New gTab and questions

My wife surprised me last night and took me out to get my gTab a week early! I brought it home and charged it, played with the default installed for a bit, and as we all know...it was awful. I proceeded to install VEGAn b5.1.1, that went as smooth as one could want...15 minutes and I was chugging along on a MUCH better/faster interface. The issue I am seeing now is there are certain apps (not Angry Birds) that aren't showing in the Market. I can't seem to find ADW Launcher, Facebook or Launcher Pro. Any thoughts on this? I cleared the cache and user data when I did the install so I don' think there should be any lingering issues there.
Thanks
Scott
When they are talking about clearing the cache and data for the Market fix, they are talking about clearing it for that app and not the full cache/data wipe when installing the ROM.
Menu/Settings/Applications/Manage Applications and then select the All tab, scroll to find Google Services Framework and Market. You clear the data/cache of those and force stop them. Back out to the main home screen and try to access the Market again. It should error out....reboot the device and after it boots...just wait for a few minutes. Try the Market again...it should ask you to accept it's terms again and hopefully show you more apps then before.
It's just one of those things with having a device that isn't supported by Google and hacking the Market to work.
LauncherPro is one I've seen appear and disappear in the available apps on my Gtablet running VEGAn 5.1. Without real Google support, even tricks and hacks can only go so far.
Luckily for me, I have a Motorola Droid and use that to grab anything my tablet doesn't see and then push it to my Dropbox account and get it from there for my tablet.
Most things I can see with all the Market fixes, do-overs and what not. My test being LauncherPro....saw it once...then it never appeared again after many "fix" attempts. That particular app is also available from the developers site ( http://www.launcherpro.com/ ).
This (using Dropbox) really works well since my other tablet will not boot so once I nvflash boot it....it needs to stay on. Market fixes (requiring a reboot, etc..) aren't possible, so Dropbox has been awesome for that tablet.
Two things that may help
Bluetooth File Transfer might help.
I put this link up a few days ago because I had the same problem.

Also, This video really worked for me with getting full market (roughly 98.9% really) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7l-ny...eature=related

Tried this again and it did the trick! Thanks! (Must have missed something the first time I tried).

[Q] Disabling Market/Google Play apps reinstall

I have found a couple of posts about reinstallation of the apps after a new rom have been flashed, I think I their questions are the same, but they seem poorly explained and therefore no clear answers have been given, so i thought the way to go would be to pose a clear question.
When Google Play/Android Market have been used to install an app, it is remembered by Google under "My Apps"... When the phone has been reset to factory settings, or a new ROM have been flashed, Google Play starts to reinstall almost all of the apps in "My apps".
I have installed a lot of apps in the past that i don't wont to use anymore, and don't want on my phone taking up space, but google play tries to install them anyway in the background. Even if i kill the Play app while its doing this, it just restarts and keep going until it "thinks" its finished.
Does anyone know of a way to avoid this?
It takes longer to manually uninstall all the unwanted apps than it takes to flash the new ROM... So annoying!
Thanks in advance!
when you start your phone up for the first time after flashing it, you will come to the android welcome screen where you have to tap the android to continue, then it will ask you to set up your account with google, so go ahead and sign in once you have signed in on the next screen you will be presented with some writing and two tick boxes they will aski you if you want to back up and restore previous apps you have downloaded of the app market unselect these and your problem will be solved hope this helps

[Q] google play

I was wondering is there a way to ignore a update for app in google play or even away to set it to always ignore the update
Open play. Then open settings. Then turn off notifications.
google play
I mean just for certain apparently not all.
Try this...
Go to my Apps
Hit the application that you don't want to update and them hit "update".
When the apk starts updating, click the "x" and cancel the update.
After that, the update will be only manual for this apk.
Hope this help.

strange situation with play store

i read various posts about play store but i did not find something similar,
so here is my problem,
Play store load, download and update normally from my smartphone (Jiayu G3S)
Sometimes i want to download some apps from play store from my pc (windows 7)
Always i was following this steps.
When i found my favourite app i hit the install button and hit again in the button which says
that the app will install soon in my smartphone.
So i am waiting in my smartphone but 2-3 days nothing happens....
Suddenly when i open playstore from my smartphone, apps are start downloading!!!
Also installation finish normally as always.
If i am not open play store from the smartphone does not start anything,
so finally if i want to install an app, i must start search again and installation works only from the smartphone....
I try all the solutions (clear cache etc) and nothing come better
Any ideas?

Google Search Bar has stopped working

I am unable to get any search results for the last few days.
I have cleared cache and cleared all data but it's still the same.
I've uninstalled updates for Android System Webview.
I've tried deleting the widget (by moving it to the top of the screen) but it won't move.
Any idea how to get this to work again?
GO TO APP MANAGER AND THEN SELECT GOOGLE APP.
THEN CLICK FORCE STOP.
IF THAT METHOD NOT WORK FOR YOU TRY UNINSTALL GOOGLE APP AND REINSTALL IT[FROM GOOGLE PLAY DON'T INSTALL FROM APK] OR LEAVE GOOGLE BETA PROGRAMS

Thanks for your help.
Uninstalled from Google Play (updates uninstalled) made it work again.
An update appeared for Google, I updated and it's not working again. There is a problem with one of the latest updates by the look of it.
How do I let Google know that one of the updates is causing problems?
GO TO PLAYSTORE AND GO TO GOOGLE APP THEN SCROLL DOWN AND THEN TYPE A REVIEW AND POST IT
YOU CAN ALSO REPORT YOUR BUG TO GOOGLE BY ANOTHER WAY.
GOOGLE HAS A SITE TO REPORT GOOGLE BUGS YOU CAN TRY THAT WAY.[IT'S EASY]
FIRST GO TO THA SITE AND SELET YOUR PROBLEM AND SUBMIT THAT FORM TO GOOGLE DEVELOPMENT.
HERE IS THE GOOGLE SITE LINK----https://www.google.com/appserve/security-bugs/m2/new
