hi i use arhd and i used the app ps3 compatibality checker which showed my device is incampatible.
so i was wondering if any one can tel me any rom that can be used to connect the ps3 with the sensation.
i know the rom is cm7 but not sure which one if anyone know any rom please give me the link because i'm just gonna use it for test so please help me with this.
and please only give me the rom name that actually worked with ps3 pad because i think sensed based rom dont work but there are other which work which i dont know about so please hepl me

I currently own an HTC Aria running Android 2.1 . I've seen several posts relating to people rooting their phone and installing Froyo. For all of us who aren't programmers or developers, can someone please write a step-by-step guide to installing 2.2 on our Aria? This is my first forum post ever so please go easy on the ridicule. Take care guys and thank you in advance for your help.

So you dont have a 3G coverage?
Then you need to set up your APN manualy, search you provider website.
I tried what u suggested and still no luck . Do i need to use any different settings for a custom rom?

@people: the guy is obviousely new to the android world and he dont even know what to look for, how do you expect him to simply find everything?!?! the guy asked a question and if you dont wanna, or even cant answer, you dont have to make him feel bad for asking, he might have his own reasons for asking as this forum and the google thing are pretty confusing for starters. and there is a starting point for everyone and not everyone were born pros. i mean he cant even speak english good enough to realize what to serch for.

@spkarimi: there is no direct answer as you can find your most direct and most detailed answers in the [guide] and [how to] threads already posted on this forum, so i tried to give you the most direct links to the information you may need. here they are:

basically to flash a rom you need some tools, you have to first know them, know what they are and know how to use them, you need a noticable amount of information on such things, you need to know what root is and how its done specially for your phone, and then you need to know what you want in your rom, you need to be able to recognize different roms and you need to be able to choose the rom you want, then read the rom instructions and then flash it, and there are different and unique ways of flashing for different phones and different roms, and you must be very careful as it can badly harm your phone if not done properly. dont go for risky tricks and betas and stuff unless you know what you are doing. it can be very hard at first but then youll find it very easy, just keep searching and again, be more than careful... i personally have gotten VERY close to bricking my phone but i was lucky to have a hardly brickable odin phone, otherwise id be all screwed! lol

U basically have to use superoneclick root and then MOVE the Xrecovery files to your system/bin foLder reboot, spam the back button and install a custom rom which u can find here.

Considering I'm completely new to this I dont know what you are asking or if this root/unlock situation will be a bust. From what I gather from this site it seems pretty easy. I know that I am running the stock os on my phone though. Ive downloaded busybox and Samsung Galaxy unlock as well. Are they good apps? Also do I need any drivers? Where do I look in the info you sent me for the link (sorry if it seems like I'm asking dumb questions)

If you have trouble with your drivers you can download Kies Mini off of Samsungs site and Kies will install the right drivers for your phone.

I know some of you guys are tired of hearing this question but I really need the right help because I've been browsing over the several threads of rooting the G2x and I'm really confused because there's so many ways to do it and I don't know which one is best since now my phone is upgraded to 2.3.3. I also don't know which ROM is the best. Can anyone help me how to root and which ROM to use in your opinion? Sorry that I'm a noob!

I know there must be a tread somewhere explaining all I am about to ask , but I don't use XDA often. All i wanted to ask is just some general knowledge about Nexus 5 roots and roms. Are there any official (non- Beta) produced by developers already? How does the rooting work ? Maybe a link to some videos? Maybe a guide or something? even a link to a tread... I have experienced duo booting long time ago for My HTC Hd2 but it was a Sd Card rom so I am kind off a noob in this department. All is appreciated.
