[Q] Wich is the best one?? - General Questions and Answers

I used to have an Atrix 4g, but i lost it when i got drunk among a few whores, so now i looking to buy a Motorola Rarz of a Samsung Galaxy Note, or if you have a better idea please let me know wich one will be the best one.
I have read and for the moment the bootloader for the Rarz is unlockable until ICS (i want CM7-9 on it).
and you cannont remove the battery
So thats the main reasons why im not sure to buy it.
Please let me know the best phone availble.
Note, need to be SIM unlocked.

The HTC SENSATION is the best. ;-)
Matt

From HTC is that the best one?

The Sensation is the fastest Phone from HTC, but I think it's too big.
Go to a local shop and test out some big Android-Devices (SGS2; HTC Sensation...) and some middle sized devices (HTC Desire S; SGS)
Find your personal's best

That HTC is the cheapest, then the SGS2, and the expensive is the Motorola Rarz.. its a difficult choice

It depends on so many things. Just go to your local electronic store and try them out yourself.

The Sensation isn't even the best phone by HTC. Get an SGSII or Galaxy Nexus if you want to spend that extra money.

[Q] which phone shall I buy ?

I need an unlocked phone
Thing iss my budget is 350
Maximum
I was thinking of getting a x10 used
or just get a samsung s.
Whats your opinion?
Thanks. Andriod only though. can you give me other choices ?
Thank you.
If you like messing around with your phone (Flashing, tweaking, modding, etc.) and the T-MOUS HD2 works in your area for 3G, go with that.
Otherwise, a used Nexus One or HTC Desire I'd say... The X10 isn't what it's cracked up to be.
Who is your carrier and in what country?
i don't like samsung ,because my sister have one , voice of it very low
Well I can start by saying there is a huge difference between a nexus s and a x10. They both suck. The nexus s is a Samsung and it's already falling behind many android phones about to be released, nexus s is much better than the Sony tho. I olwould wait a month or so and you can get a dual core. They are on the way.

Shop around. Keep your options open. Plenty of phones out there that are better than the x10 Sam S. Check Craigslist, ask your friends, etc. You can get a good deal for 350.
Desire Z/G2 is another option you might want to consider.
I bought my new desire hd a week ago and its amazing...highly recomended!
i think samsung galaxy s is the best at the moment

HTC Desire or Motorola Defy

I want to buy a smartphone and I have narrowed it down to those to devices. Which one of the two would you suggest?

Depends on what you looking for. I find both really cool. The desire is big, and the defy is small. htc sense is way better than motorollas overlay. The desire screen is simply better in terms of clarity and color. gsmarena.com is a good site to help you decide, it does nice comparisons. check it out.
Desire : strong community, hundreds of custom ROMs, easier to root, Sense.
Defy : water+dust resistant, Blur.
Yours to decide.
BTW: I have a Desire not a Defy.
Android was born from the union of Google and HTC
I have a Desire, but also Desire HD it's beautiful.
HTC with Android forever !
HTC with Windows Phone anymore !
DEFY is a good choice.
last year i want to buy defy, i like its water and dust resistant. but my friend suggest me desire. and finally, i buy HTC, the screen look better than defy. PS: what i buy is desire s, but i know desire is good, 'coz the friend i just said use it.

On look out for a new android phone but.....

Hi
I am starting to look for a new phone to replace my HTC Desire which is coming to the the end of its contract and will be due an upgrade in January. I have been looking around for a new phone, but i am struggling to know what to get.
Obvious one to look at would be Samsung Galaxy Nexus, galaxy s2 etc.....but they seem massive against my desire...
If people own one of these phones, do they not find the size is a hindrance while on the move?
I Guess my question is what would people suggest as a good phone to get which is a similar size to the HTC Desire?
By the way i live in the UK, if that affects what is available.
thanks in advance
Andy
Similar size would be Nexus One, Desire S or the slightly bigger Nexus S. Apparently everyone needs phones the size of laptops now so there's not much choice for normal sized devices.
I recommend the Desire S
Actually no, its not much of an upgrade, but if you are happy with the Desire, you could upgrade and get a Desire S on a even cheaper contract.

[Q] Rplacing a lost phone

I managed to lose my precious HTC Sensation XE and am wondering what is the best thing to do to replace it...
I have briefly looked on Ebay and the going rate seems to be 300-350 UK pounds. A brand new one from a reputable store 400 UK pounds.
I read on an Ebay page that one seller had a careful note of all ID and serial numbers in case anybody returned a phone that was not what it was when origanlly sold - which alarmed me that some may be selling fake or rebadged phones in some way.
[Questions]
Can an HTC Sensation XE not be a real HTC Sensation XE?
What is the best way to check if I buy one on Ebay?
What are the horrible cons I should be aware of?

Yes It can, The only difference between NORMAL and XE is Beats audio, The NORMAL Sensation has 1.5ghz processor (but it has been down clocked by HTC to 1.2ghz) Whereas the XE hasnt. I Have a NORMAL Sensation, but with XE ROM so you would never know....
Check the sellers feedback, Look if he has sold several of these phones and make sure the feedback is positive.. I Would avoid buying from overseas... Like China (massive for fake stuff)
CONS -- There arent many cons, If something seems too good to be true it probably is... Always Make a safe and secure payment via paypal, that way if the seller is dodgy you can claim your money back...
Keep your wits about you and you will be fine, A lot of these phones maybe unwanted upgrades, Ive done it myself in the past..... Get an upgrade and sell it for £300 - keep my current phone which i am happy with - everyone's a winner
Not everyone is a scammer, But they are still out there.....
EDIT: The NORMAL Sensation is quite a lot cheaper than the XE, So if i was you i would Buy a NORMAL one and get Flashing some XE ROMs.. Save your self some money
Grand advice azzledazzle, thanks.
I particularly like the cheaper Sensation option - I hadn't actually considered that, but as I'm not now tied to a provider I won't worry about breaking the warranty rules or whatever so this makes perfect sense - flashing ROMs will be the way to go from now on...
Although I have just looked at the HTC One and I'm very tempted to order a new phone instead.

Worth getting?

I original have the Nexus but they lock my web2go a month ago so now I am seeking new phone that can be used. From what I understood, Sensation non-tmobile brand and Sensation XE would work. Are they worth it and where can I find a good price on a international Sensation? I am also pondering on N9. Since you can add andorid on it and i am pretty sure tmobile will never block it but no ics support.
Another thing I am consider is that I will most likely receive a Titan II from the ms contest and I can unlock it and use it as 2g phone. Which is pretty tempgin as T2 is a pretty sweet phone.
well, from my personal opinion after being using Sensation XE for more than 2 months and with amount of time i've spent jumping from ROM to ROM, this phone is well-worthy for you to buy, even when i am not a phone-switcher kinda guy but when i want to buy something, i will researched and do comparison with my friends' phone.
as of for now, since HTC One is around the market, i would suggest you get that one
Well, keep in mind it need to work with web2go..... XD Now sure how MUCH will htc one uk version cost lol
