16 Digit Password - HTC 7 Pro

Anybody has the 16 digit password for the CDMA HTC Arrive? Or does anybody know how to find this password.
I seen a lot of the Samsung Password around but i can not figure out how people get them from the device.

This is how you find the SPC for free. By the way this works on all the HTC phones.
By the way i am not a cricket user i use boost mobile, but if we all work together, we can get more done.
Open cdma workshop connect to the port the phone is on and read the phone.
Now click the terminal tab enter this into command box 41 74 64 77 61 6F 70 then click send!!
Now click the security tab and read SPC the current SPC should come up.
if anybody knows the HTC 16 digit password code please post it here. It is needed to help us add this to boost mobile.

WormsWorldParty Button Fix

How to fix the button issue with games like worms world party on pocket pc
Install buttonfinder (freeware) on ppc and use it to get the codes for each button, when you press them one by one. (codes are like oxC1, just write down the last 2 digits.)
Install Skhexed (trial) and open it. open wwpsave.dat file from the worms directory on your pda.
the file need to be edited to make the game understand device buttons.
Find line 104 (or 109 for some devices especially hp). the line would seem like that:
---> 104 00 00 C1 C4 C4, (if line 104 seems like that: ''104 00 01 00 00 00'', then you have to search for an other line with the codes C1 etc ,and that would usually be the line 109. In that case the line 109 looks like this: 109 00 C1 C3 C3 00)
the 3 codes (Cx, x=number) would be usually in the last 3 colymns but maybe in the inner 3 ,like above. Those codes represent the buttons codes, used for fire, jump and jump2. (from left to right) and we have to change those codes with the codes we had written down from buttonfinder.
Save the changes and enjoy!
On some devices (especially HP like mine, but other brand also) that may dont work, or work for one or two buttons. in that case,the codes need to be changed with CC instead of C1, CD instead of C2 etc.

I have uploaded the .dat file modded for Universal,simply download it and replace the one you have on pda.

[IDEA] Finding unlock codes..D2G!

As u all can see,I'm a newbie here and also in android...A few weeks ago,I bought a Motorola Droid 2 Global from ebay,but it was locked,i've search many forums and can't find a way to unlock it manually,i did know that it was possible to unlock it with unlock codes supplied by verizon and other 3rd party vendors,and of course,the amazing turbo sim..But still the unlocking issue is one of the major problem in almost all of the mobile forums..
I've known that softwares have been developed for SGS and SGS2 to find the unlock codes,but why not for D2G??...is it harder than other phones?? I don't know anything about it,but I've some ideas to have the unlock code.This may sound stupid to the great developers,but I just want to share my ideas :
1.Since the unlock codes provided by verizon and some vendors work even in the place where verizon network does not reach,this made me believe that the unlock codes must be somewhere inside the phone(firmware etc.) to match the unlock codes that we typed in,so maybe there might be a possible to find it like we did in SGS2 with an app developed by Cainfire and Odin.
2.Brutal force : As i'm actually not a developer,i don't know how to create or develop an application..please don't expect me to do this..lol ..Will a delevoper be able program an application that can risk out the unlock code like that of a facebook hacker do it by a method called brutal force..as far as i know,the unlock code used to be 8 digits,and so that app wud risk all the 8 digit number till the correct one comes..
These are just my stupid idea,I shared them hoping that someone someday wud be able to develop the application...Thanks!!

It's also not stored in some “plaintext” form; when you input the correct code, it gets saved into that memory area and the algorithm that verifies the code tells the baseband “yeah, it's alright to register on all those other networks”. The unlock code isn't compared to its “correct” copy, rather, it's input into an equation, and if that equation works out, it's considered correct.
There is no way to handle the code input box with some application. It happens inside the Blur framework (and sure enough you cannot input the unlock code if you aren't running stock firmware). Moreover, there's a significant delay on code verification, and after a certain number of attempts it blocks for 10 hours. 8 digits is 99 999 999, i.e. 99M possible values. Let's say you get 100 attempts (well, it's actually 10) before it locks out for 10 hours. So even if you manage to get an app to enter the code, this means you'll need 1 000 000 * 10 hours = 10 million hours to unlock. That's 416667 days. 1141.5 years. Are you ready to wait a thousand years while your device is looking for the right code?
Be fair! You are assuming you have to try all combinations, on average it is only half, so we are talking about a much more reasonable 570 years.
(Of course, if we revert to 10 rather than 100, it becomes 2,850 years). This is ignoring input time between the ten hour lockouts, but that is probably negligible.

Yes, but then you need to hack the boot loader... And there you're looking at a lot more years of brute-forcing compared to the mere 1200 or so GY calculated...

[REVERSING] Old Android stuff

Hey guys!
Just figured out that with the new Android Developer page, Google made all the oooooold releases of the SDK available, including the ancient Milestone 3 and Milestone 5 (Astro Boy and Bender) releases. These are the ones what had the original Cylon style boot animation, and I decided to grab it.
Problem is: none of the current APK reverse tools support or even recognize the old magic header. The dex header is the following:

I really want to reverse this, only for the Cylon code, so if ANYONE knows a solution, please, post it!

Yeah it's been confirmed by Rockstar on their website. Kinda disappointing but oh well. I'll try doing some more modding this weekend, I've got a few papers to write for class that are due tomorrow.
This should come in handy for people with devices that aren't as powerful as some of the newer models

Who know, there is txd files on gta3.img. I think it on gta3img.dxt.dat and other dat files, but how open this?

I copied with iFunBox files of GTA VC (iPhone4) to the hard drive but on Sanny Builder 3 after adding Additional opcodes, is it looking for a GTA SA Directory and is not accepting GTA VC backup from my hard drive( Documents, gta3vc.app, Library,... in a Folder). Im using VICESCM in VC Folder of C:///Sanny Builder

This might be a pipe dream, but anyone here remember the PC mods for this game? I wonder if they still have a big IMG file with all the models and textures... if that was accessible and compatible with all the existing car and weapon mods... that would be spectacular!

I remember it... I spent hundreds of hours modding it
There is no gta3.img file. It has been split into few smaller containing txtures. models etc.
I hope someone could look into the Marina car garage mod, that one is so nice! I only can't seem to get it in GTA VC...
Edit: I tried decompiling the main.scm in SannyBuilder but I have to choose a 'valid' game directory which I can't seem to set... Can anybody help me?

Hmm. Well there is a gta3.img file is the good news, but it only has .dff files, no txd texture files. I cant seem to find any archives (that i know how to open) with the txds! =[[ i WILL make it work haha. i hope.

That's a sync with an internet time server. Android does it ten times a day. Nothing dangerous here.
