[MOD][BOOTANIMATION]Galaxy Nexus Boot Animation - Kindle Fire Themes and Apps

Here is the Galaxy Nexus Boot Animation. Ported to work with the kindle fire.
**REQUIRES ROOT FOR A FEW MINUTES. YOU MAY UN-ROOT WHEN DONE!**
Place on SD Card
Use Root Explorer or similar to navigate to /system/media and rename the old bootanimation.zip to orig-bootanimation.zip
Copy galaxy-nexus_bootanimation.zip to /system/media
Rename to: bootanimation.zip
Reboot
Enjoy

Thanks for this worked great.

Maybe you should search before posting... I already ported this.

It's okay. The one on XDA isn't too bad, however if you mistype you have to wait 20secs or something.

can i put this on my nexus s?

ty very much!!!

Does someone have the nexus s bootanim ?

Would this also basically work for any phone, or would resolution differences cause problems?

How come it is slow at the beginning and then gets faster

How to make my own zip?

I'm keeping up with the CM7 nightlies. I always change the lock screen sound to a TV like sound and I change the bootscreen to the nexus X. I do both with root explorer just after flashing.
Is there a way I could create my own flashable zip to change just these two files? They are both in system/media.
Thanks.

Can you get the wallpaper from the same place you got the boot animation?
They're all right here:
mydroidworld.com/forums/nexus-prime-forum/9641-nexus-prime-wallpapers-ice-cream-sandwich.html (copy and paste to address bar..new user, can't post links )
Note that you'll need an account to download them. Just rename the .zip to .apk and install it as an app.
Here they are in zip format, so you can just download them and use them without installing the .apk: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1297586
No mydroidworld account needed.

1. Take iPhone 4S battery cover off.
2. Take iPhone 4S battery out.
3. Reinsert the battery and cover.
4. Go into 'Android' mode by holding the 'Home' button along with the 'Camera' button.
5. Once in Android mode simply find the update.zip and flash.
6. If you have any problems, call HTC Customer Support.
ENJOY!
/s
Oh man.
I'll see what I can do. Maybe editing the build.prop a bit and changing the Model Number to "iPhone 4S" will do the trick. I'll PM you once I figure this out. Take care, my man

Just out of curiosity, is this the same one used for the nexus 4?

Didn't mean in the apk. Apps have 2 areas I know of. One is where the apk is data/app and the other is where it saves its data. Cache and things. Data/data? I think ghats where it is. Take your time though, no hurries.

I was able to find the actual bootanimation.zip by using the search function of the ES file explorer app. It's located under /data/local/moodle/. I'm not able to pull it from my phone right now, but it should be pretty easy for anyone with access to a root explorer app.
