I would like to draw everyone attention to this beautiful launcher.
Is there anyone who would be able to dump and make it usable for other phones (something like Xperia Arc Launcher which was made to work with other phones)?

Is this phone even out yet?
Either way, would love to at least try it (launcher, not the phone).
Looks like WP7 but better! Well at least I think so, would love to try this!
Ya, this info bar launcher is rili fantastic. Rili hope some experts cn develop this and we might be willing to be the beta testers..
I am getting the phone and hopefully will be in hand by the end of next week.
Any instruction on how to get the ROM dump is greatly appreciated.
WOW I wish we could phones like that
This is the launcher of my dreams! Me wantz it!!!
We need a vertical scrolling launcher like this which isn't a WP7 clone, since too much space gets wasted in WP7.
I don't know why all launcher developers are fascinated by horizontal scrolling launchers. I guess because iPhone does it that way. What's more natural is vertical continuos scrolling page with apps and widgets, just like on this launcher.
Me needz it now!!!
I`d love to use this launcher!
some japanese people on XDA? If so, please:
1)Buy phone
2)Dump
3)Upload
thanks
cache51 you can try this video tutorial but i am not sure it will work for any phone
http://androidforums.com/optimus-m-...ll-adb-drivers-pull-system-dump-included.html
I dont think the phone is out yet
this thread needs to be seen by some dev's! please port this to some of 'our' devices!
so impressed by this UI, those asian guys always come up with something extraordinary, incredible!
already out in JP but it seems never be rooted...
Link? if its less than 700 I ll consider buying it
I was able to get a white one and it arrived yesterday.
Couldn't find usb device driver for it to get a system dump.... adb says -- device not found....
It cannot be activated in US even though it supports both CDMA (800MHz) and GSM.
Finally found the driver on Sharp's Japanese website... stay tuned
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
Here is the system dump.
http : // www .mediafire .com/?s90sy14xonxanut
It is created with the following procedures:
1. adb pull /system
2. compressed with 7zip.
I can also help with porting the UI if required. I am familiar with Linux system and Java.
Since I am new to the forum, I am not allowed to post links. inserted some space and see if I can get around this restriction
Thanks
Downloading right now.
let see what I can do
Seems hard to port to HDPI/MDPI Res anyway...
EDIT:
Dude, it seems that it have huge framework dependencies...
looking forward for porting our android phone
but it seems very difficult
huh, well, i was trying to find this info too, but i have the phone coming in the next few days, i guess i'm a day late, dollar short.
keep us updated!
I tried to activate on sprint and tmobile....no luck.
it would work on tmobile if the phone were unlocked, which it isn't.
i have been using it on wifi for a day and wow, the UI is really great.
there was a system dump on a few post back and someone tried to look at it, but with no luck I guess.
how do we get devs to look at this??
Hello guys (Gods maybe) ,
Before I made the switch to Sony Xperia, I had a Sony Ericsson s500i and there was a theme there called the "everchanging" theme.
Now I'm on Android and I've been searching all over for it and I cant seem to find a theme or live wallpaper of it which sucks because I really loved it
Given the fact that Android is so highly customizable I was wondering if anyone here can tell me where I can find such a theme or the steps that I can take to possibly make the theme myself? (although I would really prefer if I can find and download it, since I don't like messing with system files and all that)
Attached are some of the pictures of the theme
THanks for any help
Yes, i would like to find the same theme in Android.
I try to make or find Everchanging theme in Android but nothing.
It's dommage...
:crying:
need some good themes
Can you suggest some good themes for xperia sp? Thanks in advance
Make a group on Facebook to vote for get everchanging theme back?
I am thinking to do it or anyone else did that already?
Hallo, just to share my opinions about new xda forum theme aka xda theme 2015. Since theme is set default on non loged users, everytime I must scroll page down in order to change theme to theme 2010 since only theme 2010 is looking corect on internet explorer on windows xp! Theme is not good, it looks like child's work and its shame for xda having these theme look on an very reputated forum. My apel is... please change default forum theme variable to the theme 2010! Please look into attachment for how 2015 theme is looking in my browser! Its very ugly, code divs have bad size, baners is over page, colors is undefined...etc...etc!
