I'm on doctorz 8.1 right now, and i am unable to send or receive mms..
If i try and send one, it just says sending and never stops. I received a text from rogers about an update, and it never downloaded, and it was 20kb
is there any known fixes to this?
I haven't really been playin with apn settings, but i know where to find them.

I don't send MMS often, but I've noticed that I can no longer send or receive MMS messages. They get stuck in my outbox or come in with a message saying they can't be downloaded.
When I first got the phone, it worked fine. Now, it tells me that the images are too big to be sent (don't know where the 100k limit came from), even though I only use the cell phone camera to take pics and i have to compress them. After compressing, it still doesn't send.
What should my settings be? Where do I find these settings?
Anyone?
Could I be having this issue because I use the Tmobile $5.99 internet?? If so, can someone tell me what (if anything) I can do to fix it??
Hi guys, I don't seem able to receive MMS on my NS4G. I get a message and notification but when I try to download it, nothing comes through. This has happened with three separate messages so far. Is this a Google Voice issue, CM7, or GoSMS?
For some reason since day one I cannot send or receive MMS messages. I am running fully stock. When I send the message says sending and wont send, and when I receive one it shows downloading and will not download.
Can anyone suggest a fix for this?
I searched around and i found a similair post on reddit about this. The only way to fix is with a factory reset in settings. I did this and sure enough my mms worked.
Just bought a Honor 8 for about a week and still finding my way around it. I had a LG G flex 2 and the honor is so much better. Anyway I use Hangouts to send SMS and MMS. Just notice I can receive MMS but not sending them out. I can use the default Message App and it sent out MMS just fine so it is not the Access point problem. Anybody ran in this problem and how do you fix it? TIA.
PS. Still waiting for OTA update to 7. L04 in US with T-mobile.
maybe you should re-install the configuration settings .. contact the service provider
I am on T-mobile and I have the same problem. I can receive MMS within Hangouts, but cannot send one. I am on Nougat, though, and I noticed this problem only after the upgrade (probably because I never sent an MMS before the upgrade).
If I install Google Messenger and use it as my SMS app, it does not display SMS conversations correctly. All SMS conversations are labeled as "unknown sender".
I also use MightyText to send text from a computer, and any SMS sent from a computer does not show up on the phone.
It seems that Honor 8 has a bug related to SMS/MMS...
As the title states. I am using the settings that where sent to the phone and when I try to send a txt it pops up a box telling me when there is an internet connection it will send it but it never sends. The internet on the phone works just fine, can browse all day. PLS HELP, I have 60 days to return the phone and if I cant send or receive txt or mms then its no use to me. The soon I get it figured out the better. Can anyone share their APN Settings for T-Mobile..
