How to change miui launcher with Go launcher or Vice versa.
I am using cmiui ROM and i want to change miui launcher with Go launcher.
I have install go launcher and its working but miui launcher is there
I want to remove miui launcher and install Go launcher and optimize the ROM so can any one guide me for this kind of issue ?
If any one can tell me steps what to do for customization of ROM then it will be grate help to me.

if you are using go luncher as default then the miui launcher is not eating much ram. (once you restart after installing go launcher)
you can however also remove launcher.apk from/ system/app
i am too using go launcher and am happy with the setup

Hi,
I can not use "Settings - Personalise" in Android Revolution HD ROM 3.0.0.
When I click on it, it goes back to the main screen and nothing happens.
I testet it in German also in English.
Any ideas?

Personalize does not work with custom Launchers. Go back to sense launcher.

yeah, if you have ADW or Go Launcher it will bring you right back to the home screen.
Download home switcher from the market and switch to Sense and then click on Personalize. You can switch back to your launcher afterwards

btw. I forgot, there is no sense anymore, I use the No-Sense script .
yes i really like cyanomobile and cyanogenmod r6 but i didn't like the default launcher and i want to change them and make something like Launcher Pro , Zeam Launcher or Nova Launcher as default lanuncher and delete the default app please is there any way to make it ?

First install any other launcher,make it ur default and then remove adw launcher using titanium
Could not find nova launcher on play store !!
NOVA launcher is only for phones with Android 4.0+ (or CM9)

Im not getting i just delwted the tw launcher in sys/app and copied the launcher pro but its just closing when i clear the memory in task manager..i made it default rite then why its closing
1. u can install LauncherPro from playstore/apk and then press home button and then check the box "set as default"
2. or u can try push LauncherPro to system/app using rootexplorer and then delete ADWLauncher then reboot. dont forget to Mount as R/W
Download 'default app manager lite' from store and then select your default launcher

I want to remove TWlauncher from my SGN. Is there any possibility to do this? On GB roms Titanium Backup works perfectly, but I have problems on ICS- TB deleting TWlauncher, but after reboot it's still on my Note.

Download an alternative launcher (Nova is an excellent option). Set it as "Default" in Nova Settings.
You will still have TW Launcher but Nova will now be the main default launcher on your Note.
I hope this helps. Please hit THANKS if it did.
NB - if you are using an alternative launcher and want the TW Launcher removed, sometimes you need to go into Manage Apps and Disable the TW Launcher. From there, use TB or Rom Toolbox to remove. it should be "grayed out" in your App List.

Hello, I'm following one this tutorial on how to theme your android phone like a boss and it requires a launcher backup restore and that is for Nova Launcher but my phone is only Gingerbread and only ADW Launcher is the only applicable for it. The tutorial include the backup restore file but ADW Launcher cannot restore NOVA's backup file so how do I do this to make it applicable to ADW?