Anybody going to chech new forum theme? It iritating me all time when I come non loged to the forum.
10 days and nothing new?
It looks like you are using IE6. We support IE 7,8,9,10,11 in the new 2015 theme, plus most versions of chrome and Firefox. Please use another browser and everything will look MUCH better.
Hi, I am using IE8! I can not use another browsers since I am using IE for about many years and I can not use another one I think problem is caused by baners since big baner come over forum text and whole forum looking very ugly (probably baner have missing one of the html tags and cause forum theme malfunction)! About baner thing you can see in attachment, hope you solve problem at least make theme 2010 to default for non loged users!
Any update on this?
About a week but stil nothing new related to problem with IE8 and forum theme 2015 ? Anybody going to fix bug?
Stil nothing?
Nothing about this?
I'll post it here because I've found out a (stock) Xperia Home version that seems to work just fine with Lollipop on M2.
I know that one can subscribe to the Xperia Home beta program in G+, but those are bugged, first of all they do not change the folder aspect and other assets when applying a custom theme made with Theme Creator. The final result can get quite ugly. I obviously tested them myself.
Anyway, this is the thread in XDA explaining how to install (and uninstall, which, believe me, could become a mess) it.
Personally I prefer the Lollipop Home with the left menu panel. No sure why Sony has got a rid of it. Still, the icons work and it gives the phones half of the Marshmallow look.
Greetings! Just joined! Let me start first by saying, thank you for xda and thank you all who contribute and make it the best place to find new cool things for our android phones! This site is one of the most important ones for android stuff. Amazing.
First, the background story:
Im a Sony lover ever since i bought my first Sony Ericsson t610 as a kid (still one of the best phones ever created ) and kept with the brand ever since.
Currently i own Sony Xperia e4g (E2003) on KitKat 4.4.4. Thats all the tech stuff i know about it. xD
I unlocked bootloader, have TWRP as recovery and is rooted managing with SuperSU.
I extremely love the UI of it but no infinite scroll is really bugging me. I found a temporary solution by finding this amazingness:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2103403
The original question simplified:
Can i somehow edit my phones launcher and somehow combine with the one i just linked to?
Of course i want to make it so i can install it on a different phone as well, if and when i buy a different Xperia phone.
The issue i have are that i really dont like some UI elements, I just want the functionality. Im a minimalistic/simplistic kind of guy so Xperia has the perfect UI for me. And no, no launcher gave me any substitute so far, i tried most of them.
I want to try and build my own launcher combining the best of both and maybe as i learn and progress, add even more cool stuff.
But for now, im kinda looking to port my phones launcher and add functionality from another.
Can someone help me achieve this or point me in the right direction?
Detailed changes im looking for:
First, i want to port the launcher so it works on other phones.
Add infinite scroll.
Keep all the design elements (i guess png files, maybe im calling it wrong) and only fill in elements from the linked launcher to functions that my launcher doesnt have by default. Ill design the rest of the elements to fit my phones launcher theme.
I want to remove the Z launchers app drawer top items and switch it for the stock one. Much less intrusive.
So, in essence, keep the look from E and add the functionality like, self close or open last functions from Z.
You can check the difference here for the app drawers:

The E has a much cleaner look. I want it by default, i would add settings to choose the style from either E or Z.
Id keep the E look and just add the functionality buttons that Z gives. Id redesign most of those icons to fit the theme tho.
Desktop settings, Home and NavBar buttons.

Id also like to edit the navbar buttons themselves and change them to now new triangle, circle and cube. But id also like to switch recent apps and back buttons but i dont think thats possible from within a launcher. So ill figure that out later.
And for last, i would switch the bar on the bar icons with the one from Xperia T launcher but i cant find a download for it and dont own a T version phone.
Please help and thank you for your time reading this wall. xD
