Thanks for the suggestion,
Maybe we'll add these features in the next releases,
Just downloaded and I really like how fast it pulls up all my saved apps. Would it be possible to have the option to sort my saved apps? For example sorting alphabetically, date installed, etc. Thanks for this!

just went back to stock 2.3.3 and the market update didn't kick in yet and i realized how much more i liked it than the new one. anyway to prevent it from updating?
yes, easy
just go into market
go to settings
select Do Not Notify
done
never mind... i just realized you wanted to prevent market itself from updating.... instead of the APPs from updating
by installing any CUSTOMized Android market will effectively prevent it from updating itself
so you can go install one of those color changed or themed ones over the stock one
you need to be rooted though
ok gotcha. I didn't know if they would stick or not. thanks

Yes it can be make to not update market version. If using cm7 or stick. Look for market update. Use titanium to freeze the market updater. I have a themed market so I delete it and update market manually to new themed version.
oh nice I didn't even think about that.

This technique does not work for the newer 3.xx versions of the Market.
Does anyone know how to get the newer 3.xx versions to NOT auto-update?
try deleting it?
make a backup.
Give this a try, it worked for me. Go in to terminal emulator and type exactly what you see. Then go to the marketplace app in "manage apps" and press "uninstall updates."

Solution that worked for me
You need a superuser access. Go to the /system/app/ and find MarketUpdater.apk. Edit its permissions so that only read access for the file owner is checked. Resulting file mode string should be r--------.
Then uninstall market updates (Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications. Find there Market and press Uninstall Updates).
This also prevents market from crashing on CM7.
I tried freezing with Titanium backup, clearing market data via manage apps & also the terminal way mentioned in this thread.... i even deleted the marketupdate.apk & still no joy!
All of these m running a themed 3.*.* version, does anyone else have any solutions to this problem?
Hey everyone,
i have just published my latest creation: Nandroid Browser.
Nandroid Browser has a really simple purpose: Extract and use single files from your nandroid backups.
* Browse your nandroid backups
* Save files anywhere
* Send files
* Open Files
Easily install single apps from your nandroid backups.
Easily email single apps and files from your nandroid backups or send them to your dropbox or wherever...
Currently supports nandroid backups stored as yaffs2 images (.img) as wells as ext4 images (.ext4.tar).
Should work with ClockWorkMod (CWM) backups and many others that use standard nandroid...

Just published an update:
v0.1.1:
* Better support for tablets
* Better compatibility with more devices
* Better compatibility with unrooted devices
Thank you all for the great feedback so far!
looks promising!
but unfortunately the market says its not compatible with my HD2
Any change for the apk?
@tomoffel well that is really strange. There shouldn't be any limitations except that it needs Android 1.6+ is there anything special about your HD2? i know that normally it doesn't run Android. Maybe it's something about that...
I'll attach the latest version apk to the first post.
i have just published version 0.1.3 which fixes a permission problem with the provided binaries
and a new update is here
added progress dialogs to the send and open actions
Great idea would be cool with search function added.

It would be awesome if there were a way to restore folders. For example, I left my icon pack on my internal sd card and would love a batch way to get it back.
This is app is already saving my ass though. Keep up the good work.

Feedback
Just installed it...
1. Please change sort feature so that folders come first, then the files.
2. Image thumbnails (especially the wide ones) are squashed.
3. Does "backup apps" feature require root access? If yes, then I think you should mention it.
Other than these, a very nice app!!! Keep up the great work!!!
It seems that can't back up the apks which have been moved to SDCARD

Hey some may have this already as I've been packaging it with previous work.
It's as close as I cold get to the new Xperia Digital Clock Widget using various font combinations along with Red Wizard's DCW available from the market.
DO THIS:
1. Place apk in System app folder & set permissions.
2. Launch application and set settings according to screenshots.
3. Select widget from desktop.

you tell me how to setting permission..?
Hey monk, first of all are you sure the app is not functioning properly already? There may be no need to mess with permissions depending on how you installed it. Otherwise to answer your question I'm hoping you have root access because it would be necessary to set permissions manually. I'm assuming you do and have dropped the app into the system/app folder with Root Explorer or equiv. If so and you did in fact use Root Explorer just navigate back to the root app (use Root Explorer to system/app/digitalclockwidget), long-press on the app then select "permissions" and check all three from the top down in the first column, only the top box in the second column then leave the last column fully unchecked(sorry I'm on vacation and do not have a way to post screenshot). Alternately you can use ROMManager and just select Fix Permissions to allow it to perform this task for you. The manual method is well worth learning though so I recommend trying that first. If you do not have Root Explorer you will need a file browser that allows root access. The version of Root Explorer that will allow root is paid but well worth the investment. It is an invaluable tool I use on a daily basis. There are others and if needed you could probably find something for free to get the job done, I recommend Root Explorer. Currently on vacation for another week week but I will try and check back to see if I can help further. Good Luck and let me know if this helps. earbrain

Hey guys,
as some of you might know, deleting system apps can be a nightmare. I developed an application that simplify this process. All you have to do is select the apps you want to remove and the app will automatically delete everything (no TWRP, no reboot).
The app is free, OPEN SOURCE and without ads; it requires root and it is compatible with Android Oreo down to Gingerbread.
Your list of deleted apps can be exported and shared with your friends.
The idea behind this project is to create a community where people share their lists of apps selected. I've created a bunch of lists HERE for the most popular phones.
Feel free to UPLOAD your list, any help is always appreciated. You can download the app from the GOOGLE PLAY.
Don't forget to hit the thanks button, thanks! <3

Thanks for your effort

Thabks for your work man! I am on pie with my p20 pro, but for the life of me cant get your app to have root rights. There is no root provilege popup coming. Also cant add it in magisk :/
Any ideas what i do wrong?
Thanks
I've removed all verizon apps preinstalled on my Moto Z force at last!! Thanks a lot! will share it app with my friends
Does it permanently delete them? Anyway to backup the APK's just in case?
LG G6 @ Stock Android 8.0.0 with Magisk, not working. I have BusyBox installed but after reboot apps are still installed. I can help by sharing info if it will help to make this app better and succesfully uninstall unwanted apps.
Excuse me... a question... how the attached file is used, for example: "Samsung_Galaxy_S7.uninsSystemApp"
What's the way to work with this file? I hope a simple text list with the name of the unistallable apps.... Thank you!
Finally I found the app that lets me remove all this pre-installed useless apps! Will download it right now!
Great job!
If somebody prefers to uninstall the apps one by one, there's a list anywhere? Thanks
Finally an app that ****ing works. Thanks, OP.
