Nice!!
It still laggy sometimes and has some random fcs but its a good idea.
I recommend to add and option for the bar to show just the recents apps and not show that notification when service is running.

The app is genius, just missing : the ability to change apps size and start it from lockscreen. It's really smooth and fast on nexus s 4.2 no lags at all :highfive:

I see you got the idea from not only ubuntu but presumably TSF Shell as well It's really great and I'll definitely buy the full version when I see some basic features added.
Also I'd recommend added support to add shortcuts to your favorite webpages, folders of applications, add a task killer, and be able to customize the look and feel. This is reallly great though, I just gotta say 5 stars man!

I have the same problem.
It would only allow me to launch system applications such as "contacts" but now 3rd party apps... So I reinstalled it, even on a different ROM and now the icons don't even show up, the trey is just empty. Any thoughts? Then when I raise my finger to where the icons should be, it force closes. Thanks!

No, the gestures are fine. I just can't choose which actions should be done with the gestures.

I did this already -.- everything is working fine except the problem I described above. It seem like this feature did not get unlocked. I also reinstalled the app but it didn't solve the problem. I still can't change the gesture actions.

I still like GMDGesture Control the best. That app is just so versatile, I use it with Slide Launcher and getting to anything I want from anywhere can't be easier. Plus it's the only app that truly kills pesky apps running unnecessary background processes if you setup a gesture for "kill app" function.

I have one little sugestion that I can't find in any other "side bar launcher app" and I hope you can help
I'd like to have feature to open not only apps from sidebar but also 'shortcuts' and 'activities'. Something like you have in Nova Launcher - that you can for eg. run Slide Over activity with a gesture from Sliding Messaging App.
EDIT: My mistake! There already is feature to launch shortcuts and stuff! Great app!

Here you have the Spanish translation. There may be some mistakes since it's very late and I don't have much time (I revised it a couple of times).
Please anybody correct me if I'm wrong, but:
In "Disable Touch Areas is selected Apps" I supposed "is" was meant to be "if"
Since I haven't used the App a lot I don't know what "Opening Animation Time" is for (the translation may be different); this also applies to other words.
There is also a punctuation correction.

if your phone is a rooted one, then it will show options like reboot phone, reboot recovery and screen off in sliding menu.. You can even add them to homescreen through launchersettings>Home screen settings>shortcuts..
To access Sliding menu hold homescreen and drag sliding menu.. I solved it and in next version , you can just drag sliding menu without holding screen..

Is it possible to replace the starting widget? Also, could there be an auto detect feature for our location? Some cities can have multiple locations, say Dallas, but they're in different states and there's no way to differentiate between them as they show up as Dallas, United States instead of Texas or Colorado (or Wisconsin).

He shouldn't have posted that. The app should be downloaded from the Play Store only so the Dev can keep track of the number of downloads and issue that are reported.

You can disable defaut widget, it s called top panel.
Go to settings/top/top panel and switch the enable/disable switch. Then you can put any widget you want.
Cities are provided by universal yahoo weather api, so i cant really do something.
Auto location is not planned, but i' ll think about that for next updates.

Gesture will probally come with next update, there will be swipe up, down, left, right. And it will launch apps for now.

Notification count work depending on launchers and app which wants to display notification count.
To be brieve, for example facebook app wants to tell home that there is 3 notification unviewed.
Facebook app will check which launcher is set as default and use an adapted way (Broadcast or ContentProvider) to send notification count to it.
Facebook sends count only to current default launcher, and if launcher is unkown, it do nothing.
For now facebook support only aosp launcher, samsung, sony and htc.
So to receive notification count, solid launcher has to be supported by facebook ... And i don't think it will
A library exists to make job easier to developers, developers just sends unread count, and library take care of determinate which launcher is by default and way to notify it. Another feature I would like it would be to be possible to add my own icons, I say this because I've bookmarked my company mail and added the icon on launcher, but it would be also nice to have the possibility to change the icon for something more "clean".
Either way is one of the most cleaned and diferent launchers I've tried (and I tried them all, or almost). Very good job specially for the new perspective of launchers

YASAN Launcher v3.2.20 WEEKLY [build 244]: The QoL Update! (August 14th update)

• Added an Updating indicator on Home - it will show up whenever the list is being updated, lets you know when the icons are going to change so you dont click on the app right before it changes, it is off by default since this version is optimized and the apps update almost instantly
• Add or remove apps from folders using the apps options dialog
• Toggle folder icons list by tapping on the large folder icon
• Confirmation dialog when trying to delete a folder
• New animations on AI options screen
• New folder button on the bottom of Dashboard
• AI Age value on AI options screen - the age will only be accurate for new users
IMPROVEMENTS
• Major optimizations on reloading home apps, they should be updated almost instantly now
• Major AI adjustments and optimizations
• Improved the UI for adding or editing folders
• 17 new folder icons
• Made the apps list on folder add/edit screen smaller
• If all apps in a folder are uninstalled the folder will be deleted
• If the a new or edited folder doesnt have a name, it will be automatically named "New Folder X"
• Folders button is now on the main settings screen
• Changed the order of some settings on the main settings screen
FIXES
• Fixed crashes when trying to load app icons while the activity was destroyed
• Fixed spinner layouts' height increasing whenever the spinners value is changed if the spinner text is more than one line
• Fixed keyboard opening when opening the Add/Edit folder screen

Thanks! Yes it's planned to be added on the next weekly update. You will be able to add widgets to your dashboard.

To be honest i usually download beta applications for reviews, help find bugs and then delete them.
But your launcher is very well designed and i am already using it as my default launcher.
