I just found this online. 50% off AT&T phones. The only problem I see is that it's for new customers or for adding a line. I want to upgrade. Maybe this will help someone else.

Yup, I got three of them last week - Amazon billed my credit card $.03 (three cents). Now that was a hot deal.....
I give up! I spoke with my local AT&T store. I pleaded with an AT&T agent over the phone. I even tried to get the guys at Best Buy to match the 50% off, but I'm not adding a line. I'm just not going to get one until the price comes down. For the record, this is the worst Cyber Monday I've ever seen.

Anyone know what the price is going to be without contract?
I contacted an AT&T retail store and they didn't really know, but had read that Samsung posted $350 dollars on facebook. That seems low to me.

Yes! The price is $350 without contract! That's very nice, I'll check tomorrow my local AT&T store to see if they have any in stock already as some people already bought it.
I'd love to go get one tomorrow, but I go to an authorized retailer and there is one person in particular that I deal with. She's always treated me well, and they are a lot nicer than AT&T retail stores. She is out of town until monday I guess I'll be waiting for my phone 'til then.
The one thing I know nothing about is how to load custom roms, as this is my first open source phone! (first had symbian, then iOS) I am excited to see what else is out there.
If its only $350. I'll be buying this Phone off Contract ASAP.

So i'll sell mine for $250 shipped. $475 for the pair. They are att&t. But also one of the easiest phones ever to unlock. I'm glad to do it for anyone that wants it done before shipping. At the moment they've never been out the box.

Not sure how to respond. Because your absolutely correct. No one has any reason to trust me what so ever. And theres no way to change that. But my options are this or ebay. They have lost tons of value as it is because of the length of time I've had them. I'm sure I could get 500 on ebay, but by the time I pay their fee and paypal s fee for the money transfer and the shipping cost I might have 425 left. If you've sold on ebay then u know. And we all know what they cost so the thought of selling a brand new galaxy s for $212.50 seemed crazy. Wasn't sure what to do. I dont need the money but they'll be worth nothing if I continue to hold on to them. Its ok if u dont trust me.

Ha. I didn't know. I'm sorry I came off wrong. I was just trying to get rid of a couple extra phones. I know nothing about "scamming". Can we just delete this post? Just bought a second one for my wife. I'll keep these until the Galaxy Note has been out for a month or two. Loving that 5.3 inch SAMOLED. No reason to go to the SGS2 that I can see. It is awesome, but not that much better than the Captivate.

Sure there is. I havnt sold in a couple years(another reason why I shy away, so much has changed) but i remember paying an extra .25 just to have a pic posted during search. Extra charges if you use alotta pictures. And the charge just to post, and the extra if you sell your item. Things of that sort. My accounts havnt been activated in a while. I went back to paypal the other day just to update that accout. New bank and such. Because i bought a few accesories for the captivate I use now. If the person thats interested perhaps lives in southern VA or northern NC maybe we could meet. I live on the line midway (Halifax County, VA) Or if there is someone you really trust on the forum I could send the item to the first. And when they get it they can let you know. Then I could recieve my payment. Of course it would have to be someone of high standing. I would hate to get ripped off myself. Just know I'm not here to scam anyone. I could take pics of the items if it helps. At least you'd know I actually have them. Beside a printout of this post so you know i didnt just copy a picture from the web. I'm trying here guys. I'm an honest person. I dont care if I sell them now. I guess now I'm just trying to build a little trust.

Yes, they typically offer the option to have it shipped to you or to pick up in the store.

It may just be at stores... As long as it comes to my home it doesn't matter to me.
So other than the issues with outright returns, do you give anything else up buying from a non-corporate store? I've only ever bought from the ATT store so don't want to get surprised by something if I buy one of these from Radio Shack.

Any way, Best Buy is sometimes known to throw a page up with an inflated price until they get the official price for it. I'm hoping that's the case this time too. Especially since Sprint doesn't even have a page for this phone that I can find let alone a price.
Otherwise, $900 is way too much for this phone and I won't be getting it. Even $800 is a bit much.

