Kindle Fire Lockscreen Wallpapers - Kindle Fire Themes and Apps

Here is an extraction from the framwork.apk of the standard lockscreen wallpapers. Some of them are neat so I figured I would share them as a .zip for you all. Additionally, I'm working on writing a guide on how to change these.

I can't wait for the guide on how to change these! Look forward to it!!

(Request) Learning to theme

I want to contribute to xda I have many ideas just no experience. Only thing I know how to do so far is use photoshop and illustrator. I have a lot of experience with both. I have a great idea of a rom I wan't to make but making roms shouldn't 'bee where to start with no experience. So I'm looking for help with learning to theme apps, roms, launchers, or possibly creating mods. I would be more than happy to donate for your help. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Did you remove the words in front of pc36img and place it on root of your sd boot into bootloader? It's not flashable.

what do you mean messed up. did you remove (kewlklass) leaving just PC36IMG.zip, you put that on your sdcard, power down phone , press and hold power and volume down, let bootloader find the file press volume up for update and then again for reboot

trying to push SystemUI.apk with no luck! HELP!

hey guys, im trying to edit a systemui.apk file in Eaglesblood 1.8 rom! I extract the file (i have a mac) and alter the changes, but how do i get it back to correct apk format?? everytime i try and rename the extension, that doesnt work! are there any programs that will do this the correct way? basically, im trying to go from .zip to .apk, but having no luck!
I have root explorer and a mac, just a heads up!
Wish I could help you. Didn't know you could edit an apk that way. I guess someone smarter than I will come along and answer your question. Interesting.

This is the best place to get started on themeing... Read everything that you can and then just jump on in and do your thing. Pretty much any question you could think to ask has already been asked, and answered in that thread.

Here is the link to the UOT Kitchen - not exactly building your own theme, but great for modifying what you already have.

Another great resource if you plan on making themes for the CM7 Theme Chooser

If running on S3 coming from Note must have S3 updater script in zip. Also if running TWRP must have the right zipalign. The old zipalign that you find in the International CWM zips will not work. Both of these problems will cause the theme not to stick. Will say it flashed but will not change anything.

The ROM is fast and smooth and I definitely like this theme over the stock one. Thanks for all the hard work!
2 little things that I've noticed so far:
1. Brightness/Adjustment sliders don't have the "brushed metal" ball look like the screen captures on the theme page (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2080046). What's there are the blue sliders but it has the small blue ball instead of the larger metal-looking ball.
2. The Clear button on the Notifications pull-down is there but doesn't have the word "Clear" in the box.
That's all I've seen so far. Haven't completed setting everything up so I'll post back if I find anything else.
