So, what's this 145mb update ATT is pushing? I went to download and install, but it said it couldn't be completely (probably because of the custom rom).
Just curious if anyone knew what it was.

Can't do pic evidence, but typing in att infuse update (google) brought this up http://www.androidcentral.com/att-samsung-infuse-4g-update-available-no-its-not-gingerbread altho it is from Sept, and there could be a newer one, I just found the numbers coincidental

My sincerest apologies, but it was the sept. maintenance update.
I jumped the gun because i remembered already loading the september update, but soon came to realize that since then i had wiped and installed a custom rom on my device.
As for the size, I just got overly excited and miscounted the digits...

Already is, since AOSP based roms (like cyanogen) and phones run 2.3.5 and the HTC version for the Thunderbolt is 2.3.4. Anyways, one doesn't stay stock and expect to be bleeding edge (unless you have a nexus phone).

Well, duh! They said early on it would be Q2, and it's only June 92nd.
Just did a random software update check in the settings and it connected up and is doing a big download right now....could it be?

The unbrick is UCKD3? Don't quote me on that, but I know it's a D just not sure of the number. And sometimes the software update doesn't work the first few times you try so that's most likely all that happened, haha.

I'm sorry guys be gentle. I have reverted back to stock probably 15-20 times at least and almost always do a software update check and this is the first time ever it actually said there was one and started downloading. Went through the whole procedure and then it was still froyo. I have no problem whatsoever with a mod taking this thread down.
And once again I apologize. My only intentions were to get the news out as quick ad I could.

Umm the last update of GB before it was pulled, was through Kies...I would think the next official would be through Kies. Have you done anything to your phone since yesterday? I can't you how many threads we've had like this after ppl restore to factory and get a froyo update...

I was getting the same thing earlier this evening (also running 2.3.6), but now when I check it says "current software is up to date."
When it gives you that message, it just means that:
1) You're using data
2) You can't connect to their servers.
