Hi,
I am new to programming and would like to know if there's an API available so I can lock the screen orientation as sometimes at night I may be using many apps and have to hold the phone at a funny angle or sit up.

You cannot change it for lock screen. No Api
---------- Post added at 10:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:19 PM ----------
How did you get the lock icon ?
I'm really interested in this, too. Could you share that, day2die?
Sorry I forgot to elaborate. Those are the few shots of Tango that we have.
Okay, now I got it
This will be a feature included in Tango...I think this means that we'll have to wait a little bit. Looks pretty good. Fits into the Metro UI - not too flashy or something like that. I like it!
So, do you work for MS, day2die? Or why do you have Tango that early?

Hi XDA! You might have seen my previous apps, PulseFlash and PulseCompass which was made in the process of learning Android app development. This is once again made for the same reason.
This tiny Calculator app was made Graphics Designer new to the app development scene, thus it is very clean. I've utilized most of Android's framework, making this app fit right in!
This app does not require any permissions.
jfeinstein10 for his amazing SlidingMenu library.
A lot of folks over at Stackoverflow.
@SpaceCaker who is my personal Android Wikipedia, didn't help me in this case, but awesome guy anyway.
Cyanogenmod's calculator - I had a peek on how to do some stuff in there.
The main source code is available at my Github, I did not share the graphics, nor styling files. Feel free to use the code, but please do not recreate my app, or something very similar and then share it publicly.
Please do not mirror - I'd like to track my downloads
nice works as always ..and very nice theme

Hi.
I have tried over five different roms for LG P930 (CM10/11, AOKP and a custom rom). All of them have that ugly, useless and pointless "notification bar ribbon". Is there a way to get the nice and usable switch widget from the second picture? Is it a part of a theme, rom itself or any other?
Please, need your help. Just blew my brain with it

Hi,
I not sure if you can change that. It's built into the roms. If the second screen shot is from the stock firmware, then that is probably the only way to have it. But feel free to ask in your device section, maybe I am wrong.
> LG Nitro HD > Nitro HD General
Good luck!

Also, check in settings, somewhere about notification panel... There may be options to change it, or disable it even.
Cm themes can change it too, if the roms support themes.
Thanks for your reply, KJ.
The second screenshot is from my HTC HD2 running SlimRom.
Noticed I was in xda assist somewhat late.... srry
Hi,
Noticed an issue with my Honor 6, when I have a dark image on the screen I have noticed that some of the pixels have gone weird. Not quite sure how to explain it but please see the photo!
