Ttorrent hands down. The dev responds to emails in less than 24 hours. Works great, a little slower and laggy on gingerbread captivate.

FREEdi Downloader 2.0.16
Try this, works great. Was on market place but I guess Google doesn't want us to have it, keeps getting removed from Android Market.
http://slideme.org/mobileapp/download/ebf55a94-b7d6-102d-9790-6ec07c99d928.apk
And you need the latest version 2.0.16 any version before that will not work.

Flash to Focus on PC Browsing and Mobile Apps; Adobe to More
http://blogs.adobe.com/conversations/2011/11/flash-focus.html
Please read the article and the reasons behind their decision.
I don't exactly get what they're trying to say.
They're dropping Flash support, but are continuing Adobe Air? What's the difference?
Excuse my ignorance.
Air runs flash out side the Browser. so an app can use flash without launching the Web browser.

So what do we use now to have flash? Because for some reason now I can't play flash videos on my g2x

HTML5 is the way to go as far as web is concerned (for desktop as well as mobile platforms). So, they're doing the right thing. It's a shame Adobe is stopping support for it though. I wonder how this might affect video streaming on youtube etc which require flash in future?

Funny how your title and OP are completely different things. Your title suggests they are dropping Flash entirely and will no longer be available or updated... where your OP says they are simply stopping development.
The latter is right. They are just simply stopping development on it. It is at a place where it is fine. They will still maintain bug fixes with Android but they just won't be developing anymore for it.
Not really a big deal. We have flash support and we always will. This doesn't mean that tomorrow, we won't be able to use flash content. I don't know if its a good thing but HTML5 is a much better choice moving forward.

Not an app, but you can still access tv-links.eu using dolphin browser HD and watch basically any tv show for free. Not the best quality, and it's a bit clunky to use on a phone, but hey, it works.
