Finally, a keyboard that keeps up with my thumb! Now if only I could get the speech recognition button to function ...
Edit: the updated version in the Market fixed the voice key.

It works great. Nice and smooth!
What killed it for me was the fact I couldn't use swype with it (Unless there is some kind of setting I missed but i doubt it)

I'm surprised this hasn't been post or maybe I just missed it.

thanks. downloading now...
btw it's in the marketplace.
Needs a little help yet on the speed. I will continue to use regardless. Awesome that this has been made!!
You guys should look at the other android forims here. I've had this all day.

Check that. Seems that I just had the app locked up on me momentarily. I had to app kill it and bring it back...
it is kind of slow but very cool.
Sent from my HERO200 using the XDA mobile application powered by Tapatalk
Yes, it's in the market and it's a lil slow. However, it's not bad for a first release.
Yeah, I just saw this for the first time today too, and downloaded it a few hours ago. Pretty slick!!
very nice thanks

NICE!! I was wondering why an app like this was not around... Guess I should of done a search.. LOL
Thanks for the info!
I don't know why people are saying its slow. no problems here. Running DarchLegend 4.3.1 on network (not wifi)
Edit: ok, forums with lots of images are slow, and my major beef is there's no way to download pictures
Sent from my Heroc using the XDA mobile application powered by Tapatalk
I was gonna ask why this wasn't around already lol. Nice find. Thanks!
I might be crazy, but I like the android browser.
you guys really cant brose a forum on a mobile browser? dolphin does a fine job formatting for my phone screen
Downloaded this morning. Needs some speed improvements, but alot easier than using the browser.
It is a nice app but loads much slower than the browser at this point.
Also it needs to be able to have favourite forums not just threads.
I browse the Hero CDMA forum much more than any other and it is annoying to have to scroll through all the other selections to get here.
looking forward to updates
speed it faster than browser on my opinion. Could use a nicer UI. bit over all I like it a lot.

Good to see another Vegas person around the forums.
Am I the only one who feels like I'm getting spammed every time someone posts from this damn app?

Hey EVO world,
So apparently, Verizon has a bit of exclusivity on this new Bing app. Even though I felt dirty downloading it and opening it- its the beauty of open source..and here it is attached for you-
Enjoy
Let me know if needs to be on a server or something- or if it aint working..
thank you!!!!! I've been waiting for the bing app!
Thanks for this. Reporting that it works great.

I just downloaded it, and even though I prefer Google by far(Especially on Android), I gotta say it's a quality app, and makes me happy that we're finally seeing quality software on Android. The app is not without its issues though: I tried getting directions with Bing Maps, switched to gmail for a second, and when I switched back my map was reset and directions were nowhere to be seen. Really, really aggravating when you're out and about.
Thanks, vry nice

Anyone else notice that Bing won't work over 4G?
Does anyone know whether this Bing apk 2.1.635.20111202 on menikmatinya.blogspot is legit?
What year is the OP from? Curious cuz I'm wondering if its the same Bing apk I found on xda a year ago or more.
Sent from my PC36100 using xda premium
Not sure how old it is but I must say I like the way the image search is. And lets face it. Its not often MS one ups Google at their own game.

Looks great, very excited for the new updates, especially the sms app
I have a NS4G with ICS 4.0.3 and am getting a lot of FC's with the contacts app when trying to edit a contact or press the back button after viewing a contact. I'll be happy to upload a log tomorrow if interested. IDK if it matters since the updates are already in progress but just wanted to see if anyone else is having this issue as well
Thank you for releasing these as free, can't wait for the updates, subscribed!

Glad to see this project coming back alive.
Glad to see this is still moving forward. I am still waiting for a mostly functional Contacts app that at the very least lets me set my profile picture. As good looking a guy as you are I would rather see my picture instead of yours when I use the app.
Comparison to Launcher7?
What's WPHome like compared to Launcher7?

Looking for a replacement keyboard app. I currently use smart keyboard pro, its decent but looking to make a change depending on suggestions from users. Paid apps are fine, I don't mind supporting awesomeness lol.

Swiftkey X is one of the best out there. It can learn from SMS, YouTube, Facebook. You can theme it. It keeps statistics too, for what they're worth. I'd give that one a shot.
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
I only use smart keyboard pro. Give a few a try.
I use swiftkey x and it's awesome. Highly recommend it.
For what it's worth, I like super keyboard, the keys are the right size and I like it particularly because I can switch between and English keyboard and a Russian one, it can auto correct, you can program abbreviations which it automatically converts to the full word or words. Only complaint is the placement of the period, I tend to hit it when I hit the space bar.
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
I've used swiftkey x in the past and it couldn't keep up with my typing but that could have been the rom I was at the time too. I'll take a look at super keyboard and give swiftkey another shot.

If you're a fast typer go for Super Keyboard, it keeps right up with my fast fingers, good old NES button mashing paid off.
Swiftkey x was OK. I couldn't get with checking if the next predicted word was what I was going to be typing. It really didn't save me any time. I like flext9 personally. Even has a swype feature.

Been using it since yesterday. Its a little low on features/customization but it is very fast and responsive. It could stand to be a tad larger.

I found the size to be great just the; pretty factor isn't really there but thats okay with me as I am trying to keep memory consumption down...
Edit: just tried swiftkey x and was very disappointed. Uses over 40mb of ram that's more than my launcher ffs not only that I couldn't find a way to disable the auto space after punctuation which pisses me off beyond all belief. Skins looked really nice tho..... unistalled and refunded. Wouldn't recommend it. Go keyboard and ics keyboard ftw.

I'm trying out the donation version by him now. I was using the one by vllwp, which worked well. The themes are the look of the keyboard. You can change the way it looks, vllwp version looks like ics. Johntanmi donation version let's you choose the look, the choices are just the same ones all keyboards can choose from, there is an option to download more though.
