This is my first go on the Droid Charge. While creating a theme from scratch is without a doubt harder, porting is not really all that easy either. Font colors might not match up giving you a black text on black background and stuff like that. Porting is actually very time consuming depending on the level of themeing on the original.

what Iam I doing wrong?
I have tried this twice and it is not taking. What am i doing wrong? I have downloaded the zip to my SD card, booted into recovery and installed the zip. I am on Humble 5.0. I have tried this with system mounted and again without it mounted. I am coming from a Blue Neon Plus theme as part of the Go Launcher. Do I need to first be on the default theme? Any help appreciated.

I honestly don't know what to say. It has worked for me coming from any theme. Here's how I install, maybe it will help.
Boot in recovery
Wipe cache
Wipe dalvik
Mount system
Flash
Reboot

I love the theme . Nice job. I haven't been able to install it. When I do the boot animation loops over and over. Is anyone else seeing this issue?
I thought this was an issue if some of the APK are signed in windows vista or windows 7 using the autosign method. Did you happen to do that?

The apks were not signed since they are system apks. Been the same on all my other themes and nobody has reported this. Maybe because I used the autosigner on 7 for the update zip. But why would that cause u bootloops and not me?
What recovery are you flashing from? Clockwork causes problems

I have used the autosigner in 7 myself for my own themes with no problems so that's probably not it.
However, I am running Clockwork, so i guess that might be the reason. If i am the only one seeing this then I ll dig deeper and post back once I find out. There must be something specific with my environment.

Clockwork works along to the advanced menu. I just wiped cache partition and flashed this zip, and it works!!!
doesnt wipe dalvik or battery stats properly. it needs to be updated.
I would use amon ra recovery, but is has a bigger problem with broken md5 sums
Your theme is WON DER FUL, I like it very much... alas I've got a Desire and it's not consistent, what a shame...
**UPDATE: There is a problem where the buttons are to big for the in-call dialer. You need to flash the fix or you can't press the " * 0 # " keys.

Complete with themed native apps (phone, calendar, ect.). I will port to cm6.1 or Nightlies ONLY if requested. I couldn't get theme injector to work properly so ALL of this was done manully. Alot of ripping apart and transplanting was done for this but, in the end, I think it was a success and Hope some of you enjoy it.

That's great. I only tested it long enough to check and make sure all the apps worked and didn't force close. Hope you enjoy it on cm6.1 as much as I do on AOSP.

Splash Of C O L O R
All credits go to the original themer (rel500). I ported this over from the vibrant per a request using theme porter. I had to edit a little bit of xml to get all the text looking correct, and had to play around with some other things to get theme porter to work so I put in a few hours on this and also had to incorporate some icons from the NeonGT port I did to fill in some blanks. Let me know if you'd like any changes made, I'll see what I can do.

Prerequisites:Need to be on 2.2 and a deodexed ROM installed (I.E. Pick and Pack) If you already have a theme on it, you'll be just fine too, keep in mind this will only change what I have listed below, so remnants of your previous theme may remain.

Yes you can always re-enable lagfix, i'ts just disabled as a precaution (if something were to go awry during a flash, you don't want your system partitioned as i'ts harder to restore - this is why we disable it)

You firmware version? Theme was tested in overcome Icar and Jupiter only. This theme must be setup ONLY by Recovery mode. And please, describe the error on your device?

You need to check the " framework-res.apk/res/values/styles.xml" and in there - style named "Widget.SeekBar".

Jupiter! yeah i did it by recovery. the error is sns services and all are crashing and tab is hot booting every 2mins after the theme update.

looks nice I will be downloading this and trying it out... Are creating themes relatively easy? I used to make them for my ipod and would like to personalize my charge as well.
I'm just assuming you apply the theme using CWM? I've just used launcher theme's before.
