Fancy Widgets

Havent seen much talk about fancy widgets in a longgggg time so here we go. Its an amazing app, the clock looks just like the sense ui weather/clock. You can use launcher pro plus to get the calender and facebook/twitter widgets and then use this for your clock/weather on stock vanilla android and have all the looks of htc sense but the performance of a stock android.
You cant download the app from the market anymore because of copyright issues, but here is a link to the .apk file. Just copy it over to your sd card, and use astro or another file browsing program to install it. Doesnt require being rooted or anything. You would think more people would be using this being that its free and looks 100000x better than beautiful widgets which you have to pay for. Let me know what you guys think!

GOOD=sharing the wealth
BAD=sharing the wealth where it was not permitted 3months ago and is probably worse to bring back up and post for sharing again....
good idea;bad execution. we cant share warez,banned apps, or apps that were banned 3 months ago....i could be wrong though....fwiw.

but what probably IS kosher is posting themes for fancy widget. anybody got a black one?

I just swapped out the files from a modded sense clock widget and put them into the fancy widget apk. then signed it and done. Took under a minute. enjoy

well if it is against the rules then tell me and ill remove it. I figured since its not an app thats in the market with a price tag on it that it would be ok to post it?

Thanks for the modified clock. Would love to see a transparent clock with no weather panel if you have time.

Some of you whiney babies need to get some nuts.

works but goona test it more

Its amazing. And that song changing animation is too cool. But its getting force close whenever you open new songs from album.

Having problems with this
Firstly it doesn't support QVGA(Doesn't cum properly in my phone)
Secondly when u use the music widget to open it it force closes.
Overall it is the real thing but it doesn't support QVGA!!!

Doesn't work on the Dell Streak5 - images are too small. I think this is a resolution problem as Teeter has similar problems.

works on orange boston but both menu (at far left & right) are always force closing the app.

It just like the interface of htc music but there is a resolution problem and too many force closes....Hope it works on urs!!!!

What this is a root out of a htc phone with a different res. so if it's layout is huge or tiny it is not meant for ur device.....but it's res. can be changed however it will always be laggy

Doesn't work on Atrix everything is too small and it wont play any music.

If it doesn't work on ur device just post the screen res. and by work i mean images are too small or sumthing like that maybe we can work it out

Loved the look and feel of this on my Optimus One. Wish it worked better - too many fc's and the widget doesn't work.

cuz this is only the player there is another widget apk on htc device for htc music.......I will post the widget shortly cuz the music widget won't work with this.....

Working on Samsung Captivate, but having some problem,
1. Everything is too small

It's called OMC...One more clock. And I think the theme is chrome rings? or something like that.

The real widget is from the Moto Atrix HD. It's here on XDA somewhere.."Atrix HD Widgets".. Main caveat of running it is you have to run the launcher that comes with it. I haven't tried it on the S3 yet to see if it will work, as a stock launcher in any form is a no-go for me.

No, One More Clock widget is the "real" widget and has been out for quite some time; been using it for over a year. Motorola "adopted" this widget and implemented a few changes and enhancements. You don't need to be on a specific launcher and it even works with Android versions down to 1.6.

It works with any ICS phone, if your running a jb rom you cant add the widget, it wont let you add it from the widget drawer

I long pressed my home screen then chose the widget category them picked the omc widget.

yes, if u like it simple to use and silmple looking
no, u like the way to use swiftkey with theyr own desing and way to write
( i personally like it MORE than swiftkey )

It's OK if you like the ultra sparse look, but it doesn't swype anywhere near as well as Swype and it doesn't predict anywhere close to Swiftkey. Once swiftkey rolls out their swyping version soon, there will be no competition.

figured it out, had to stop the existing gmail process first and then install the gmail apk
Now, wondering if it is possible to get the google voice app from the 4.2 (i know getting a bit greedy here)

Actually, I suggest you check out Keymonk Keyboard (free and paid versions available). Unlike Swype, it has two-finger swiping functionality, I find it much faster to use than regular Swype.

A minor bug/problem :
When tapping the create new message button, the animation is missing. I know we need to be on Lollipop to have that cool animations, but there is no sort of feedback that u tapped the button. Even in new gmail app tapping on the create message button gives a feedback..
Again a very minor problem..

I think there nothung missing. According to AP wgen they reviewd. Messaging app is the one with thw lowest number of animations and gfx transitions. (I maybe wrong).. Compared yo gmail which is one of the most beautifully modified along with calendar

I see no emoji's when I click on the built in emoji icon. I use Switkey and the emoji iocn on the keyboard anyways so it isn't a big deal at all. Just mentioning it.
