Speed decrease after Swapping kernel

Had ziggy's latest bfs kernel with the latest virus Rom. Then I switched to adrynalyn's bamf 4.1a and noticed my speeds decreased dramatically. Any thoughts on this?
The pic below shows speedtest results with the last one at the bottom being the only one done with ziggy's kernel and the rest with adrynalyn's.

Sent from my HTC Thunderbolt
I just switched from TeslaCoil to new Virus rom with Ziggy BFS kernel and I've noticed my 3G speeds are less than half of what i was getting. My 3G icon doesn't disappear randomly like it used to but it is noticeably slower... I wonder what could be causing this...

P.S. before anyone mentions benchmarks doesn't mean much. they're pretty fun to see where they go.
just like seeing the TF101 up on top way past Galaxy Tab 10.1

Is this MK802?

I have recently bought this Android 4.0 HDMI TV Stick that looks like the famous MK802 but doesn't have any branding on it.
The specs are 1GHz / 512 / 4GB however, the major difference is that it is not pre-rooted.
i'm not sure how to root it and flash a custom ROM.
the performance is nothing commendable and I get a lot of app-kills (not FCs). even simple games like Rope Escape are laggy and using Flipboard is a TASK!!!
any help about the device and how to improve / overclock it will be greatly appreciated
here's the webpage for the device:

Hello, today I want to show you my homemade kernel on kylepro (s7580), about this to the point, what has been added and which bugs:
---> The kernel based of the SandPox (minor changes):
-------> Added a lot of governors, eg: lazy, perfomance, ondemand.
-------> Added my own logo.
-------> Overclocking up from 1GHz to 1.2GHz!
-------> Built-in file format system: NTFS (!Experimental and NOT TESTED!)
and now bugs:
---> There is at the moment, and I hope it was not.
Screenshot of information about the kernel:
HERE the folder with the files .tar for Odin and source code as .zip

Can I install an rom with different kernel ??? :confused:

Hello I have a alcatel pop 3, installed TWRP and a rom CM12 UNOFFICIAL.
More'm having having trouble seeing video in 480p, they freeze and only get audio.
The rom itself is very good bothers me a lot that fact. Looking at XDA found this rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/rom-stratum-os-mt6580-kernel-3-18-xx-t3398122
It is the same processor from my device, KERNEL intrigues me.
It says that the rom is for kernel 3:18, the kernel of my device is 3.10.
Can I install ??? If I install will give problems ??? Its change my kernel ??? If so, how do this ???
