Just flash with CWM ... blah blah blah... at your own risk ... blah blah blah
Very nice icons, I love it.
Just curious, if I use your .png files and stick them into framework-res.apk for 2.3.5 will I get 1% battery or it still will be %5?
[EDIT] nope, still 5% Oh well, it's not this easy as just adding more images...

strange, but what kind of Rom are you using? It's for stock 2.3.6 only.
task bar gone
Mine disappeared too, I am on 2.3.6 but its not stock.... too bad
Just did this and it works perfectly! Muchos gracias!
I used the kitchen on my stock 2.3.5.

Quick question (apologize if its a dumb one!)
If I install this mod, and want to go back to the original, do you have to re-flash the whole stock rom? I assume this just essentially changes one file in the system, so just curious... Thanks all for your advice/teaching as I learn about how all of this stuff works!
That's why you ALWAYS nandroid backup before flashing ANYTHING. If something goes wrong, you can flash back to the setup you had 5 minutes ago.
Working well on my phone 2.3.6 stock. Like it a lot.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using XDA App
just tried flashing this on Super Stock 2.3.6 and it didn't work. The status bar disappeared. just a FYI!
On the 2.3.6 UCLA3 ROM/Kernel/Baseband
This mod put me in a bootloop with Android System FC's.
Thank god for backups through CWM.
Did you try to apply it over the brand new 2.3.6 update (UCLA3)? If so, it wasn't made to work with that ROM version (it was made for 2.3.6 that came out around December).
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727
Yep!
That would be it. Any chances for a UCLA version?
It's pretty easy to do on the UOT kitchen website. There are instructions on which files to extract and uoload. There are a bunch of different pre-made mods for the battery icons that you can use, and then tweak further if you like. When you're done, with the mod, you upload those files, and a few min later you can download a CWM flashable zip file to install the mod.

You should be able to. Any of the kernels that work on nfinite's ROMs should work on this one as well. As already suggested, nandroid first!
i haven't applied the OC yet. what i noticed is the OC kernel isn't undervolted. i think i might just keep it at stock. honestly i haven't really seen a change in my battery life. im still about to go from about 7am to midnight or later on a full charge. so far so good. i dig it.

Sounds ok, i'm going to try this out to see how it runs, i've been running cm6 for a while, and Zenhero 2.0 so i'm still looking for the right one. I'd make one but I have no time.
Alright, this was my first attempt at changing a theme, I basically used the bluesteel w/puzzle lock found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=957590
and added some elements from a port of REDrevolution found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=963161
and from GINGERred found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=961492
Thanks go to the original creators and modders of these themes, Tortuga1234, nitsuji17, bdemartino, bigloof, edint3000, built2rail, and phidelt82 and anyone else who had a hand in any of the forementioned themes.
You must have leaked uscc 2.2 installed with a deodexed ROM (i.e. PicknPack)
MY EDITS/CHANGES
Changed color scheme to red
replaced icons in numerous apps
edited google search colors
added ginger red swype
created new icons for the dialer pad
list of apps edited:
Browser, clock, contacts, dialertab, email, gmail, gallery, google quicksearch, mms, settings, swype and touchwiz30launcher
NOTICE: if you are using any other version of touchwiz 3.0 (I.E. sgs tools) this will overwrite it bacause I made some edits to a couple of icons

Boot to Recovery (Disable lagfix if enabled)
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Install zip from SD
Reboot (boot will take awhile since dalvik was wiped, get used to this )
I'm not sure what i did wrong but after booting up my status bar didnt change is that included in the theme or is that seperate
Hmmm..not sure, it should have changed everything. I just reinstalled pnp and then downloaded this theme and installed and everything is just right. Are you using 2.2? Installed pnp? Disable lagfix?
....Well...now I noticed I have no battery...weird, everything else is fine, but I installed the blue steel, and everything stayed red except for some icons, and I had my battery back...Im gonna re-flash back to 2.2 and reinstall everything and see what happens with a fresh system....will update again.

If you haven't reflashed already, try just waiting. For no obvious reason, sometimes when flashing themes over each other they will leave stuff behind, if you wait like an hour a lot of times it will fix itself.

Hi
as icons of the bat we were left wanting to change something else, I have been trying since and this is the result, as has always been mounted on the Gb Wolf_Xperia_6 rom 2.3.3 for anyone that interests you, do not know if may use other rom, I hope your comment to know that it works or not, it's my first job, so do not be too demanding.
to install you have to be root and have xRecovery, so we'll have to restart the terminal and start the xRecovery, once on the main screen select Partition tools, and here we selected (which see) Mount / Mount System and / data , and we look for the Install custmer zip the folder where you have previously saved on the SD, installed, we went to the main screen and Reboot phone, a few seconds (can be a bit more than usual lake) the new taskbar appear, and you're enjoying it.

Wow Great ,i like your work, and downloading now
anyway, can you make the blue one ?
i think it will nice combination, black and blue
Hi All,
I have gained a lot from many others' hard work, so I wanted to give a little something myself.
credit for the original battery mod which i edited the colors of goes to gbzbar who posted his battery mods in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1421180
the .zip i posted here works and looks great in ARHD 6.5.1 with latest base. i assume it will work in any other 4.0.3 sense roms.
Roboto font looks a ton nicer than the standard font used on the stock battery mod. And I think the blue is a nice change from the green stock. It matches many other parts of the rom and newer apps. The color for the top of the battery mod is the same as the stock ICS blue. Mod is blue down to 30% then turns orange and red, as standard.
hope you all like it!

So if I read this correctly it requires a custom kernel? You can't just flash a normal stock kernel one?

nope you must have a custom kernel installed before flashing or it will not work.
how back to stock after flashing this?
can we increase the speed on these? and set them to loop?
Im using the green tabletroms, it is very slow and only spins around once.
I know it can be done, just havent had time to look into the desc.txt
I had the particle one on my Dellstreak7 and it was blazing fast
P-6210 custom kernels?
OK- I have used the search button, and searched the forums but I cannot find a custom kernel for the p6210 except for Garys. Are there any out there? Unfortunately Gary's breaks my Wi-Fi with the OMG Rom Final Release-

well you will have to install the kernel after a fresh install of stock firmware i know its a pain but its the best thing to do
