How to make OC kernel Stable !

I am using Cyanogenmod 7.2 rc3 by 'asad007'. the thing is none of the oc kernel by squadzone worked for me. Is there a problem with my device or with the custom rom. I have tried almost all possible combinations of max and min frequencies.
Is there any way or a script, which can help me !

try max as 715 min as 245 governor as ondemand
and i have the problem of overclocking it further 715.
i have also also asked about this prob but havent got a sol.

i think...reflashing firmwares again and again has affect made our phone performance low....that might be the reason our phone cant handle overclocking..!!

this could be the reason but i see so many people reflashing their roms again and again like neil.richard and others but their phone are perfectly fine.
i think ours have been defected from the starting only.

Maybe guys..I am right now overclocked at 801Mhz but I have improved the CM7.2 RC4 ROM,and now I get 2020 points in quadrant benchmark and 2100+ (exactly 2167)..which is the highest points yet achieved by Galaxy Fit!...
I wanted to put up this ROM in the development section, cause its very stable,no fc's in camera,no market download problems nothing!..but i can't upload it cause I am on a 2g connection!

its impossible for me to upload it!..But i suggest u guyz to flash Chocobreadv1.2 with 806Mhz kernel and v1.2.2 update!..
its even faster than my CM7!..
Just now tried it and it gave 2085 in quadrant!...Apart from performance its very stable everything is fine at 806Mhz..camera,bluetooth,market,etc...

i want cyanogenmod, it is best, please try cyber cafe or anything in your area to upload, without oc, it is just the UI which has changed...not the performance!
If it is really not possible, then you can tell us the way to make Cyanogenmod 7.2 rc4 by freedomalfa, working !

huh !! cyanogenmod 7.2 rc4 by freedomalfa is working, without any issues, i mean seriously !! we dont have to change anything just download and install it !!
if that is the case, then i'll try it, ! But there were some comments to the post which says that it is just a port of mini, without any changes !!
And do tell me if, i have to do any changes, ;one more thing, is squadzone kernel working !!

welll everything is working fine in thhat rom i mean gapps,wifi,bluetooth,etc but yes u might have to edit the build prop as the rom shows gts5570 but dat doesnt matter much.
and yes the oc kernel by squadzone is working and is stable for me till 715.

[CWM][WIP] Recovery with kernel support

Guys
I just made a cwm.zip with boot.img support (aka kernel)
I have already got a tester to test the backup, and it works perfect
I dont have a kernel to flash yet, so that will be next

This one is also not a permanent recovery like skin1980.

still we dont have the ability to built and flash kernels.maybe it is more difficault for this phone as it seem.we have failed attempts untill now.we just waiting to see....!!!hoping for best!!!!!

won't flash. it erases boot then it says that there's an error. an it reboots to recovery without starting the os.

above file cwm-madteam-galaxY.zip seems to work quite OK.
it still does display version # 5.0.2.6 though. if the other CWM-by-skin1980 was altered, maybe the version # should be 5.0.2.7 or so to tell them apart.
over here, cwm-madteam....zip it is still a temporary secondary recov menu. which is no big problem of course.
later edit: since 5.0.2.8 is out soon, above problem will be no concern soon either.

Was just getting bored nd looking galaxy s2 forum...
In a custom rom thread i found bravia engine.zip....
I flashed it...It says its flashed...nd my phone works fine..
Dnt know whether its working or not.....If its working then enjoy

u have to copy file bee movie nd bee photo from zip..........to system (etc)........
I have checked miui v8 system (etc) nd i found both the files there
So i think it works

The so called bravia engine that was ported to sgs2 was proven to be just a placeboo effect

it is really waste of time this engine is for amoled screen oly..hav been used this long time ago

ok, I see it, but that's on the s2. have you ported it to the i9003 and it's confirmed working, separate from the files posted in the OP? if not, then don't take it personally, we're not attacking you. we're saying the files don't work on our phone, that's all.

i know u r not pointing ur fingers to me. and i only want to let u guys know the bravia engine works with other devices but not only sony's. actually i had replied some more posts in other threads telling them although the previous one was a fake one, there exists a real mod
afaik, it's working with i9000 and s5830 also. and if there is a strong demand for i9003 and someone willing to test for and know how to debug, i don mind to port it to i9003 as well. to be frank, i wish all ppl can use it if they want to, no matter what the devices are. and that's why i asked if any developers are interested to work on this

I'm not good at debugging (yet), but if you explain in clear, concise steps I can do just about anything

Hey doesn't work your bravia engine port on ice cream 4.0.3. with SG2
causes crash the boot screen I hope you will support

How to flash :
- Tested on ATT and Asia verison mb865
- U should flash this rom on an ICS rom(I mean, your kernel should be 3.X, and your stock rom should be ics)
- If you're on CM10, flash via cm's recovery
If you're on other roms, Install bootstrap to flash this rom
- Boot menu manager is not supported ATM!!!!
DO NOT install ANY recovery apps again after U installed this rom
- Wipe/Reboot & enjoy it
Phone will boot loop a few times on reboots and zip installs.
How to boot into CM bootmenu:
- During power on, when U see the led turns RED, press(NOT press hold, just press again and again) the volum key down

i think acc to me he is saying that dual boot is not still supported by rom other than that you can install it on first system through bootmanager
as it is based on cwm recovery only
but beware its just my thought :victory:

No, I think not support this. Maybe U can try using this to flash as a 1st system. I'm not sure about flashing as 1st system, but I definitely sure not support flashing as 2nd system.

no i checked it out its not working in bootmenu give error 7
but it works in bootstrap atleast installed lets see whats happen

I hav a question,after flash the zip did i need to install gapps?

no forks... no code... just putting the right files in the right places and rebuilding using the kitchen. we will have to get the code once you are ready to release, so that we can include those files in the build. I have also updated the APNS and fixed an ril lib issue that we were seeing on the AT&T version of the phone. Once we have the fixes I will up and put a link in here, so that the AT&T users are good, most likely the other international users as well.

This CM10 will supports ATT AT2 or any international phones ?

So far any of the MB865s, seem to work. rdavisct and I only have the AT&T version so we only have that to work with.
To everyone out there, if you want your apn in the updates that rdavisct and I are working, please send me the /system/etc/apns-conf.xml file, and we will add ANY international APNs you would like, just please make sure and tell me which APN from your conf file you would like me to pull and put in there.

I had cleaned up the devices config code, and uploaded to github yesterday, just see the project info. Vendor files need more times.

then use Ardadat's kernel only why you want one more....

I used now beta 3 but i prefered stock kernel. on stock kernel eveythings works ok only it is a problem with multitouch ;/

DO NOT use the stock kernel at all! It has the emmc brickbug and does not have a lot of valuable functions. Use ardatdat's v4.2b6 instead.

Means user can avail the asked facility in Ardatdat's stock Kernel V4.0 for ICS.
BTW have you checked the same in ANgeek new ROM..??

No Buddy. I couldn't get the kernel from MJ. May be he is busy. Will check with him today.

Ok so if i should use another kernel can someone tells me what settings is is best for performance and battery ? Because when i set up or battery drops down or phone very lagging. ;/

I think you must use Ardatdat's Kernel V4.1 6B 1Ghz. & use interactive governor for the same. But do wipe cache & dalvik cache after flashing the kernel.
