[Q] Cases and car holders

Hi
My DHD arrived about an hour ago, and I now need to get some protection for it and a car holder.
I currently have a Brodit passive holder for my Touch Pro 2, so will probably replace that with the passive Brodit holder for the DHD.
I'm probably looking at something like this for protection: -

But does anyone know whether the DHD in that sort of case will still fit in the Brodit holder?
If not, what's the best compromise to have a protected phone and a car holder - am I looking more at a pouch to carry the phone in?

I may be wrong but I thought the Brodit stuff was designed for a "naked" phone since the holders fit the devices very snugly.

magnetized car holder

Has anyone got any experience with any type of magnetic car holders, witch work with the vision? Im looking for a car holder with a windscreen suction pad and on the other end some kind of universal magnetized pad that clings to the aluminium back of the vision.

I have found this but will it be strong enough to attach to vision to without sticking the extra magnet to the back?

aluminium is not magnetic metal...

The one drawback is that the side arm blocks the micro USB port on the Vision, so you cannot have it charging.
I had to hack a solution by drilling a hole through the arm. Works great now.

I found this car holder while looking for a car holder that I could use that did not use a suction cup on the windshield. THis has a different mounting system that works GREAT on my BMW.

Help with finding a holster

I'm looking for a front facing cheap holster so i I can take off the back clip and attach plate for Aukey magnetic vent car holder. Any suggestions?

Case for magnetic car holder

What is the best case to use when you have a magnetic car hold and you either want the mag built into the case or at least have room to slap the small magnet between the case and the phone?
