Hi everyone,
I'm new to the i9001 but I have quite some experience on i9100.
My wife just got this new phone but it's branded. I'm ready to unbrand+CWM+root but I'd like to dump all the stock carrier branded firmware that's on the device.
I know that I can nandroid it but, since I didn't found this firmware on the net I'd like to pull it from phone and make it available to whom needs it.
Can anyone please help?

Hi. I hope you can help me. I have managed to screw up the firmware on my O2 based Samsung galaxy. I am desperately looking for a copy of the o2 firmware ( I9000ADJM1 ) to reflash the phone with to reset it completely but cannot find it but you appear to have found it or so it seems.
I have hunted on the internet in general and can find many version of the galaxy firmware but not this one. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to get the O2 firmware to put into Odin and reflash my phone back to it's original state - rather than loose the phone for a week or more buy giving back to O2 to send to Samsung to try and fix?
Thanks
Max
Hello everyone,
I got kind of a little big problem here myself.
I have installed another rom, the one froms doc's (exactly BUJP8) and now I want to return to the original firmware, like when I received the phone, simply because my phone is all bugged now(can't connect to Bell service), and I want it to return to its original state so I can use the warranty at the store I bought the phone without problem.
So are there an way that I can return to the original FW, I thought I had done an backup with clockwork, but it doesn't seem so...
Thank you very much.
Hi does anyone know where i can find an original optus 3g rom. I need to return the device to optus for warranty, but i cant find an original optus rom anywhere.
I got the device brand new a week ago, it came stock standard as 3.2.
Ive currently only found a telstra rom,the device works fine, but the rom places a telstra app and changes some settings on setup i.e homepage in bookmarks, so would be no use.
Basicaly i need a way to bring my device to stock standard so they wont know.
Thanks for your help
Hi,
I am hoping somebody can help me out. I need to unroot my phone and put it back to completely stock ROM so that it looks as though it has never been rooted. I am not running a custom ROM, however I have removed things from the stock ROM (stock browser, SMS and probably other things) when I first bought the phone so I need to be able to get those back. I assumed I had made backups of them using ti, but apparently I haven't (who knows what I was thinking).
Anyhow I am hoping maybe there is someone here from New Zealand who can tell me where to get the official Telecom XT stock ICS for the Atrix 2 MB865. I assume I am right in thinking if I flash that and then unroot it will be just as when I bought it? If theres anything I am missing here please let me know.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
I have just been given this link elsewhere

It appears to be GB though, does anyone know if I will have any issues if I flash this, given I have already done an official OTA upgrade to ICS
It seems like most advise against flashing back to GB. And no, there doesn't appear to be a TNZ version of the ICS firmware available.
I've always flashed this firmware 6.7.2_EDEM-18-MEARET (in firmware superthread) to get back to stock. Works fine on my Telecom Arix 2, just have to add the apn of whatever network you're on to get 3G working.
It will restore fully to factory settings, no root or anything.
Hi, I am going to explain something, but I know it would not make sense to you guys.
My friend who has a Samsung Galaxy S2 SM-T989D, got that phone from a friend, and I pluged the phone to my computer. The phone was with a cellphone carrier called Telus (In Canada), and the phone got bricked because I was trying to load a JellyBean rom on it because my mom used to have that same S2 (got it from the store, not from my friend shane friend) and my moms old S2 (same model number and everything) had Jelly Bean on it. 4.4. something. Anyways. Shanes phone got bricked and I found another software to flash on his phone and I used ODIN, and not his phone looks like its with T-Mobile (a US carrier). My question is, that, Since his phone was carrier locked with Telus before I flashed a rom and bricked it, does that mean since his phone looks like its from T-Mobile locked with T-Mobile? Does flashing a rom change the carrier of the SIM???

i have never seen a rom change the sim itself.
if you manage to flash another carriers rom, as it seems you have, and it doesnt brick your device (fairly common), the phone is going to report the new carrier because its coded into the rom.
