
There is actually a bug with filtering (well it is on my tripnmiui) which doesnt show some apps when you put no filtering
Good to know.
So, does anyone know how to get Market 2.3.6 working on the X10?

I too am using WB 007 and market 2.2.11. I notice a lot of items get filtered out for some reason. Very curious to find a newer or better market.

Of course. Newer versions of Android are backwards compatible. APK's are like any other executable. If you had a file working on Windows Vista, there's a 95% chance it works on Windows7, baring some sort of deprecation.
Yeah but was running on mosaic 3 & it wouldnt even install

Email app from the galaxy s2

I have the .apk but haven't had any luck getting it to run on icbinb. Should the email.apk have any issues running on a froyo based rom?

I have the same issue...I have a backup, somehow, of the email apk bu that doesn't work. I can't install any 2.2.1 e-mail apks, only a crappy 2.1 version that doesn't work with my calendar.
Any ideas?
thats because the email apk from the sgs2 is based of gingerbread not frayo

I just got it to work using a 2.2 email app.
Put it on the SD card, install it via whatever app you want...it will FC. Just reboot and it works fine.

No worries...I still want the newer version of the email client that supports peak and off-peak polling for my corporate email account. This 2.2 version (yellow email icon) is a little different than the 2.2.1 version (blue email icon) that was missing from ICBINB rom...I'll download the stock rom and look for it.
Will any of the newer 2.3 email apks will work with ICBINB?
Thanks all. I'll see if I can get it to work.

[Q]How to update firmware - when using custom ROM Infused 2.2.3

So I'm running Infused v2.2.3
Firmware version 2.3.3
I'm still a newb at android and am not clear on the distinction between firmware & rom. I'm assuming it's like the BIOS and OS relationship on a PC.
I remember when I was using stock, I had a software update option in the settings/about phone menu. I had it under Infused 1.6, and that option has disappeared under infused 2.2.3
So, is 2.3.3 the firmware I should be running?
If no, how do I upgrade it?
Could upgrading it affect/fix my camera, because it no longer works under infused 1.6 or 2.2.3?
Thanks!

Nooope, OTA updates are "official" updates pushed out by AT&T. Infused is a custom rom...I'm assuming you want an updated GB? Look in the dev section for some of the newer roms based off of newer AT&T leaks. (2.3.5 or 2.3.6)
I'm pretty happy with Infused 2.2.3
It's snappy, I noticed better battery life etc.
I'm just trying to get my camera to work =(
That's my only qualm. Saw somewhere where someone mentioned camera firmware, and I thought that might be an avenue to pursue.

That's not really how it works, but for me, the camera seems to be the first thing that FC's on a bad flash. The way I've fixed this issue is to re-flash the rom. Option 2 would be to search the themes and apps section for a camera apk, use root explorer to place in system/app and change its permissions.
Got it uploaded and rebootig now. Is there any specific permissions it should be set to?

[q] [problem:notfixed] zedge not working with any ics rom

Hi Guys I consider myself just above noob and have a problem with all the ICS ROM's i have tried, have followed the wipe and install to the letter with full wipes, but for the life of me i am unable to get the ZEDGE app to work, i am currently on AndroidHD v1.0 with Eugene373's kernel
I9020 neuxus s fully rooted.
some one please help cant post on any of the rom threads as i apear to be to new
i've changed 3 more ROM's and all showing same problem, can anybody with ICS on their phone confirm if they can use ZEDGE fully.
ok fixed
ok it seems to have something to do with ZEDGE changing and messing with permissions of the app. i have deleted the current version and found an older version on fourshared and it all good.