Yeah I think they did this with the LG G5 too before that was released earlier this year. Also, Sprint is going to be doing a promotion where you can trade in any smartphone with mopre than 10$ in trade in value for 200$ in credit, although that might only be for if you get the phone in an easy pay or lease option and not a full buyout thing.
I am waiting on T-Mobile for their page to go live for pre-order. If the price is that same as on the other carriers, I will have to stick with my V10 or try out the Axon 7 til the price drops below $650.
Also, if the carrier doesn't offer the B&O headphones ... I will have to pass.

It is already confirmed that LG is offering pre-orders in the US a pair of the H3's. As far as I can tell, they haven't really excluded any major carriers on the offer. Not sure if those who don't pre-order will get them or not. I assume "quantities are limited". So you either have to bite the bullet and get in on the pre-order if the headphones are important to you or wait for the price to drop and forgo them if price is more important. Hopefully the price won't be so bad though. I have heard Tmo pre-orders could open on the 12th (already passed though), 14th, 17th or 20th.

Sprint has had a coming soon page for a week now. Yesterday I was lucky enough to see a lg rep in the sprint store with V20 in hand. Sprint and LG are launching on the 28th.

Well, we don't have an actual MSRP from any other carrier yet besides AT&T. There's still a slight chance that the other carriers could undercut AT&T. Hopefully. The only place I hear about QA/QC problems with LG is in hardcore Android forums and it only really seems to be a few very vocal people. Certainly, I'll keep my eyes open but I'm willing to ride the odds in favor of no issues. But if Sprint can't put the phone in with the rest of their phones when they have the iPhone plastered everywhere on their site, they'll never sell it then wonder why. Then again, having met the Sprint CEO in the very bar I'm sitting in right now, I'm not surprised. Doesn't seem any carrier is really trying all that hard though. AT&T has their demo model off in another corner away from the other LG phones in the stores I visited. T-Mobile has it listed on their site with the other LG phones but that's about all of the exposure it gets from them at the moment. The reps are definitely psyched for this phone though.

Actually, the Best Buy site now shows 24 months for $30 which is $720. It also shows free BO headphones and a $200 BB gift card for any qualifying, working, non screen damaged phone.
What's the chance for us early adopter to get a refund? Or are we Sol?
The facebook post says early adopters get a 200 dlls coupon. That could bring the cost of the phone to 300!
They better release the dock before then. =/

While it's nice for them to offer this to us early adopters, it really doesn't benfit us unless they release the dock or other accessories by Dec 15th.
Well, my wife is really enjoying her phone... May pick up a white one for 299 with the code...I think that it's a great value at that price...

Still waiting on them to release the gray and green version. Already have the phone so I am waiting for the dock and or smart home hub. It's nice that they at least gave us early adopters a bone. But without new accessories it really is a waste for us. They have dropped the ball before, so hoping they don't do it again. :/ They have allot of potential I just hope they get there. Also hopefully the lower price leads to more developers jumping in on the device and helping to get the developer section in this community going.
Oh, to have one of those codes. Id then go out on a limb and buy one of these great looking phones.

I literally bought and paid for a phone off ebay saturday night. the seller shipped it and said he would not work on price.
I want to be able to get a coupon but i'm afraid that "someone" will have already claimed it or essential will not honor it.... If anyone is in same situation, please let me know if you were able to get the coupon.

Bought mine on swappa 4 weeks ago, just sended the email to essential so now I'm waiting for their reply, I'll let you know.

I did not. the seller had the phone until this morning. i asked for the IMEI and he said i would get it when it comes in the mail. so basically can't make the request until i get the imei. i have sneaky suspicion that he may have claimed.... he knew all about the promotion when i sent him a message.
I am just going to get another phone.
I don't think I'm going to bother with the charging pad if they release it in time seeing I keep the phone in a case anyway.
Sent out the info for my credit to Essential, and called Best Buy this morning and got them to price match the new price since I was within my return window (the credit has already shown up on my card).
So I got $200 back from Best Buy and will get $200 credit from Essential. Sweet.

How did you get them to do that? I haven't bought one, but if I can get them to knock another $200 off the 499, that'd be dope!

No, I originally bought it for $699. Got best buy to price match it back to $499 after the price drop.
