[REQ] Disable Touchscreen app - Android Apps and Games

Hello I'm a student, and I have bought a HP touchpad and successfully flashed CM 7.1 on it (Thanks CM Team ).
Now, I often use my touchpad to look at pdf plans o immages, I had a good idea to put a paper over my touchpad and I tryed to draw over the device. But I had to notice that the touchscreen was still working so it is impossible to draw on the Touchscreen with a pen (cause you always put your hand on the screen and move the immage).
Is it possible to developp an application that allows to disable the screen via softbutton or a button combo?

[Q] hp bt keyboard support - android

I'm loving ics on the hp touchpad but I'm having a lot of problems with the hp Bluetooth keyboard in android. Note it's pairing up just fine but Ihave the forllowing issues.
Not all keys on the keyboard work properly, ie the shift and caps lock don't work. Notice all the missing caps in the this post. Only caps are auto entreated by the spell checker.
The soft or virtual keyboard always pops up for any input and Ihave to close it to get it out for the way.
any help in resolving these issues would be greatly appreciated.
note I'm using classicnerd v2 but I've had the same problems no matter what rom. I've installed.
Thanks
Bob
I AM USING MY HP KEYBOARD RIGHT NOW. caps work SHIFT works....most of the xtra keys on top work...i.e. volume, power button...brightness does not but search and home do work...maybe change your batteries.

[Q] Remote Control Software Recommendations

Hi guys,
I'm looking for suggestions for a specific type of remote control software, I used something long ago during the Gingerbread days but I cannot find it at all...
I want to be able to use my phone as a mouse using the accelerometer (something like this app) for a computer over LAN but with the added option of having an on screen button or something which opens up a keyboard on my phone for typing on the computer. I don't need to see the computer screen on my phone such as in TeamViewer. I tried using a regular bluetooth keyboard and mouse but somehow the range suffers in certain spots where I sit, and I have battery issues...
Feature Wishlist: Any added functionality like also working over the internet, volume button support, not needing a server application, good ui, etc will be a bonus.
Thank you!

Best external keyboard?

Hi guys,
I have a GT-N5110 and I'd like to get an external keyboard for it..
Here is what I'm looking for:
- Nicely spaced keys (I definitely DON'T want one of those super small keyboard with soft keys)
- Minimum latency between keystrokes and what I see on the tablet's screen
- Preferably with a mousepad or a usb port that can handle a mouse
- Support to place the tablet horizontally
- I want to be able to use it anywhere so no keyboards that rely on 3G (if there is such a thing hehe)
I like the Sharkk Bluetooth keyboard. It is backlit, which I feel is a necessity (the choice of colors is a bit OTT however). Unfortunately it looks like Sharkk has gotten out of the keyboard business. https://www.amazon.com/SHARKK-Bluetooth-Ultra-Slim-Back-Light-Backlights/dp/B00E1HIVG8

TF300T + Wacom Tablet

Is there something I can load into my TF300T (I am currently on Marshmallow since I want to use the Keyboard dock) so that it recognizes my Wacom Tablet as a mouse? From what I've read there are issues with the pressure sensitivity, etc. However I just want to use it as a mouse, regardless of pressure sensitivity. With apps like Autodesk or ArtRage just so I can still practice on the go.
A bit low on funds so I'm trying my best to simply work with what I have. Is there a kernel that exists to support this?
Right now, when I plug this Wacom tablet in, it lights up but there is no cursor on screen (even when I deactivate the touchpad on the keyboard, since I thought maybe it was too much interference).
I am hoping it's as simple as something I have overlooked or can DIY. A lot of the other posts I've seen are concerning themselves with the pressure sensitivity and all I'm looking to do is really just do some line work on some of the apps as if it were the cursor from a regular mouse.
Any response is appreciated!

Disabling Android system commands on bluetooth/usb Keyboard and Mouse buttons?

Hello XDA community!
I've done brief google-fu trying to work around issue I have found myself struggling with with nothing to show for it so I come to ask experts because surely, this being such a fundamental problem someone must've already tackled it, right?
So my problem is, I try to use my Android device (in this case POCO X3 NFC, but considering getting Android tablet specifically for this purpose if there is a workaround to issue I'm about to describe since my iPad is nothing more than expensive paper weight it seems) as a client device to access remote desktop and use BT mouse and keyboard to go along with it. Everything is sorta kinda working... except it doesn't as soon as you get to interact with it. ESC and few other keys prioritise Android shortcuts over application, same with right mouse button. I don't think I need to explain why right mouse button closing remote desktop app (Parsec and Moonlight) and booting me back to app launcher instead of opening the context menu on remote desktop is a MAJOR problem. I've found TeamViewer to work alrightish, it catches mouse clicks and button inputs and prevent app from closing itself... if it only wasn't a steaming pile of dog**** to work on - obviously desire here is to keep using VASTLY superior remote desktop experience that either Parsec or Moonlight provides with the benefit of using BT mouse and keyboard.
Is there ANY way that Android system button shortcuts could be completely disabled? I don't want my F-keys to adjust volume... Nor do I want my ESC key or mouse right click boot me back into app launcher...
Also, as a bonus if there's a way to significantly decrease mouse cursor sensitivity it would be greatly appreciated because holy **** moving mouse 1 inch on a desk on lowest setting Android allows for would scroll through several dozen screens worth of content...
I've found this to be a problem on iOS as well but unlike iOS being left at Apple's mercy I kinda expect Android to be more maliable by end-user.
Any takers?
